Anyways, I know most of us know each other, but posting a thread like this would be a good way to introduce the oldbies to the newbies, and vice versa.

Please to meet 'cha, I'm Lloyd. (Yes, that's the actual Tales of Symphonia line)

I've known a great number of the members on the board for 4 years, though I've known Tanya (Kyrie Barrial) and Corey (David Blaze) for about five years, since once upon a time, I RP'ed on Hircine High, which happened to be my very first XIN board, back in January 2008. As it can be clearly seen, my posts have improved very greatly since Hircine High. I joined Public High School #259 roughly around February 2009 after seeing Joe (Matrim Gallagher) and Jiro (Addie Balfour) had joined, then left because stuff went down, then came back around September, and I've drifted on and off ever since. I've RP'ed at, in order: Hircine High, Public High School #253, Public High School #650, Westbrook Academy, Point Hope High, Public High School #552 Regenesis, Public High School #259, Public High School #42, Public High School #774, but no Mugen Hall, strangely enough.

I have quite a few nicknames, but most, if not all, are based from my original nickname, Lloyd, which I acquired from a Tales of Symphonia BBS about... 5-6 years ago. I'm from Vancouver, BC, Canada, I'm Chinese Canadian and sometimes referred to as "The Portable Asian", and I'm 23, soon to be 24 years old. I live really close to Eve (Reira Ling) and met her and Tanya in person in Vancouver last year during Christmas break. We had a blast. I'm currently pursuing an Associate of Arts and Science degree at Langara College, and am pretty damn close to earning it.

My major characters were:

Kazuya Hikari (Public High School #650, Point Hope High, Public High School #42, Public High School #774): My oldest character and pride and joy. I created Kazuya, or Alexander, back in May 2008 on Public High School #650 as the son of Kane Hikari and the little brother of Kane's daughter, later on named Kyoko. He started off as a sarcastic and cynical teenager, and I basically grew up with Kazuya along the way. He's now the father of a baby daughter, has too many scars to count, and is a General in The Dragons. From having a crush on his classmate, Sephora and confessing to her, only to be rejected, to being the crush of, then boyfriend, then ex-boyfriend of Emi Hitokata, and finally developing a crush, then falling in love with and becoming the boyfriend of Emily Delos Santos, then father of her child.

Riley Dalton (Public High School #650, Point Hope High, Public High School #42): Riley was simply a ghost character I had made specifically for Selena's character on Public High School #650, Reira DeMorvick, because her Qi allowed her to speak to ghosts. He was a goofy little kid at heart, but since developed a crush on Reira, was turned human by Rule of Cool or something, and has followed Reira to every school/board she was on. Since Selena stopped RPing, I kind of lost my reason to RP Riley, but he did partly influence Ethan Falkner, my character on Paradigm who was notoriously known for his corny jokes and bad puns.

Li Chang/Daniel Lee (Public High School #552 Regenesis, Point Hope High, Public High School #42): Li had only one thing in common with me, and that was his name. From becoming the Vice President of the Student Council under Leanne Devereaux on Public High School #552, to transferring to Point Hope High and having a Qi allowing him to slow, speed up, or stop time, and then Public High School #42, to being kidnapped and having his memory and genetic makeup utterly tinkered with, he's been through it all.

I actually was a mod here from 2006/7-2009, and have modded in various places and games, including PHS 42 during it's short stint.

About Me: Im 25, Ive been roleplaying since I was 12, and Harry Potter is my gateway drug. Ive roleplayed in all sorts of manners like chatroom, IM, forum based, journal based, and even LARP. I like bad puns and shiny things and fuzzy things, and am very easily distracted by both. I work in IT and have a degree in art...its a little backwards I know. Heya, I'm Greg.

I'm relatively quite new to XIN boards, but I've been doing all sorts of roleplaying online and AFK since, oh, about 12 or 13. My entrance into forum RPGs was a small Bleach board (was small back then at least) named Amalgam, or Isshindensetsu. Wow that was years ago.

It was my good friend Gemmy (Delilah Black, Serj Castlereagh, Thorn Wildspeaker and others) that got me into XIN, specifically into PHS 259, last fall. I had expressed an interest in writing, and she pretty much pushed me in front of the door and was like "here. do it." From there, I've made tons of friends and had an absolute blast. I was promoted to Helper in May, I think, and I've been doing my best to help out wherever I can.

A bit about me, I guess. I'm 22, now living with Gemmy and her husband while I attend technical school for Architecture. Living in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, I guess I'm a part of the Canadian brigade of the 259'ers, and I'm actually taking a trip down to Vancouver to see all them there Westcoasters this November, with Tanya. And Ally, I'm super jelly about you going to Long beach. Would love.

Hallo Frienz, I am the one known as Gemmy (or Meg, or Megan, or Del, or whatever). I've been on PHS 259 since I was...oh god, before I turned fifteen. So like 200...7? Yeah, that sounds right. Which would make me six years now on this site since April, though I've been RPing since I was...twelve. Mostly on Gaia online for a guild known as "Hidden Villages of Ninjutsu", where I played the Ishikage Matsushita Amaya. I also had a breif stint on a Bleach board and on PHS #42 (where a LOT of character growth happened for Delilah) as well as one or two other sites over the years, like Arcane Academy. So, even though I've inadvertently left the site once or twice (because of school or life [and not having a computer]), I keep coming back for more.

Right, so...more about me I guess, my ex-boyfriend who played Rem and the girl who played Emily, both of whom I knew back in my HVN days, invited me to the site. I then got my friends in to it, Greg being the most recent one (Molly Smith, Arim U'remder, Yahto Fang, and Dieudonne Aguille were all played by close friends IRL of mine). I'm twenty one, almost twenty two, and live in Calgary Alberta with Greg, who is my roommate.

