Name: Kim Makabe
Nickname: Rin Rin

Nationality: Japanese
Hair Color: Dark Brunette

Face/Head:
Kim's facial appearence is a natural blend of Japanese beauty and feminene charm, even though she isn't a big fan of feminene clothing to begin with though. Never in her life has Kim ever touched make-up before, her skin is smooth and milky white and her head carressed by a patch of brunette hair cut short. Eyes ebony brown, naturally, and since Kim's never had any problems with her eyes she's never worn contact-lenses or glasses since the day she was born(though she's observed a lot of other kids at the school do). Decent once-a-month milk-bathes keep Kim's face milky, soft, and simple.
Arms/Hands:
Kim's always been a pretty skinny girl, even though she had an appetite larger then half the girls in Japan. She ate with an Autumm appetite, only everyday(in Japan people supposedly have larger appetites in Autumm)though unlike the other neighboring girls or her classmates that ate little celery sticks wih beefbowls every day of the week and every week of the month and then complaining about how light-weighted and weakly built they were. Though Kim is what you might call a 'tom-boy' she doesn't have any sort of build except for a small pack of abs showing on her gut every now and then, she works out everytime she feels like it, which isn't much, but who the hell cares anyway? She does what she wants when she wants to of course and isn't always forcing herself to do something against her own will. For example, eating beefbowls. Well in the end, Kim might like to work-out and exercise but somedays it's a good day to stay under the sheets watching T.V. and eating popcorn too, a lazy-athletic type of girl, her personality never really gave Kim the time to build up any sort of build besides her weak abs.
Torso/Legs:
... Must the torso be explained and put fully into detail?! Aren't the legs enough?! Meh, guess that's a no. Kim Makabe grew up a well-raised, well-fed girl, though her parents never realized it though she was pretty much unique from ... everyone. She ate, exercised, slacked and watched movies with whipped cream in her hand which drew everyone to thinking she was very odd. At dinnertime she ate every single portion of food she was served, even though it was always just a little, unlike the other girls she knew and that actually helped Kim to keep healthy even if her parents thought she was somewhat a pig. She dronk lots, ate lots, worked out at the gym in Tokyo which built her body up to an average size, weight, and appearence. As Kim grew, she grew, her breast got larger then her Mom's and drew Kim to wearing loose extra-large shirts which hided her body that hadn't yet been exposed to anyone since her father bathed her eleven years ago. Her legs were the last part that Kim wanted to keep a secret, they were so slender and average and clean. Well kept for sure, Kim always made sure to shave when she saw even a peak of hair growing. I guess you could say she was a little feminene. Nah, she only didn't like hairy things. They were another thing Kim liked to bundle up with large baggy pants, cargo pants specifically, or long shorts that came below her knees so her thighs wouldn't show. She knew guys had a history for looking at girl's legs, and she knew that everyone would be all over her's, as slender, smooth, and well shaped they were, but she didn't want anything to happen between her and some freak. Let's say, the freak suddenly died and Kim was forced into jail, yeah. She didn't want that to happen exactly. Reason one for bundling up.

Kim isn't a very 'normal' type of person, all that she's went through in the past has changed her multipule times in several different ways. She isn't a quiet kind of person, she talks on an average basis and she loves talking with her friends, whether it's over telephone or in-person, Kim can enjoy it. But still, music is Kim's passion. She loves to listen to music more then she does talking or hanging out with people, she doesn't really enjoy always being stuck up face-to-face with another person, smelling their bad breath and talking about things she doesn't really fantasise. When it comes to music, Kim can actually rest in peace and listen to what she wants to listen to, hear what she wants to hear. Kim hates ignorance, she hates people always trying to stick their noses in her personal life, or in her life period and sometimes she just wants to tell them to screw themselves and go talk to someone else because she's not interested in hearing about anything they have to say, but she never does. She likes jokes and people with a good sense of humor, and she sometimes loves to do things that could appear to be really, really stupid! Kim could make fun of herself and make herself look really dumb, but at the end of it she'll laugh and won't mind being laughed at by others. But realistically, Kim doesn't really talk with people openly or make jokes with them and laugh at their jokes until they get to know her and realize what she's been through, she doesn't like making friends with all those dimwits who'll fake cry or give unhonest comments about her past and how hard it all must've been. She doesn't like being fed crap, and when people spit it out at her, she'll spit it right back because Kim knows when someone is being truthful and meaingful and when their just bawling their eyes out for attention trying to give fake sympathy.

