[OOC: Sooo bookmark notifications ain't working no more for me. T__T]
"Did you now? Must've been something.."
She wasn't going to ask about the enemies or why she was in Wales finding from such. It wasn't her business, after all everyone had enemies in one shape or another.
"Someone going mad and dropping bombs would ruin such beauty wouldn't it.."
Eury looked down at the little girl in her own arms with a soft smile, giving the girl another poke to the nose. Bastille was lucky to have her daughters even in a world like the present was. Bastille was just lucky in general to have a family that was together. Eury didn't have that luck as of late. She wouldn't the seldom expression fall on her face, keeping her smile as she looked up to Bastille.
"I doubt anyone could explain the silence, other than it not making sense.. I know I haven't been around but observing how prosperous everything has been just seems like Barker doesn't care. Like he's still playing a game. When I ran into Oleysa right after apparently his men were attacking the wall, but yet the attack just seemed fruitless.. I believe she then said something about them maybe not being directly affiliated with him.. I don't know.. Just doesn't feel right to me... but alas it is what it is, for now that is."

Bastille raised a brow and nodded to Eury, acknowledging the information she had been given, but not responding...in her mind it did not good to instil fear into the men...they were brave enough to come out of hiding in the cracks to fight, if you could call being backed into a corner bravery...Bastille sighed.
"Mathew....said something once, about Barker. If he is our greatest enemy, than who is his?...no man has no enemy, but I doubt his is death or the thought of mortal qualms. Outside of us, no one in the world knows who bombed it to bits, his name is unknown...so obviously it is not fame he seeks. But if Barker is what enters our nightmares, it begs the question what enters his......of course if we knew that we would probably not be standing here...or sitting" She smiled and nodded.
"Either way, ...we do not do well to dwell...but indeed we do prepare. I believe Olyesa has made arrangements against some of the major ideal attack plans, rest assured I mean to cover the rest. But as a matter of curiosity, what is it you, as wife of the lighting dragon, think we should do?"

[OOC: YESSSS OMG! IT FINALLY POSTED! NOT BLANK POSTED!]
It was very clear on the brunette's face that she was listening very intensively to each and every word spoken from the woman before her. Even more apparent as she gave a very small nod here and there with a 'hm' sound coming from closed lips. It's been enough time that Eury had been back to get a decent grasp of how things were going and running for the most part. She had a world of questions and no so called husband to ask them to. A part of her thought it simply typical for him to go off and disappear while she stood behind. It was rather annoying when she thought further more on it because when did she get so domesticated? Thinking about it probably when she became a mother. It was certainly something that would change anyone, then again her first rush with memory lost probably played a big role as well. But enough of all that. She had to admit at least someone was thinking on a bigger scale. Thinking more than most. Questioning like Eury secretly was.
Near the end Bastille questioned Eury. What would she, wife of the Lightning Dragon do? For a moment she was taken back not by the question but the title. It might not be so significant to most but it made her think of David calling her the Queen of the Lightning Tower. It's like she was slowly truly realizing her position in everything. The fact that Leon was an Elder and she being his wife entailed something of power no? Position. Ranking. Meaning. Symbolism. That she held something in her hands she had never intended to in her life. Though at the same time there was a part of her that wondered would her identity be lost within this grouping. Within this position. She never saw herself as the wife of the Lightning Dragon for as long as she's known him to hold such a title. She didn't marry the Lightning Dragon in her eyes, she married Leon Sudeki. It was a long explanation to truly grasp the understanding of her meaning. Question was did she really wish to assume the role of a Queen? Of a position of power? It wasn't that she couldn't do it. It was something more.
On the outside Eury was completely collected giving nothing away to her thoughts and how she taken back she was. The silence was only brief yet for Eury it felt much longer. A small smirk tugged on her lips as she finally responded musing a little.
"Heh it's still taking a bit to get used to that.. How about me as Eurydice hmm."
She softly chuckled before continuing.
"To be completely honest I've been roaming around the territory for the most part getting to know everything again. Having battle plans for potential attacks are all well in good, but from what I've noticed everyone seems relatively fine. Prosperous even. As if Barker has just let you all grow into what you are now without truly opposing that growth. Why let everyone here thrive? In truth he should've had people at his mercy begging for food and shelter, yet he didn't from my understanding. It's as if he doesn't see anyone of you as a threat to him. A real threat, otherwise he wouldn't have allowed any of you to have all that you have."
She briefly paused gazing off and about the room.
"Unless of course he's one of those egomaniac's that want to see their opposition grow just to prove they could crush them anyways, or that he wants the challenge. But really many of those don't exist not even in our books. Something doesn't sit well with me. It's like everyone is sitting and waiting instead of trying to find out what we can about our enemy. I mean what do we really know about Barker? What real intel has been gathered to give us all a sense of direction? It's a jigsaw puzzle. I guess what I would do is try to gather some more intel. Why should we be so blind to the ongoings? There's clearly a huge curtain hanging before us and I don't know who is truly willing to step passed it to discover the truth. Waiting for him to come will not end well in truth. We can prepare for attacks as much as possible but there are many types of ways he could approach, are we truly prepare for every possibility? I doubt we're ever really know what's up his sleeve completely but we could have a better idea."
Her gaze finally shifted back to Bastille with a little bounce of her knee to the little princess in her arms.
"I too don't think Barker is the end game. Thinking about everything it doesn't add up in a way that truly makes much sense to me. I do agree there is something lurking behind him. A shadow casted over him, shrouded from us but certainly will reveal itself when the time was right as usual. I'm sure the men are a bit overzealous and kill first instead of capturing a few for information purposes, maybe if they weren't that could and would help with intel."
She smirked and shrugged at that thought.
"I rather we learn more to help us prepare even better. Maybe even not stand about waiting. Though yes, I wouldn't want the men and women to worry, but our soldiers and supposed leaders need to be a bit more concern. Need to wonder more about these issues. But we're talking about men aren't we? They don't always use their upper brain for the right thoughts, I guess that's what we're here for hm?"
It was funny how Eury answered a question. She gave more information than the question required yet at the same time she gave the proper information for the inquiry. Was she really wrong to think that they needed to gather some kind of intel on their enemy instead of sitting around looking pretty? Waiting for something to strike them first? It's almost like Barker wasn't a threat either. Why worry about a man that isn't even truly bothering you? It was a bit complicated when one wanted to truly break it down. For now that was Eury's thoughts on the matter for the most part. She had the training to do the intel work but that was a whole other situation in its own.

Bastille nodded quietly and listened intently. Ironically she completely agreed and yet disagreed.
"You pose a good point, one which to their credit, those 'men' haven't completely skipped over. But with no clear action on how to obtain such information leaves them without much option but to attack whats in front of them. All things considered, I believe them to be doing a good job. We are both rebuilding civilization and fighting back against what took it from us in the first place. But you are right, Barker isn't the real enemy here, just a just face to a blame we wish to convict. Still cornered with the idea, one must be ever vigilant. I guess the saying 'day by day' comes into play here" She said quietly.
What choice did they have? There was no clear way to get information about what was out there, and as of now...she supposed it didn't need center stage yet. Of course that didn't mean they couldn't shine a couple of strobes on it in the mean time- just to keep it in check. She looked at her girls.
"We've been working to secure our bases- I dont believe there is something I could individually contribute that hasn't already been brought up- but I do have incites- medieval they may be- that despite their age once again hold relevance in current situation. It's exciting to think we are in a way returning to the primitive...but that might just be me"
