Oh really? Thought the raven hair as they continued dancing, her mind already set into its conspiring ways. And why not? A club was the perfect place to pick up attractive, yet desperate young men, why not exploit the opportunity? Chi smirked, dancing a little bit closer to him, passing it off as a movement caused by the jostling crowd.
"Well, seen anything you like?"
She offered slying, looking up at him with her wild eyes. She had to blink to keep him in focus as the flashing lights made it kind of hard to see clearly.

"You're the first." He replied while staring into her eyes, looking for anything he could pick up. Peoples eyes revealed a wealth of information if you knew how to recognize it. In a club, however, it was just a tad harder. Flashing lights and wild eye shadow can be huge distractions.

"Popcorn...microwaveable, good. Boxed juice...good. Twenty bucks for pizza delivery...good. Are you sure twenty bucks is enough for pizza and delivery?""It's enough, Xiang.""I guess I'll have to take your word for it, then," Said the six-year-old girl, Xiang. The little lady Max lived with, tossing her brown pigtails about and settling on the sofa in front of the television with a large bowl of popcorn set on the coffee table accompanied by boxed juice and a few green bills, she flicked it on as Max fitted another button through the opposing hole on her jacket. "Where are you going again?" Asked the curious girl, a look of wonder on her face as she gave her practical mother a good reason to answer honestly. Max had a look of nervousness on her face, tightening the beaded scarf around her neck, she hadn't been expecting such a cool Autumn but would have to work with it, neh? "Just out to a new club that opened a small walk away," She said, "But I'll be back before long, okay?" "Don't stay out all night." Warned the younger girl. Max nodded with reassurance, "I won't. You don't stay up all night, be a good little sister, okay?""Am I ever a good little sister?" "...will you be one for me today?" "Hmm...for another twenty bucks?" "You thief." Max said, taking a few more bills out of her pocket and putting them on the table, evening out her straight hair that was settling at her back-line. "Okay, I'm a goner. Be good."Max left the motel and Xiang, hopefully the girl wouldn't shed her place up into three dozen pieces and would have a good evening to herself without making noise and drawing suspcision while Max had planned a simple evening for herself. And where? Not at the park, that was for sure, and not some diner, but at a nightclub like she had told Xiang. The Pipeline was it's name, apparently. Max was under the legal drinking age but she didn't plan on really drinking tonight, just having some peaceful fun at a bar with music ... if such a thing was possible. Max took a taxi, on the ride she didn't even open her eyes so she wasn't exactly sure where the club was, she just gave the driver the ad she found in the paper and asked him to take her there. He kept the ad. There was a line-up in front of the building when she arrived, but luckily it was not too large. Max stepped out of the yellow cab, paid her dues, and stood in line for a bit, squeezing her ID card in her right pocket. I hope no one shows any bad intentions for a pretty girl tonight...She thought to herself, noting the slightly older crowd. Typically, any people with those sorts of ideas on their minds wouldn't pick such a turn-off for a target though, Max being quite bundled up if you'd ask most girls who went clubbing. While her true attire underneath the coat wasn't visable, the short petite asain girl wore a long black leather jacket that came to her knees, a beaded purple and gold scarf that covered half her face, black stockings and high-heeled boots that covered her calve and stopped at her knee-line where the coat was. Not very attractive, eh? Besides the fact that the coat was probably a bit tight. Finally, it was her turn and she was at the front of the line, flashing her ID card at the bouncer she entered the club. She stood there for a bit, quite a few people on the dancefloor, Max walked a bit deeper inside and scanned the interior of the club for a seat...the bar? Wait...isn't that Levi? She spotted the redhead in the crowd of people on the dancefloor, dancing with some girl ... Chi? Friends huh? Sure... A tad bit unhappier, Max found herself unwrapping the scarf around her neck as she started to walk very slowly towards the bar, taking a good look at Chi and Levi as they danced but then she just looked forward as she approached nothing but chairs and a counter with many selections of different alcohols set upon it. OoC: Here I am! All hail!

((ooc: Awww poor Max! If if makes you feel any better, Chi and Levi/Aury don't recognize each other...dun dun dun. xD))
Chi couldn't help but grin as the red haired boy told her that she was the first potential hottie he'd seen all evening. It was a good thing the place was hot enough as it was, he wouldn't notice the warmness that crept into her cheeks. She ran a hand through her long dark hair as she danced, she'd left it down tonight, and it was already starting to feel heavy as all of the heat seemed to be attracted to it. That was the only problem with long hair, but it was alright.
"So, where you from, handsome?"
She asked, as she couldn't recall seeing him around before despite the fact that he looked vaguely familiar. Maybe he went to a school in the next town or something, or he could even be visiting. It was possible.