Life with Parents -
Kim Makabe was born and raised in Tokyo. Her father was a rich journalist and her mother was a quiet stay-at-home housewife. But still, even though her mother stayed at home tending to do housework like any regular mother should and making all the appropiate meals for her family, Kim still didn't get as much attention from her parents as she needed. Being the only child in a nice, well-off family, usually Kim would be getting all the attention and all the love and care as any other normal child who lived in the Japanese Suburbs, but she wasn't! Her mother served three bowls up every meal, but Kim was sure that her mother only did this because of routiene, because the way Kim saw things she didn't even think that her Mom realized why she was putting a third bowl on the table and who it was for. Anyhow, the family lived in a middle-class house, their income was decent too since every novel Kim's father wrote was a best-seller. They weren't poor, they weren't very rich, but they were well-off. Finally, when Yuki Makabe started noticing her daughter, she had insisted that Kim's long ever-flowing Jet black hair should be cut and dyed to a different color. Kim disapproved of it, but her father went along with anything his wife said, and so furthermore, when Kim turned nine-years-old her hair was dyed Fiery Orange and cut short at a shoulder length. Kim hated her new hairstyle, and the color of it drove her friends and family to calling her 'Mandrian' as a nickname, the color of her locks being very resembling to the Orange. Two years later, Kim's hair was dyed again to a sweet Cherry red. Kim hated this color even worse, but the worst was soon to take it's leave, for about four months later Kim's hair had been dyed dark brunette. She liked this color best because it went with her eyes, and so she had no compliants about this salon-do. Her hair was also cut short, and most her bangs were gotten rid of. Now, she was like a totally new Kim. And also, Kim discovered she hadn't a pound of fat on her body, she weighted lighter then most the girls' in her neighborhood and she couldn't be prouder of herself. Finally, years passed. Kim was a grown-up girl now, a teenager. Her parents knew she had the confidence and determination to take care of herself, and somehow they took a hint that Kim didn't really depend on them or love them as much as she used to when she was a child because of everything that had happened between them. Once, when the Makabe's were supposed to go on a trip to Beiijing for a one week vacation stay there, Kim's parents had forgotten about her and ended up going to Central China and leaving their daughter behind. Luckily they were able to return the next day so Kim wasn't put in any grave danger while her parents were gone. Now, Kim had just turned fourteen years old and it was time for her to enroll at a HighSchool. The only one avaliable with enough decency to persuade the parents was Public HighSchool #647. It was closeby and had a decent reputation, so Kim enrolled there. She couldn't believe it, because it was the first thing that her parents suggested that she actually went along with, besides getting her hair cut short and dyed brown.
Life at Public HighSchool #647 -
Kim enrolled at the high school suggested by her parents, Yuki and Rokurota Makabe. She started going there and kept good grades, always brought home an average Report Card and a secondary smile. She seemed to have enjoyed her time there, but Kim kept the secret from her parents' instead of telling them that #647 was marked as one of the most violent schools in the City. It's reputation was the size of Kim's smallest finger, but everything her Mom and Dad heard about it were good things so Kim decided not to tell them what she saw there everyday. Bad things happened there, the school was slowly turning into a rubble, students dared question their teachers and beat up faculty members for the fun of it. Upperclassmen picked on the lowerclassmen and no body got along, but Kim still enjoyed it there. And why? Her Highschool sweetheart, his name was Tai. At #647, there were several gangs and everyday a student spent there was like a fight for survival, and apparently there happened to be three very strict gangs that were known as the most Notorious teenaged gangs, not only in #647, but in all of Tokyo. There were only three gangs that were known as a complete pain in the ass for this school, and Tai just happened to be the leader of one of them. People respected him at #647 because they knew if they tried to mouth off to him, well, the next second they would be swallowing their teeth. Tai wanted to bring the system down, it was his goal to make sure #647 never saw the daylight of paying off all the critical damages that had been made in the past few years he had spent there so that eventually the school would have to be closed down, and being the leader of one of the most Notorious gangs at the school, it wouldn't be long until Tai's plans were carried out. He was a seventeen year old Junior, and though he did have some knowledge when it came to political science and history, Tai insisted on him to continue skipping classes. He liked girl hunting and going around the