Lucien watched as some of the people started to leave. Kazuya, for one, which made Lucien feel a little sad. While it was true that he wasn't expecting people to jump for joy over this, it would at least be nice if they accepted him as the man Leon chose to succeed him. Whether or not he was the right man for the job, ultimately, his fate would be decided not only by himself.
As if on cue, because it was, Lucien raised his right arm and extended his fingertips. Sparks of electricity flew from his fingers, reaching up into the sky, and creating quite a dazzling show.
Leon continued speaking, and he lowered his hand, the electricity buzzing back into his body, where it sat in his form to rest.
E femm Iheda dras ymm. I will unite them all. The words permeated through Lucien, reinvigorating him, reminding him why he was here. And he waited patiently for Leon to close his speech, and looked to David, for his rebuttal.

David removed his hood, and jacket. He wore a sleeveless shirt, with a purple vest embroidered in gold. On the back was written in black flame "Storm". He had watched Lucien without interest, listening to Leon, then frowning.
"Then you, Leon, have missed the true testament of the name you would pass on. The Earth Dragon. The Storm Dragon. The Lightning Dragon. Our names are just words we fancied. Titles that allowed us to be remembered- or so everyone thought and still does. More than that, the name is a reflection of the soul, of who we are. It doesn't grant us power. It's no ones right to have it but ours, because it is truly who we are. You break with that tradition, with that namesake, and pass it on to a boy whose neck I could break with one arm, because you say he is most like you. This isn't some game to be own by allowing our titles to live on through others. This is about honor. And respect. And the fight."
The smoke rising off his body disappeared.
"I should come up there and show you why this kid isn't fit for a name. Isn't fit to be counted among the strongest fighters on earth. Instead, I'm going to do what you've done since you built this tower. I'm going to do nothing. Goodbye, Lucien. Leon. For me, the Lightning Dragon is dead until proven otherwise."
He turned and walked away, leaving Kiyr without a glance, hands flexing in anger.

Blue eyes watched, curiously, for reactions from the trio standing upon the balcony. Those same eyes shot wide open when Lucien pointed his finger skyward and lightning sprang at his command. She liked Lucien, but she couldn't wrap her head around this. It wasn't personal, in this.
True, Kyrie herself strove for a name, but she had set herself upon the path. She didn't understand how a Crow - again, no offence to either Lucien or the Crows - could become a named. Let alone to take a name that was someone's in particular, already. Her eyes darkened; what Leon did was his business and she really had no say. Such was life, now. But, she agreed with many of the things David spoke of, just behind her.
Sounds issued behind her told her David turned and walked away.
"Merde..." She intoned. Mostly because that was what it was, but also because she had no clue what else to think. With one last look upwards, knowing she would likely hear more later, she spun and moved to shadow David; he was angry, but she doubted he would lash out at her. So she flowed through the crowd, gaining until she was keeping pace, expression set to careful composure while her gaze remained confused, conflicted, and concerned, above all else.

"Times like these you really find out who your friends are huh?" A voice would speak in a sardonic tone. If anyone bothered to look, they would find Marcus suddenly sitting on a window sill that had been empty until now after he had yet again climbed the outside of the tower, listening to the proceedings atop of one of the many support ledges with his back to the wall. "Nothing like Shaking up the status quo to earn yourself the enmity of your peers huh?"
Making his way up Towards Lucien and Leon, Marcus would wear his trademark mischievous smile, but his eyes would be unreadable and sharp. He would put a hand atop of Lucien's head and ruffle his hair alittle, eyes still On the Former Lightning Dragon. "Leon. I will always love you like a brother man, but right now I need to be frank. I don't know what fucking game you think you're playing right now, but let me tell you, a good Alpha always takes care of his own."
Which meant Marcus was fully prepared to become the worlds most vicious wrench and toss himself into whatever machinations this whole thing would bring about if it meant it was setting Lucien up for something Nasty. Marcus knew damn well about the kind of Politics that went on among the dragons, having been in contact with them for a long time until his self imposed exile. He remembered the games back in 552. He doubted it was any different here.
And judging by Mr. Blazes reaction, the lad would soon find himself under many a crosshair.
"Lucien Dechain. Ghost Wolf. Lightning Dragon." Marcus would finally turn to address the young man. His eyes softening. "I don't think your ready for this. At all. Not even close." He would lean his face in close to Luciens, his mouth twisting into a menacingly wolfish grin.
"But by god almighty I will do what I can to make sure you will be." He may be the Lightning Dragon now but he was still Wolfpack. In the Alpha's eyes he would always be one of his pups.
Saying what needed to be said, Marcus nodded and turned to leave, looking over his shoulder to leave a parting word. "See you back at the compound when this is all done." Like a Home, the Wolves Den would always be there. And so would he.