Since coming back in February of 2012, though, which was just for a bit of nostalgia, I've made so many friends and have expanded my character's horizons exponentially. I've been consistent with this stuff for a year and a half now, and I AIN'T STOPPIN, YO.

So, my characters.

Delilah Black --my pride and joy, sweet child o' mine~. She's got a kid, a helluva lot of scars and responsibility (she's second in command for Crows) and a temper that acts abn awful lot like a solar flare; unpredictable and always hot. She's a talented fighter, but genuinely a good, caring person. All good people have their demons, though. She's gone from teen mechanic with a bad attitude and band t-shirts to a strong, confident leader...who still goes crazy over cars and well made machines. And she would probably still wear Nirvana shirts if Arim hadn't burned them all.

Serj Castlereagh --I originally created this character to cause havoc with Dieudonne on the school in lieu of the enforcers. Now that the school is destroyed and Dieudonne presumed dead however, he's settled on manipulating the fuck out of everyone he meets and smiling creepily. I never have any idea what he's going to do next. I'm sorry in advance if your character ever meets him.

Thorn Wildspeaker -- I don't remember what my inspiration was before creating this character, but I must have been VERY inspired. One of the hardest characters I've ever written for, she's completely animalistic in nature and can't speak a word of any human tongue except to copy it. But it's her unpredictability that I love so much about her, tearing out a throat one minute, rolling on her back for submission the next. Not fond of clothes. Doesn't smell very goood. Likes the shinies.

One character I miss playing is Anastasia 'Wren' Renwick, a goth on Paradigm which I quit earlier in the year. I might bring her back in some form at some point, but for now, these are my characters.

My name, as preciously mentioned, is Tanya. And it's honestly a pleasure to know each of you (and to get to know you).

Well. I started to RP...ten years ago, or so. My first RP experiences were over Yahoo IM, in the chatrooms. I went from *walks in and sits* to paragraphs and more within the space of about three weeks. Needless to say, I found it all fascinating. I found the XIN Series after being introduced to Varron High, where I made my first character, Kira Karyuudo (the one that was beaten and broken by Kvist and thrown off the roof to dangle by a rope? Yep. That's her and me). I also created her best friend and mischief maker, Hikari Shinodai.

I came to 259...my god, it will be a year in October.

And I have to say that the people I know here...you're all amazing and I love you all very much. <3 Just figured I should get that out of my system, now.

But! I will get to see some of you crazy-wonderful people again (CyberLloyd, Rajborg, Eve II, Ryandroid (new tech name yaaay)) in November? Sssshhhhhhfffffff. I can't wait. And I get to meet new members of the crew (Megatron (maybe at the airport weeee), Gregmech, Coretech (new tech name x 2 yaaay), and Autumnatron (triple tech play! bonus points acquired!))...and...and I'm ridiculously excited about that. Eventually, I've kinda hoped to have a huge roadtrip. Or XIN meetup. Or something. Something and somewhere we can all meet up and chill. We all know that there are people on the other side of these screens of ours...but it helps, doesn't it? Getting to see (and hug, aksdjfa;ksdfaw) the friends you have.

There are only a few things I could name that would be better. And the list is pretty small.

One of the things you may find surprising about me...is how quiet I can be in person--but don't let that fool you. I'll happily pull some of the craziest stuff with friends. It doesn't take much to draw me out, in general~

Aryn Valcoph - what can I say about Aryn? She's flamboyant, hot-headed, sensual, downright sexy, impish, unafraid to speak her mind, unafraid of challenges, will not back down. She's technically a "fire-bender" of sorts. Pyrokinetic. She's got it in her mind to become an Elder Dragon, and currently apprentices under Leon Sudeki. Ryandroid and Leon managed to convince me to bring her over.

Kyrie Blaze - Kyrie has, despite her quiet nature, officially stolen all of my muse for 259, more or less (something Aryn wasn't happy about at all but she's kinda...sitting in the corner, grumbling, because the little blonde is stubborn). She, as I said, is quiet...but once she speaks, she will grab your attention and will not let go. Deeply emotional, highly loving and giving, but with a steady head on her shoulders. She was made, absolutely, to endure...but I never had intended for her to endure all that she has in the past year. I feel for her, quite a lot. She's apprenticing under Mathew Amtrum to become an Elder Dragon, herself...but with current plots so up in the air, I don't know where her path will lead her. Regardless, I simply hope for her happy ending, whichever direction it goes.

Though I originally had made her on Paradigm...her entire concept was intended for a post-apocalyptic world. So it's no wonder I enjoy playing her so much in a place and universe she was intended for.

Hiya!

My name is Rachel. I'm pretty new here. Let's see, I joined this place in March, so I've been here for about six months now. Oh! And this is my first ever RP game, and I mean ever. I have to say, I love it so far!

About me... I'm sixteen, still in school, and I'm homeschooled. (AWESOME RIGHT!?! ) I am generally a quiet person, until I get comfortable with you. Then I can be pretty loud and crazy sometimes!

I was introduced to this world by several other players, and some of them are newbies like me so you may not know them. Robert(Raikostu Sudeki), Pat(Koshiro Warhazzard), and Dylan(Zax) are my friends, and practically family to me.

About my character...
Arael Hiroshi. She's a pretty quiet person. Not very loud or violent, but calm and peaceful. Until you threaten something precious to her that is. Then she's like a cornered lion, dangerous and unpredictable to her opponents.

I don't know much else about her actually. She is still a new person, still developing in my head. I believe this place will really help her develop and come out of her 'shell'.