It seemed he had made a wise choice, as this girl seemed to be exactly what he was looking for. "Just a few miles north, beautiful. What about you?" Levi asked, flirting back. Already he was wondering how intelligent she was. Sure, dancing and small talk was fine for now, but he doubted they would spend the whole night on the dance floor. She didn't have to be a genius, but semi-deep conversation was a must.

"Few miles South'a here."
Chi smiled, that meant that the boy probably went went to 259 along with her, unless he went to some private school or something, but she could ask that later. You rarely found teens talking about education matter at a club, at least not to someone they just met. As the song ended, Chi was struck with the realization that she was kind of thirsty, and the bar sitting not too far away began to look really good to her.
"Want to get a drink?"
She offered her new acquaintance, thinking that he could probably use some refreshing as well. Dancing could really take a lot out of you.

Haha, opposite directions. Levi thought after the dark haired girl responded. Although he had only broken a light sweat, he was becoming bored of the repetitive dancing. The song ended and he was about to ask the girl if she wanted a drink or something, but she ended up beating him to it. "Sounds like a plan." He said before following her towards the bar.
Now, because they were underage the bartender would probably severely limit their drink choices. This didn't really appeal to the redhead, so he decided to see if he could change things. Pulling a twenty and a fifty from from his wallet, he called the bartender over. "This enough to get you to overlook my age?" The schizo asked while flashing the twenty only. As expected, the man gave him an unaffected look. "What about this?" He questioned before throwing down the fifty. Now, seventy dollars was a pretty reasonable bribe. The man seemed to think so as well because he took the cash and asked what Levi wanted. Three shots of rum is fine, He said before turning to the girl. "You want anything?"

The reached the bar in one piece, Chi was relieved to finally give her feet a break for a bit. She scooched up onto the bar stoop because of her micro mini, before leaning her elbows on the bars surface. She watched in an amused way as the red head bribed the bartender to overlook their age. Nice. She grinned in approval as the boy asked for her order.
"Rum and coke, please."
She smiled sweetly at the bartender, who just exhaled in a bored manner before going to prepare their drinks. It probably wasn't the first time he'd been bribed to overlook a clubber's age. Oh well. Once the bartender was out of earshot, she turned to the red haired boy.
"Nice move with the money..I approve."
She complimented in a flirtacious way, winking one of her flashy pink and blue eyes at him as she swivled on her bar stool.

"I'll have a white russian, ple-"
"Rum and coke, please."
Oh? Isn't it Chi? What, is Levi planning to get her drunk and take her home too or something? Max thought grimly to herself as she kept the scarf to cover the side of her face mounted on her shoulders, as if her hair wasn't doing a good enough job though. She had taken a seat at the bar, and unfortuneatley Chi was sitting next to her, as the bartender scurried to make the couple's drink quickly she cleared her throat and gestured a finger at him; it was her polite way of saying "get your ass over here",
"I'll have a white russian." Max repeated, the bartender gave her a furry look, but Max was able to afford one of those looks. She used to live in a penthouse by herself, did she not? Pulling a couple hundreds out of her coat pocket, she fished them onto the counter toward the bartender who grinned largely as he then went off to get the other customers' drinks and her own, Max sat steadily in place. It was annoying, the fact that she was sitting next to Chi who was with Levi, but as long as they didn't know ... meh. "Keep the change." Max said, throwing another fifty onto the counter as the bartender had come back with her drink. The more the pay, the faster the serve, she shrugged as she took it and he went back to business.
OoC: Max will now drink herself to death! MUAHAHA

Ah, so she was a fan of rum as well, another plus. Hopefully the bartender would actually bring them something quality, and not cheap clear rum. "Haha, it's nothing special," Levi said with a chuckle. Most people had their price, the only trick was finding it. Manipulation was so easy if you just put some thought and creativity into it. Most things were like that, but people were usually too stupid or too lazy to invest effort into their actions.
Out of no where another voice caught the schizo's attention. It seemed vaguely familiar, and very depressed. Looking over, he decided that he had never seen the girl before, and turned his attention back to the short girl. "So, what do you do when you're not out hunting for guys at the clubs?" The redhead asked, this being his test of intelligence.

The girl quirked an eyebrow curiously as the red head looked around for a moment, it seemed as if he'd heard something. Apparently not because he continued talking as usual. Oh well, it could have been a trick among the garble of voices through the club. She even thought she heard something, but it could have just been her.
Chi let out a light laugh at the boy's inquiry of her pasttime other than chasing boys. Ah, if he only knew..but it would be best to tell him what she liked doing besides that.
"Well, I like to read, I'm a bit of an artist, but I don't pursue it as much as I probably should, and I love visiting the beach, but only when all the tourists aren't around."
The girl looked up as the bartender returned with their drinks, sliding them up to them.
"Oh, thanks."
She said, politely but unnecessarily as he was already handing a drink to the person sitting next to her. She seemed quite bundled up for being at a club, but to each their own she supposed. She turned her attention back to the red head, taking a sip of her drink.
"What about you?"
((ooc: Max, we aren't ignoring you, we have a plan ^_~))

