It had been more than two years since the fall of Public High School 259. The Crows and the former Dragons--then consisting mainly of Areon Fury and his followers, though he too was a Zero-- had fought alongside Zack Asiv and the other students (some of them decidedly NOT students) of 259 to defend their beloved school against Sean Barker and his Experiments.
Ultimately, there had been no way to win...not with what Barker had in store. Or that was what they thought, at the time at least. They had no way of knowing there was someone else behind it all. They had no way of knowing just how far a demented mad man would go to see the rebellious students crushed beneath his heel.
Areon Fury, the last of the original Dragon gang fell in the ensuing chaos. 'Unfettered' barely escaped with his life; 'Teal' was thought to be dead. And yet, that was the very minimum of the losses, compared with the millions of lives decimated world wide.
No one could claim that a victory, or even a valiant stand; there was only Barker, and it had been that way for years.
Delilah Black hovered beneath a fallen nook, watching the rubble of her old school closely. Tengu were situated at various points around the perimeter as well, all well hidden and camouflaged with mottled grey clothes. This was recon, and they had been at it for weeks, taking individual shifts. Now, they wanted to see everything all at once from every angle. The school would be far better defended than any of the other territory being attempted to be taken in the South...or so she reasoned. Delilah had doubts of how high a priority John Strike had made 259, or even the defense of his 'land' considering his goals, but one never knew.
They needed to know what they were getting into before they took the land back from the man who deserved it least.
In utter silence, Tengu and their commander would watch and observe.

Stats of Tengu :
Crows:
Tengu Squad:
Strength: 10 -> 15
Dexterity: 10 -> 15
Constitution: 10 -> 19
Intelligence: 10 -> 15
Wisdom: 10 -> 15
Charisma: 10 -> 15
*Similar to Wolfpack, Tengu squad however had comparitively more focus and is specialized into a very small, very specific group of individuals. While not quite the status of Special PNPCs, Tengu Squad have been given a special amount of attention that the mods agreed would allow them the retaining the full effects of John Strike's training, as well as a +3 that Gemmy would be allowed to assign. She chose to focus purely on constitution... and so it is thus, for these increasingly irreplaceable numbers of this Squad.These stats aren't actually updated. Tengu should have a little more under their belt, but for the purposes of what we need it for here, we will use the above stats.
