Round 2: Player 1 vs Raikotsu Sudeki

Welcome to Round 2!

Now that the fodder has been whittled out, we are on to the good stuff!

You will note that the ring is no longer a ring- instead, you are on a docked container ship in the bay- giant metal containers are around you, and various other tools and hoses are little red about. The crows stands on top of the front and back of the ship, shouting down Into the veritable arena made for you!

Make sure to have your players enter from off-ship, walking up the ramp to your new fight zone!

READY PLAYERS, AND FIGHT!

Rai would be more comfortable this time around being used to the Qi nullification field. He would stretch and prepare for the fight ahead warming up a bit. Then he would walk out the door and start climbing the ramp to the ship. His song playing in the back ground he ignored the people whooping and cheering, he didn't need their distraction. He was focused on the here and now, he had never heard of the person he was about to fight before and as such was a little tense. But who knows what may happen. He stood on his corner of the arena and waited.

[Player 1]

Player 1 saunters up the ramp with its intro music playing, dancing a bit as it does. Is intro music playing? We just don't know. The Scout Supreme is wearing a t-shirt and shorts, a major change from the raincoat that seemed glued to their person. Exposed skin is weird! And pockets, where are all the pockets!?

We just don't know.

What we do know is that there's some new guy and... crows? CROWS?! Oh man! Player 1 jumps up the last of the ramp, planting its feet before walking over to the other guy, hand out and ready to shake.

"Hi! It's okay if I check out those birds once we're done, right?"

Player 1 kind of had an idea why it was here. Kind of. If it won whatever it was, Player 1 would get something nice! And that's important. Nice things are always important.

"Let's have a good go!"

Rai just watched... and watched... and watched. As Player 1 made its way around looking about the place and then talking to Rai himself taking his hand and shaking it... Still Rai just watched. Unblinking, not speaking for a few moments.

"Wh-what are you?"

[Player 1]

"I'm a person. Pretty sure. I think they would have told me if I wasn't, probably..." Player 1 says as it considers that question.

Hmm. "Oh! Were you asking my name? I'm Player 1! What's yours? You are the guy I'm supposed to be competing against right?"

Important questions. Player 1 looks around, taking stock of these hoses and tools. Neat. Neat. Very neat. Really digging the ambiance here.

Rai blinked... like a lot. But then snapped out of it and nodded his head.

"Uh, yeah right, uhm, hi. I'm Raikotsu Sudkei. It's a pleasure to be fighting with you today."

Rai took a few steps back getting into a boxing stance.

"Well guess we better get started."

Rai waved his hand insinuating for IT to make the first move.

[Player 1]

"Oh, Oh! So we're fighting! Okay!" Player 1 looks back, before hopping on its feet, turning its head to face Rai. It looks rather limber and most of all, short. Even shorter with the way it's leaning slightly, like it's ready to spring forward or away. But... Player 1 is without its tools. That integral part of its fighting style is gone. Even now it looks like they should be holding a spear in their hands or something. But, adaptability is an important quality.

It thrusts its right leg forward, going for the shin. >

Rai would side step to avoid the kick and retaliate by sweeping at her remaining leg attempting to knock her down!

[Player 1]

Player 1 does not stop moving with the kick though, as Rai kindly sidesteps out of the way.

Instead, with a bit of a boing, it leaps forward past him and away from the leg swing, scuttling in a dead run off behind Rai towards the wall and, more importantly, the hoses.

"Whoopwhoopwhoopwhoopwhoopwhoopwhoop!"

Rai was surprised by this change in events to say the least, but not stunned enough to not react. He looked down and seeing a pipe laying beside his feet he quickly reached down and chunked it at Player 1's back!

Hello~ Tanya here, at Corey's behest to judge the matches!

This fight was shaping up to be something good. I wish there was more to it. :'C There really isn't a lot to make as solid a judgement as I would have liked. What I did get to read was amusing.

Raikotsu: It's nice to see Rai's progression in trying to counter using an opponent's own move in a similar fashion.

Player 1: I think this young sprout's combat style is interesting and adaptable. I would have really liked to see what mischief It would get into with all the things on the container ship.

Result: I've got to give the win to Raikotsu, for what I saw of it. I'm saddened you didn't post more, Hope, though I understand you've been sick and you have some other RL things going on. That being said, though, this is an eight day gap and I have to be mindful of that. Perhaps you guys can have a rematch on the board and hilarity will ensue~? :'D
