"The Kraken is stronger than I am, and I would wager I am fairly close in strength to Odin."
He assumed she was mostly interested in the Gods since the Titans and the Gods had issues going way back. Or at least were convinced that they did. He was still murky on if these Gods had actually fought those Titans, or if their mutual madness was just driving them to believe such a thing had happened. He was still far to new to the scene of the Gods to be one hundred percent sure on that.

"Is that all?"
She was, in fact, interested in everyone , but needed more than that. Having one powerful ally would not be enough. Not against Kronos. Or Gaia. Or Khaos.
Or Atlas.
Or Typhon.
She chewed her lip, worried. Maybe she should speak with Strike, and see what he could offer...

"No that is not all. You gave me an example of one warrior, I gave you two. I can list at least ten allies that are stronger than me off the top of my head. Many more that are around my level or slightly weaker."
His concern with going to war with the Titans wasn't that he feared them, rather it was it was not advantageous to go to war right now with Strike potentially breathing down their necks. Though as of now they seemed to have a fair amount of freedom.
"I understand that you are concerned about a possible war. But the fact that I am not listing all of the strengths and weaknesses of our defense to someone I just met should show that I have some competence. And that I take this seriously."

She took a deep breath.
"Okay. can we talk inside?"
Not outside. In the black.

"Would you like to talk in my house or shall I take us to my base? We can even go underground to avoid you being seen if you like. It would also throw off anyone who may be following you."
Unless it was Gaia maybe.

She seemed relieved at the final suggestion!
"Like the guardian? Yes. That, please."
She seemd to not fear Mathew taking her!

Mathew placed a hand on her wrist, gripping it before tapping his foot. The ground swallowing both of them and zooming them off and away from his house to the Southern boarder of Dragon land where the Dragon bank was located. They would surface through the solid concrete floor of his office which used to be the vault. The vault door shut and sealed already as his office hours were not open.
"And no one even knows we are here."
The office was simple but enough. A desk, a few chairs, and a bookshelf with some books and charts. His desk has stacks of papers, and a lonely potted plant stood in the corner.
"I'm not used to having a visitor of your stature."
He said with a small pursing of his lips as he saw all of his chairs would be tight for her. So stomping his foot on the ground he would create a new one, larger and made of concrete for her.
"My apologies for the lack of cushion, but if you would like a seat you are welcome to relax."
He said as he took his own chair behind his desk.

She was thrilled with the ride, but only chuckled at the mans reference to her height. quite pleased with the chair he made,, she blinked a moment before taking the chair made.
"Thank you. Your hospitality is refreshig. it makes it harder to ask what Im about to ask."
She folded her hands.
"I need you to kill Kronos."

"Wow, so you are just going to dive right in. No beating around the bush."
He smirked, not at all put off by the idea. He was not a huge fan of Kronos as it was already.
"None of you're people can kill him? No mighty warriors can withstand his might? Or do you fear a civil war? An outside threat killing the ruler would open up a power vacuum and also paint the target on us."
He leaned back in his chair.
"Is that more or less right or would like like to add or clarify something?"
Still not opposed, but wary.

She smiled.
"Kronos is vain, and egotistical. He has told nobody what he did to you. Now, there is a plan for this. See there are three individuals who stand a chance in a fight against him. Atlas, Typhon and Hyperion. Atlas' loyalties are unknown as he was captured by another group. Typhon is loyal to Kronos, and Hyperion...Hyperion is the one we want to lead, and he is loved by all but Kronos, Typhon and Khaos. But he saved the life of the blonde one and was exiled. If Kronos was killed he could be called back. That brings us to you."
She leaned back in the chair, watching him a moment.
"What you say is true. the Titans would want your head. But as I said, nobody knows you were changed...or what you looked like before the change. You kill him. We...."kill" you. And by kill...I mean we will reverse your condition. And that will consolidate Hyperions power."
She waited for the obvious question.

"Or we could skip the killing me part. I'm sure you have some cultural system set up for duels or something right? I have a grievance with him, I challenge him. He refuses he looks week, he accepts I kill him. My claim makes it justified does it not?"
He didn't like the idea of reversing the curse being used as a chip. So he would offer this route. He wasn't looking for a cure for the Fates had decreed his time was already short. Thus he could not focus on caring about that, not when there was so much else to do.
"So where is Hyperion now? And I'm curious about the people who snatched up Atlas."
Because if he was as strong as she made him sound, whoever nabbed him was worth watching out for.

She shook her head.
"You can't beat him in open combat. You have to gain his trust and slip a knife in his back. Or in this case, a spear."
She frowned as he went back to Atlas.
"Im not here to talk aboutt he Skyholder. Hyperion, however...is exiled. So he is outside the wall, somewhere. I dont know where, but the blonde will, im sure."

"I am not an assassin who lurks in shadows and waits to poison a drink. I do not betray either. And no one I know who would be strong enough to topple him deals in that manner of killing either. If I fight him he will know I am there."
And that was that.
"But tell me about this spear. Why not my mace?"

She stared for several seconds.
"You find the need to kill in such a way cowardly. History is defined by the victor, Mathew. How he dies doesnt matter. That he dies does. In todays world, holding honor in a fight for the safety of friends, loved ones or even the control of the earth is foolish. Honor gets good people killed. I am not here for honor. Or for dick measuring. I a, here to find the quickest possible rout to his death. The way you want it is not feasable, and the risks outweigh the return. When you step into the wall to fight him, your stepping into a field of space that enhances the power of the Titans. He will be far stronger there, and it is there that you would be required to fight him. Add to that thef act that you are a human and he will likely see your request as measly and unworthy...well. You will not be fighting him one on one. If that bothers you, then I have come to the wrong leader. Perhaps The Crows or Experiments would find less wrong with what I suggest."
She stood.
"Our conversation must end here, if such is the case."

"Sit down."
He growled as she stood up. Annoyance and offense tinting his tone. Not just at her insulting request, like he was some tool or shadow lurker, but then the backhanded insults at his way of life.
"You already know going to them will not solve your problem, or you would have already. As you said you are looking for the most likely and expedient route to your goal. You now feel that going to someone weaker will be quicker."
He leaned forward putting both hands on his desk.
"You are a guest in my lands. You show up to my home and then you show such blatant disrespect to me. You speak of honor like it is a weakness. Opting to deal in betrayals and shadows. Be thankful for my honor or I may have decided to find favor with Kronos by naming those who conspire against him."
He clenched his jaw exhaling harshly through his nose causing his nostrils to flare.
"You ask much but offer little. No way for me to know that war will not be waged against us should I help you. No boon to entice me other than appealing to my age. You seek out the God of War to speak of assassination. I have no doubt that you wish to see him dead, but I have my doubts as to how capable you would be of planting someone like me close enough to gain his trust in the first place. History is written by the victors true, but when was the last time assassinating a tyrant ended in a ruler who was not also a tyrant? From my own imperfect knowledge of history a revolution has a better track record for real change in how things work."
He leaned back in his chair shaking his head, his own plan starting to form.
"If you want this done right then we talk. If you wish to roll the dice with someone eager to whip up betrayal and hope they do not betray you then I will escort you out of our lands. The choice is yours."