So he does have lightning capabilities. Interesting. Leon you always know how to stir up trouble don't you. And people say I'm trouble. Wait, was that Kazuya leaving? Heh, why do I feel I shouldn't be surprised at his possible displeasure.
.::Her eyes continued to scan about until it fell on the voice that spoke up questioning Leon::.
I knew someone would.
.::The individual turned out to be David which of whom she met once before in a brief encounter. An individual that had left the Dragon's technically no? Wasn't that the word that had spread about? Yet here he was, and visibly angered with the choice. In silent thoughts she listened::.
People and titles I swear, why do they act like it truly defines a person. An individuals actions defines them not what they are called. Why do people hold on to such trivial things has a name given to them, earned or otherwise. It's just a name. Now it's only their right to bear it so they can be remembered? Because it's who they are? What? I really do try my best to understand the attachment to titles but this one...Now honor, respect and the fight? This seems all over the place and the title shouldn't live on through others? What if said individual was truly dead? Who's to say someone wouldn't try to take up that mantle for the reason that apparently the title meant something to I guess the people? To have it live on as a beckon or rather symbol of hope? See this is where I can understand the titles thing, but to others who do not possess one.
But to those that do possess them most of the time it's about holding a position of power; of strength. Or so they believe it is. It's an excuse to flex themselves over others. So you can easily come up here and break this boy's neck? And now apparently these titles go to the strongest fighters on earth? This is seriously all over the place here. That makes it sound like the strongest fighters in the world are all named Dragons. Better yet is that he considers himself that high on the pedestal. That's a very big ego there. Not to mention an incredible power trip. But then why aren't you stepping up if you feel so strongly? Didn't you leave and you're leaving again? Why do people say such things but instead still turn their back in the end? What really is the purpose? It's either you lead or you follow, or you do neither. If it doesn't matter to you then why bother making it seem like it does if you won't do something about it? Saying you will do nothing like Leon will not resolve whatever the issue is. Which feels like it's a lot more than this Lucien being given this. Yet still you turn your back and I can see and feel the anger from where I stand.
You must feel like you've done so much while others do nothing. It's not hard to figure out, especially when it comes to a man. Efforts clearly wasted on unappreciative individuals. I've known many like that, once upon a time even myself. Except I didn't consider myself so high and mighty. I didn't have that ego or was power hungry. Oi vey things are just going to continue to get hectic. My head is starting to hurt seriously. But one last thing the original Dragon titles were taken from a faction of sorts long ago. It's not what it seems like anyone longer. I think the purpose or even meaning has lost its way. In truth if you want to be technically only the originals names technically count.
.::Eury shook her head a little, gently touching her right temple as another joined them on the balcony. She recognized him from the night the creature appeared::.
Marcus
.::At least he seemed willing to help the boy and the poor lad was going to seriously need it at this point. Eury's stand on this wasn't known and more than likely wouldn't be till later. She had too much on her plate to worry about a stupid title change. She moved a little closer to Leon, touching him on his forearm and spoke::.
"You're treading some dangerous waters ya know. But I know this isn't surprising for you..Knowing you, you're relishing in this aren't you.. Indeed we'll talk soon...But alas I'm sure you've got something to do first as usual.. Your 'subjects' don't look so happy and I'm not gonna listen to the complaints this time...I'll come back so when can talk when you are done cause it requires your full attention nothing half assed... And there's too many emotions, I'm still not 'well enough' to hold that amount back."
Indeed I will return. These proceedings are causing too much noise right now. Too many emotions are running high and I can feel them more than I would like to. I don't want to be overruned by them again. Hopefully he would understand, but more importantly do you care enough Leon?
.::Eury would then place a kiss Leon's cheek saving face then turn to leave without a word to either of those around. Just taking her escort with her. She had a feeling she wouldn't be stopped so she would continue to go, but she was certainly due to return shortly::.

Rai would walk over to Lucien after David made it obvious he was displeased and Marcus offered his assistance. He would stand right in front of his friend and scan him with his good eye, then he would hold out his hand.
"Congrats."
Rai said with a smile.
"I trust my uncle, and I honestly don't know if he's up to his schemes or he did it just because, but what I do know is that if he chose you it was for a reason, and I for one will not challenge that reason, but rather support it. I am your friend and I will continue to be your friend for as long as I live. If you ever need help, just know that I won't turn you away."
Rai then put his fist on his chest and bowed his head.
"Famlusa du dra vysemo pnudran."

{ooc: SO MANY THINGS GOING ON}
Lucien heard David's speech, listening intently with a face void of emotion. Even as the man remarked about snapping his neck, he stayed calm. This wasn't the time, nor the place, to cause a backlash. Especially with so many people against him.
Inside, he found sorrow. An overwhelming feeling of outsider, and though he could see where each of them was coming from, that even though Leon had given him this title, no one was going to acknowledge it. Even people he counted as friend.. Kiyr.. Kazuya.. David..
Marcus...?
Lucien turned his head, then eventually turned around fully to face the Alpha. As he spoke to Leon, Lucien fixed his hair and listened. He had the feeling that Marcus was against this fully, the way he spoke to Leon. But, once he turned to him, edging his face WAY TOO CLOSE for Lucien to be comfortable...
Lucien smiled. With Marcus, it was always tough love, but it was love that the man exuded. More than anything, he was glad that Marcus was accepting him.
As the Wolf made his leave, a woman came forward and touched Leon's arm. She seemed very familiar.. Where had he seen her..? Ah, the incident with the monster, and the masks. He remembered Raikotsu's remark.. Eurydice, Leon's wife. He had forgotten about that. He wanted to make a remark, his first thought being, 'you have a wife?!
And, speak of the devil, Raikotsu himself came forward. After a moment's uncomfortable glance, the white-haired man held out his hand to shake. Lucien accepted it gladly, thankful that Raikotsu was accepting of him, too. It meant a lot, and his words sunk in. So, he did have supporters in the Dragons...
Raikotsu suddenly bowed to him, and spoke again.
Lucien brought his fist to his heart, and bowed in response, keeping his eyes on Raikotsu. As he straightened himself, he smiled.
"Fa tuh'd cryna y hysa, pid ...shit, what was it... vysemo fa yna." He finished, sheepishly. Languages were hard, and he had only been studying that aspect for a short while.

Rai chuckled.
"Best try not to do that round some of these other hard asses they might try and rip you a new one just because you're still learning. But don't you worry, they'll grow to like you, or you'll impress them, or you will die and nobody will think twice about you. The only thing that matters now is which of those three you wish to attempt first."
Rai looked around at the crowd... or lack there of.
"Well guess I should be taking my leave now, but like I said if ya ever need me don't hesitate to give me a shout. Good luck!"
With that Rai was off. Hope you got what it takes little buddy...
