It's 8AM and a somewhat chilly morning, where is Delilah and what is she doing?

8AM
After putting her team of Tengu through their extensive weekly exercises to keep them as sharp as possible (which started at six am), Delilah got herself warmed up with a jog through the Crow territory, sticking to the perimeter and avoiding main pathways so as to avoid interfering with the civilian activities.

As Delilah warms up with a jog, she feels the rays of the sun shine on her, warming her up. As several minutes pass by though, she feels herself not only growing incredibly warm, and then hot, beads of sweat pouring down her face, but the brightness of the rays intensify.

About a quarter of the way into her jog, as the sun began to gain force to shine it's light across the land, Delilah began to feel...warm. Unseasonably so, as the air had been quite chilled when she left the 'Nest. Disconcerted but not deterred, she pressed on.
It wasn't until she was halfway through her jog that she was starting to become uncomfortably hot, with sweat running from her hairline and into her face. Her breathing was still regular, though the air itself still felt crisp as it entered her burning lungs. She was only slightly worried; it wasn't much hotter than a normal summers day, and she'd jogged through those before with no problem.
So why did she get the feeling something wasn't quite right?

Delilah is right to feel something is not well, as the rays of sun intensify so brightly, she's nearly blinded. And it becomes apparent why. Delilah hears a loud whistling (start at 4:39) followed by a wide laser beam of sunlight shooting straight down and sweeping towards her! What does she do?

It was sudden and gradual. The light was so bright now that it was blinding, though her eyes would eventually adjust.
But not before a high pitched whistle of danger pervaded her ears.
"What the--"
Extraordinarily bright light crashed down on the ground in front of her, and the mechanic did the only thing she could think of. Bail.
She dove sideways down an alley as the laser ripped along the path where she had once been standing. The new shade offered her a reprieve from the overwhelming brightness. After the laser had passed, she would return to the start of the alley and tear off in the direction of the next shrouded enclosure, in case the laser should return.

Delilah dodges the laser beam like a bauss! But it's not over yet. The tell-tale whistle of the laser beam reaches her ears, as another beam would come sweeping towards her! She's fighting against the sun! How can she beat it? Tune in next time!

Another beam shot towards her, just as she expected.
No alley way this time, just a small alcove, a dent in the tin walls of the shipping containers. She ducked into it, beating it with her fists to make it deeper, closing her eyes against the burning light as it neared.

The beam would sweep past Delilah, just barely missing the tips of her hair! If she looks up ahead, she can see the origination point of the laser beam is coming from the roof of a nearby building. She'd better move fast, before the next wave is upon her!

The laser passed, frying the tips of her hair. As it went, she looked up at the sky above her
There
There was something there on the roof, across the street.
Her mouth contorting into a snarl, Delilah activated her Qi and broke cover, tearing across the street towards the opposite wall. She would be able to scale it easily with her grippy-boots, and forced her Qi into her hands to create sharp protrusions to make climbing faster. She also used this ability and dexterity to weave and jump up the wall in an unpredictable pattern, to avoid the laser should it try to knock her off the wall. If she had to, she would tear a chunk of the metal wall and brace it over her head to prevent the condensed light from hitting her.

Delilah reaches the wall just as another laser beam whistles past her! Because she under the point of origin, she cannot be hit by it. When she reaches the top, she sees a young man standing on the roof with one hand held up above his head, rays of sunlight pouring down and concentrated onto his hand, as one more beam would sweep across the street. When he sees her, he lowers his arm down... and grins sheepishly at her. "Wow, didn't see that coming. You're goooood."

She managed to claw her way up the wall, swinging herself up and onto the surface of the roof, drawing her knives...only to see a young man standing there.
"Wow, didn't see that coming. You're goooood."
Eyes narrowed to slits and she advanced on him quickly. "And you're about to be fucking dead."
Unless he could convince her otherwise. Which was doubtful.

The young man immediately freaks out and holds his hands out in front of him in what is clearly a pose of surrender. He's not faking either, he's clearly scared for his life.
"Ahhh, don't kill me please!! I saw you from up here and thought you were an enemy or something, since you were keeping to the outside! I'm sorry, I didn't know I was firing at the First Crow, oh God whyyyyyyyyy!"

"AND WHO IN THE FUCK GAVE YOU THE ORDER TO FIRE?" She roared, still storming towards him, the snarl on her face made all the more fearsome by the metal coating her skin. "IT SURE AS HELL WASN'T ME. ARE YOU SO DAFT THAT YOU COMPLETELY FORGOT PROTOCOL IN THE HOPES OF BEING SOME HERO?
"WHAT IS YOUR NAME AND CLASSIFICATION, MAGGOT,"

"L- Lee Seung Kyun or Ethan, f-former Agent Trainee of the Long Beach Militant Academy! Ma'am!"
He'd cry out, before a grin would form on his face.
"And I am no maggot. I am one half of the duo known as Team Shake n' Bake. Remember the name well First Crow Delilah Black."
And in a burst of light, he would disappear, a beam of light shooting away from her.
But for all her troubles, Delilah feels pretty darn stronger and faster. If still utterly pissed off.
Welcome to High 2 Tier!
Please don't kill me...