OoC: *throws confetti* hurray
Oh gosh... Max sighed as she lifted the cup over to her mouth as she listened to the two talking, how romantic. The cold glass touched her bottom lip and she took a sip of the cool beverage which had a major effect on her, as Max hurriedly settled the cup back down on the counter and began slightly coughing in her throat, she kept her mouth closed so as to not to draw attention and then shook her head in disbelief. What am I doing? A mental sigh, as Max pushed the drink over, twidled with her fingers a bit, and then took it back and downed another good swallow. So far, so good. At least she was in peace ... partly.
"Can I have this in a couple shot glasses, please?"
Max asked with a raised eyebrow as the bartender was passing, he gave a lazy nod and tossed three shot glasses onto the counter in front of the girl and then went to tend to another customer. Max took the cup and poured a small portion into each of the shot glasses, and then downed one of them and put the cup aside. Yes, hurray, let's get drunk underage! ... *sigh* She thought to hersellf, reaching for another one of the glasses.

OOC: Jeez, Maxy. Talk about angst. >_> Oh and Ally, I'm waiting to be taken advantage of. lol
IC: Something felt...weird about the girl's response. And although he couldn't quite place it, it kept nagging at Levi. Trying his best not to show it, he tried focusing on the conversation. Either way, she had passed his small test, now he was interested.
Soon after the bartender dropped by and served their drinks. Lifting up one of the small shot glasses, The redhead raised it to his lips and downed it before placing the contained back on the counter. He was going to take things slow tonight and enjoy the music, the buzz, and the company as long as they would last. "Ah, nothing too interesting. Working out, fighting, video games, stuff like that," The Pillar responded.

((ooc: Aww *huggles Max* And Ryu, I'm working on it xD))
"That's cool, though."
She said with a smile. He was right, she wasn't exactly enthralled in the same interests as him, but that didn't mean that they still couldn't have a good time. People didn't need to have the same favorite pasttimes to get along. They both liked partying, and drinking underage...on second thought, that probably wasn't a good thing. Oh well, he was a cool enough guy, and pretty cute.
She shifted on the barstool, her bare knee brushing up against his. Oops, her bad. She swirled the ice around in her drink before taking another sip, indulging the slight burning sensation as it went down her throat.
She cast a glance at the woman next to her. She wasn't really paying attention or anything as she had her own conversation to attend to, but she seemed a bit upset. She wasn't sure because she was simply speculating, but whatev.

A potential new gig. Gotta love it. Asied from the countless hours basically whoring out his DJing skills to whoever paid him. Scraping the bottom of the barrel to get up in the world. That was what the American dream was all about, starting with nothing and coming out on top. Or dying while trying. If Atticus had a motto, it was "Die Trying". And the way things had been going at school, he certainly seemed to be doing just that. Faust, Bastion, and even a couple of pillars couldn't stand to see his face or hear his words. Hell, he had doubts that Asiv himself could tolerate Atticus' face. Oddly enough, it had been a face that was looked at as an underground idol of infamy. Less than a month in the school, and he had already caught the attention of so many people, and not just love-sick girls either. There were so many people that wanted to kick his ass, yet they never did, thinking of themselves as 'above' that, when the teachers had no reservations about taking out freshmen, trying to establish an oppressive sense of authority.
So it was understandable that anyone would want to immerse themselves in the underground. To drown their worries, hatred and pain with a few shots and hypnotic music. That was why Atticus still existed. He was trying to get everyone to loosen up, and realize just how tense they had all become. For whatever reason, he moved people to act, to break the repetitive, boring day-in day-out routine that did nothing but build up frustrations and anger. Tonight, he was going to do that with his music, instead of his words. He'd make them forget that they had ever been miserable, as they just moved to a rythm that was all his own. In a way, it was control, but he used that control to liberate, to cause change. That's what he loved most about stepping up to the tables.
Over the month, he had slowly changed up his DJ costume until it was what he wore tonight. The stripes in his hair were jet black, instead fo their normal purple. After a little plastic work, he now had a full black visor covering his eyes like a blindfold. But this one had a white cross, stretching from each end of the visor, both top to bottom as well as left to right. There were also headphones attached, large white ear coverings with a white band running in between them over the top of his head. The band fromt eh visor kept his hair swept back, so that it all pointed to the rear in a wind-swept kind of motion. Keeping the black vest, he now had a white long-sleeved shirt underneath, and black fingerless gloves. With white slacks, and black work boots, he finished off his two-tone look quite easily. His dogtags were also left to hang freely from his neck, instead of being confined under his shirt and vest.
All he had to do was get in touch with the owner.
