OOC: Stats are in effect, as this is a stat-based board, but can be used as more of "guidelines" rather than strict adherence. Those of you with monster stats (any stat over 60) are required to play your stats this way. Don't brutalize your opponent, or act like punches don't effect you. Loose Guidelines. Qi is deactivated. I'll be watching. This fight ends December 15th
IC:
A man stood in the ring, a mic in hand. You are in the back, prepping for your role in the ring.
Asiv is in nothing but shorts, barefoot, and Silk has shorts and a sports bra on. The ring is circular and outside, surrounded by a mass of mean looking men, who, if you are thrown out, will proceed to beat you into unconsciousness. Oh, and you'll lose too. So don't fall out.
You hear the announcer start with your name...and whatever theme music you decide to have play as you walk out.
POST YOUR ENTRANCE, AND FIGHT.

It took her a while to decide on what she was going to fight in. When she was finally told what she had to wear, well she wanted to wear something else just to piss off people. Though the part of her that hadn't fought in a long time demanded that she just wear the fucking shorts and top so that she didn't look like a fool more so than she thought she would. It was different not having Aiko or Bandit fighting with her. The two pets had been at her side for everything, always willing to be thrown into the middle of everything just as a distraction. She left them at home though. Thought it was best if she relearned all her fighting skills on her own for a bit and did what she could to shake the rust off her fists. When the announcer called her name, the tanned woman looked up. No contacts, just brown eyes stared around at the angry looking men outside the ring. Her once all silver hair was now black and slowly faded into silver as she hadn't really been keeping up on the silver dye. Her hair was pulled back into a tight bun so it couldn't be used against her too much. Her theme song though made her real happy. Everyone could probably see her crimson painted lips part as they curled into an almost sadistic looking smile. The song seemed fitting for her mindset and it had been stuck on replay in her head for a while now. She walked out quite cocky for someone who didn't really know her opponent. Approaching the ring she easily jumped up onto it, her bare feet hitting the floor with a gentle thud. Since Marcus had been injured, She'd been taking care of him more and that meant trying to take care of herself as well, so she gained back some of the weight she had lost from before. She didn't look so emaciated anymore and was starting to fully look like her old self. She did a quick little back bend in the ring just to stretch out and make sure she was ready. There was no telling the person she got paired up with. Still, she was pretty sure she'd win. She always had before. No real reason for her to think anything different would happen now.

Asiv was smoking a bent cigarette in the changing room, sitting on a bench and leaning against the dented lockers. He simply wore the fighting shorts and wrapped his wrists with bandage tape. His messy green hair probably made him look younger than he was. A large scar on the direct center of his chest like he had taken a grenade was visible, he didn't like showing it, but rules as it where. His brown eyes looked up when his name was announced. Flicking the cig away he'd get up and begin to walk out to the rythm. His motions having no real purpose except to make it to the ring somehow. Asiv didn't care to look tot he crowd or the angry bastards waiting to lay a beat down on someone who fell out. No he looked to the woman across from him with no real emotional facial expressions. He simply shrugged and turned a little bit, bending his knee's slightly and raising his hands in a loose mock boxing stance. "Lets have some fun."

Her opponent's name was announced and the music for him blared. Silk had to admit, she liked his song too. It seemed pretty fitting for the mindset of their little fight. Her eyes cast on the man walking towards the ring. She blinked a little. Green hair? Who was she to judge? She had silver since she was 15. When the man got into the ring and took a boxing like stance saying that they should have fun, a happy smile curled over her lips.
"Most definitely. No hard feelings when I win though, okay sweety?"
She offered up a playful little wink and cracked her knuckles as she took a more aggressive kick boxing stance. She bounced on the balls of her feet still smiling happily. Silk had gotten used to baring the two bullet scars on her right arm and left leg. She waited till the announcer said they could start and despite the fact that she felt patient, she looked anything but. She kinda seemed a little too excited and it didn't help that the moment they were told to fight, she launched into her attack mode. That happy look on her face vanished into nothing but focus. Fists clenched and body relaxed she sent a duo of spin kicks towards Zack, one right after the other with no pause between.

Asiv couldn't help but laugh a little. The young woman had fire at least and confidence. It was nice to see even in these times. Though he knew the person behind the veil of confidence and the history of herself, her pets, New York. It was so simple when you had agents in place asking simple questions around a high school. Her threat level was barely over a four, never going much further than gang violence. He felt bad in a way, all that skill being wasted the last few years in hiding. Oh well.
She was anything but slow, and at least knew how to attack, most people just sit around waiting for something to go down, Asiv put on the show of keeping his guard up as both spin kicks found their marks. The impacts where nice, but there was no intention of doing any real harm behind them, as the second kick came across Asiv would spin with it dropping low to sweep the girl's knee. He would toy with her as long as she toy'd with him.

The spin kicks landed and the man made an attack of his own, sweeping Silk's knee.
"Oh shit!"
Silk shouted with a bit of a laugh as her leg buckled and down the woman went. She hadn't expected that. It proved how rusty she was. She used to be able to see an attack from a mile away. She fell onto her buttocks but didn't let that sweep stop her movements. Her legs lashed out, ankles meaning to wrap around the man's neck. For her this was just a friendly fight. No ones lives were on the line and she was fine with that.

If only this fight had more poooooosts *glares at leon*
Silk: nice! Landed a blow early! I enjoyed reading the fight, of course, but I especially love her smack talk. Reminds me of the good old days. Landed a solid kick early on, accentuating fighting expertise against a great opponent! Well done!
Zack Asiv: you didn't post enough! You took a blow early, and though you got in the leg sweep it didnt damage much. It left an opening that could (and should) have been capitalized on- but you didn't reply for five days. Too long, man, too long.
Review: all in all, you both were pretty evenly balanced. Both took a hit, though one was more damaging than the other. I would have loved to see more to this fight. One of you took a Lon time to reply, though, which had to be factored in.
Winner is Silk Sanada. Congradulations! See you next round!
