OOC: Mitsuki's Job thread. Tryin' to earn some money here. (:
The laces of the Rollerblades were tightened after the young red haired girl slipped her feet into them. It had been a while since she's been roller blading, but it was still a fun "sport". Well, today she wasn't going to be roller blading for fun, but for a job she had. She was inside the Employee Lounge at Pizza Hut near the back on a couch, getting ready to deliver pizza's through roller blading for the Halloween special that was running through September through October. So far, Mitsuki had been the only one to sign up, and she gave a small sigh. It would be tiring, since so many people ordered pizza's on Friday nights, but this would be easy money she was making. For every pizza she delivered, she got around $15, and because she didn't look to be fourteen, well, she didn't exactly get the minimum wage.
She wore a black hooded sweatshirt with the words "HITMAN" written on the back. It was a new sweater, so no one would know it was Mitsuki working. Especially since she would have the hood on, covering her red hair, and the white plastic face mask with holes near the mouth, and black eyes to cover her face. Still, though, she kept her own mask underneath it, because she felt odd without it. She wore black jeans that covered the laces of her Rollerblades, and she had black gloves on over her School Captain Studded gloves. She stood up and pulled the hood of the sweater over her head, then placed the mask neatly over her face, fitting her perfectly, and before she was about to exit the room, the manager came inside with a bunch of kids behind him. It looked like children signed up after all. She was about to pass him until he handed her a belt, that had a plastic knife hanging loosely to the side, and she pulled it over her head as the belt loosely limped at her waist.
"Hoy! G'it this pizza down by tha harbor, will ya? Tha address should be on tha box. Ya have 'bout fifteen to twenty minutes to g'it down over thar, so I reckon ya should hurry up."
Mitsuki only gave a nod before taking the box of pizza into her hands and exiting the door in a flash, pumping her legs as she glided and slid down the streets of California, dodging back and forth from the scrambling people that went one way or the other. The breeze was certainly nice, even though the girl could barely feel it, the wind seemed to have slipped through the holes of her mask and refreshed her face. This was certainly a job she would enjoy. Her eyes darted back and forth - everything was shaded to a black color because of the tinted glasses that came with the mask, and she looked back and forth, looking for the proper house. Now that she was down by the harbor, she went into the neighborhood and was on the sidewalk - she was sure that didn't take any longer than ten minutes. The address number she had to find was 6014, on South Ripley street, which was near where she was.
Finding the house, she slid up the black top where a car was parked, and went up to the door, ringing the doorbell and waiting patiently for a person to come out. When someone did though, Mitsuki was welcomed with a scream and the door slammed on her face. For a moment, the masked girl had forgotten she looked like a killer, and sighed mentally before ringing the door bell again. Hearing a bunch of laughter in the background, the door opened slightly and a girl around her age blushed and rubbed the back of her neck, handing Mitsuki a twenty dollar bill, thanking her, taking the pizza, then closed the door again.
Now, you'd think the reactions would be the same with every person. Wrong.
The person after the first girl was a boy slightly older then her, who tried to punch her in the face if it wasn't for her fast reflexes, and the fact that the wind blew and slightly shifted Mitsuki backwards with the Rollerblades on. The third guy just stood there and stared at her, and ended up laughing like a maniac when she turned around to leave. The fourth one she went to ended up being a party, so she had to go with a group of children who roller bladed with her to the house, each carrying around two pizza's, while Mitsuki held four, and the father of the house ended up calling the police. Hah, it was quite an amusing thing to see the grown man turn red when he found out it was just a bunch of students delivering pizza. Sad? It all depends on how you thought of it. What would you think if a masked stranger came up to your door with a pizza box in their hands?
That was only day one.
She wondered what would happen tomorrow...