school calling every single last girl 'Cutie' and 'babe', but Kim didn't mind that because she was able to see it in his eyes and knew that he didn't mean it when he flirted with those girls, Tai was just playing around being cool and trying to relax himself for a moment while he was away from Gang matters. When Kim met Tai, it was on her seventh day of attendance, on the school roof. Kim had just been beaten in a fight by some lowerclassmen, and so she was shedding tears of shame on the roof where she knew no one would be, no one except Tai. Tai had come on the roof shortly after Kim, he caught her crying and when she told him about the fight she had lost, Tai grinned at her and Kim noticed a sparkle in his eye. One she had never seen before, and at once she knew it was because he was honestly understanding everything she had said, no one else had that sparkle, Tai was the only one. "You won't survive this world with only pom-poms and a sweet voice, Kim. You'll always need plan on how your going to get through today to see the sunrise of tomorrow," He had told her, "Stick with me and I'll show you the way. And losing a fight isn't anything to be upset about, your stronger then that. Don't cry." After telling her this, Kim felt more confident, more determined to show that she wasn't just a pretty face. Kim and Tai sat on the school roof for a few hours, just sitting, Tai's arm was extended across Kim's back as they watched the horizon change color contiously. Finally, school was out and if they didn't leave quickly they would probably be locked inside. Tai hurried to make his departure, but he didn't forget to say goodbye. "What will you do?" Kim had asked him, before he left. She was talking about the Gang war that was going to take place the next day, and she was concerned about Tai. He answered with a grin though, and then said, "I've got a good feeling about tomorrow, and don't worry, whatever happens, at least you won't be involved... Rin Rin ... my curtain of beauty." Saying these words, Tai had stated his leave and then he left the roof. When he called Kim a curtain of beauty, she saw that same honest sparkle in his eye, and the sparkle alone told her Tai meant what he said. She really hoped the best for him tomorrow. Sadly, Kim had an unexpected high fever the next morning and she wasn't able to go to school, so while Tai was fighting side by side with his comrades at #647, Kim was curled up in bed relaxing. She wanted to be there, to fight by Tai's side, but ended up falling asleep halfway through 10:00o'clock. That day, Tai had died with dozens of other students in #647. It was on the news headline the next day, Kim read the article in tears. The gang war had gotten so brutal that cops were pulled in. Kim didn't even get too spend enough time with Tai to explain how she feeled about him, everytime she was almost onto explaining her emotions to Tai, something came up, mostly it was Gang matters that Tai just had to deal with, so he didn't even know how she felt and Kim didn't even know if he rejected her. And the only memory she had left of him, a piece that was fitting into her brain forever, was that name ... Rin Rin ....
Life in America -
Fourteen and a few months old, Kim moved to America with her family. Unfortuneatly though, when Kim was getting settled and putting all her belongings in place in the little house the family had bought, her parents had been killed. Cold-blooded murder, her parents were killed in a 7-11 by an armed and dangerous robber who had come in to clear the store out of all it's money and occupants. In the stick-up, Kim's father and mother were both shot directly in the head and two other people were injured badly, the robber got away clean though. First Tai, now her parents, who would've thought CA was that bad? Kim never really loved her Parents' after five-years-old, but somehow after their deaths, she seemed to have realized how important they really were to her and it crossed her mind on how much she really needed their suppotr and their encouragement. How would she manage without them? Not something to tell herself, since Kim was an independant, strict, tough-ass girl. She was brave and determined to live on her own and survive in America, collecting her father's and mother's life insurance she knew that managing to afford the maintenence of the house that was also left behind with her would be easy. Her father and mother were cementated and their ashes were collected into little china pots with lids, Kim emptied them out into the ocean so that they may sail away back to Japan and live there eternally, as spirits or as ghosts, no matter what, still as her parents, still as lovers. Months later, Kim's fifteen years and a few months old. It's time to go back to trying to get an education, she knows and has learnt a few things from her past. One of things she learnt was that people are all just big jokes who don't mean anything they say most the time, and a compliment from a guy is just some move of theirs' to start off their stupid act. Kim decided she wanted to sort of re-experience her life at #647 in Japan, so she decided to enroll in a violent school with a terrible reputation. And what do you know?
"#259, here I come."
