So, My Eye Hurts (Mathew/Open)

[Mathew Amtrum]

Barker would hold up his hands and take another step back to keep Leon away from him. If it was Pink Eye he wasn't looking to get it.

"It should be treatable, but the majority of hospitals would be under Midgar control at this point."

He said with a small scowl.

"And I wasn't that type of Doctor..."

Looking at Mathew Barker would continue.

"I would suggest quarantine."

[Mr. Kaar]

Leon would follow Barker's sight.

"WHY ARE YOU LOOKING AT HIM! I'M GONNA FUCKING DIE! Or worse I'll rapidly age like Mathew!"

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Hey fuck you!"

Mathew replied giving Leon a shove from behind toward Barker, who had to nimbly dodge out of the way. He didn't want to get infected.

"Only reason I'm like this is because I'm not being a pussy and making you age up. Ass."

[Mr. Kaar]

Leon would stumble forward. Turning around quickly.

"Hey, I'm going to FUCKING. DIE. Don't put this shit on me when the Pink Eye virus is threatening my life! We have to find a cure before it spreads."

Leon would look around.

"We need to watch World War Z, there must be a clue in there somewhere. I might be patient zero."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"I've never seen that movie. But if you are patient zero shouldn't we kill you before the virus can spread?"

That sounded like the logical thing to do. But again, he had never seen the movie. Probably because the world had been a wasteland for the last two years, and he got kicked out of the movie theater last time he went for beating the crap out of a manager. Just because Mathew decided the movie he was in was shit and sat through a different one. The Manager obviously had it coming.

"So who wants to do it?"

[Mr. Kaar]

"Lets not get over excited, if it is a virus, damaging me can effectively spread it."

Leon would then look at Mathew.

"And you pushed me... With your hands."

[Mathew Amtrum]

Mathew held up his stone hand. Totally ready for this.

"Yeah, I pushed you with my stone hand. Totally fine."

Yup, totally fine.

"You should head to the Pharmacy or something. Maybe they can treat you up. Cause I'm not a fucking doctor."

[Mr. Kaar]

Leon would give Mathew a dead pan face.

"I thought you weren't injured?"

And after that he'd started to get frustrated. The whites of his right eye began to turn black.

"Fine... Guess the sooner the better..."

Though his vision started to get effected, it was like... Mist rising around everyone in different colors then it would go away.

"And if it isn't pink eye?"

Symbols would slowly begin to form around the eye.

"Hold up."

Mathew holds up a hand as Leon's eye starts turning and changing. His brows furrowing. That didn't look like pink eye... he would have expected it to be more pink.

"The fuck is up with your eye?"

[Mr. Kaar]

Leon's iris would turn a gold color with a white circle as streaks of blue skattered about from his pupil which was now the same sapphire blue.

"More than that... The fuck is with this view?"

Leon would scan about the room with the new eye and check out everyone's Aura, catching colors, emotions plain as day, and some sort of substance within their chests. like their hearts except... Each was a different color from red to blue, and even a grey...

"This is too much like video games I used to play."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"What do you mean?"

He didn't see what Leon was seeing. Everything looked normal to him. But Leon's eye. And watching it morph like that was fucking weird. And it was only one eye even.

"Wonder why it's only one eye."

He was both tempted to try and touched it, and horribly grossed out by the mere thought of doing so. Straightening out he took a few steps back.

"Still itching?"

[Mr. Kaar]

Leon would explain what he saw to the others.

"I think, and follow me with this one... That I can see your aura's... Like your emotions, the fact your alive, and if my understanding of basic color coding is correct... Your purity or corruption."

Leon would reach up and feel about his eye.

"No, it doesn't itch anymore... Why does it look different?"

Leon asked noting Mathew stepping away.

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Oh yeah."

It looked different. And purity? Corruption? Emotions? Maybe, maybe not. He didn't really know how Leon would know that's what he was seeing. Even if that was what he was seeing.

"Alright, then what am I feeling? What's my purity?"

[Mr. Kaar]

"I can't tell the flow of the... Mist? Its rising slowly, but spiked at the edges... Is that a kind of calm caution? The color coding however... That's a little more blatant on the other hand... There is this spiked ball in your chest, its black and cracked all over and the cracks glow red... I'm going to guess pretty corrupt."

Leon would look at his own hands... Yet he saw nothing.

"But I don't see anything coming from me."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Sheesh, you make it sound like I take bribes or something."

No one has ever tried to offer him a bribe about anything. How lame is that? Despite himself his hand rose up to his chest, almost like he expected to be able to feel what Leon had seen. But of course he couldn't.

"Maybe you don't have a soul. Or maybe it just doesn't work on you."

He paused a beat.

"And seriously. What the fuck is up with only one eye looking all creepy and shit?"
