- It had been quite a long time since the Giant had taken a role in the goings-on of the world, but it had gotten to a point where he decided he needed to do something. For all he knew, Barker was gone, and it seemed like this Midgard force was rising up to take some actual action. While he knew there were things he could accomplish on his own, he felt like he should finally fight for a cause. It was because of this he'd decided to answer the call to volunteer. He roamed through their territory, searching for an official or someone to speak to in regards to this.

Takehiro would notice the world very different from when he left it. Towns people where going about their normal lives. Grocery shopping, school, office work. Police officers of some sort, new uniform, but obviously some sort of official. Military in action. Official government buildings renamed, refurbished, and re-purposed as recruitment and training facilities.
He would actually find one of those nice buildings usually used for government work like a mayors office. The front stated "Midgard Recruiting Station: Be The Light of Mankind"

- The simple fact that people seemed to be living just fine was a sure-fire sign to him that these people must have been doing something right. So, without second-guessing himself, he'd head into the building. He'd take a moment to look around for key things to take in, people or objects of interest, and where exactly he had to go once he was inside. If it was as simple as a desk with a sign-up sheet, he'd approach and do just that.

There was a front information desk, but it wasn't as simple as signing up. He'd note three people two female and one male in a navy blue uniform looking between each other and talking, probably just office rumors as one seemed to be smiling or laughing out of the group at almost all times. When they spotted Takehiro one would speak up.
"Good morning! Welcome to Midgard Recruiting, Training, and Security Information, or M.R.T.S.I if you like acronyms. How can we help you today? If your here about an emergency, stay calm and tell us the problem."

- The Giant would nod as a "hello" to the people at the front desk and offer them a warm smile. "No emergency. I'm interested in volunteering." That was basically all it was, might as well keep it simple.

The woman he was talking to would brighten up and grab a clip board from the desk on her side of the counter, putting it in front of the giant with the traditionally crappy pen attached.
"Just sign in, take the hallway to your right, take the elevator up to the third floor and the desk there should be able to help. I'll call ahead and let them know."

- Another nod and Takehiro would do just that. A few scribbles on his fingertip to see if the pen worked, sign-in, and then he'd head on to the elevator. He'd proceed to the third floor, and from there to the next desk. Was it the same sign-in deal?

Your god damned right it was the same sign in deal, Government tracks your every move. The guy behind the counter however was wearing a Midgard Uniform (Far left). "Welcome, Amakusa. Your interested in learning about recruiting and working for Midgard?"

"Yes, sir. That would be why I'm here."
- He'd normally give remarks like these out sarcastically, but for once he refrained. No point in pissing off the people he looked to work with. "I see you've all done a good job in restoring order to this place, and I'd like to be a part of the effort."

"Oh?"
The guy at the desk would stand up and look up at Amakusa.
"Well... What can you contribute, and how are you looking to work. We have many fields of work. From medicinal practice, and military to police and trash pick up. Would you like to take our assignment test, or do you have a field of work in mind?"

"I feel I would be best suited to a work with the military, though if it would be preferred I took the test, I'd be more than willing."
- There probably wasn't a whole lot they could throw at a behemoth so he wouldn't pass with flying colors, but we'll see.

The man would nod.
"If that is your preference. We'll do the test anyways see what part of the military for you to work with. And we'll give you a list of jobs within Midgard's Military for you to chose from. Just remember, you don't have to make a decision right away. This is an important choice. We do require you sign a contract of minimum a year."
he'd wait to see if he was okay with that. Then lead him to a computer lab, where they'd sign him in and leave him to take the test.
Your Commander assigns you an over-watch position (Lookout and report make sure your team knows where to go and that they aren't going to be flanked.) They come to a fork, you can see down both roads. the right path leads to a well lit town, with minimal patrols. The left path leads to a re-purposed gas station and check point with a few enemy vehicles and patrols, but thats the only obstacle. Which way do you send them?
You find out someone in your unit is stealing equipment and taking it home to sell. Do you report him? Yes or No
Your being ordered to attack an innocent village. Do you do it, or not?
Most of your team is hurt, but your being ordered to push forward. What do you do? Explain.
Negotiations are breaking down. An argument is growing between the two sides. If those gets any worse there may be war. Do you: A. Attack first as a surprise B. Try to calm the situation down C. Run away

"Very well."
- A year contract wasn't much. It had been a long time since all the chaos began, and it would no doubt take some time to clear it up. Takehiro was okay with this, and so he would follow the man to the sign-in and begin his test.
1. "In this event, I would direct the team toward the gas station. Despite the town seeming to have minimal patrol, in enemy territory, chances of an ambush in that scenario seem much higher. It is much safer to take on a threat you can see and prepare for than it would be to fight an enemy that could be all around you without you knowing.
2. "Yes."
3. "No. If I joined to help quell the chaos, it would not do to ignite it."
4. "I would push forward, but only after insuring my injured allies' safety. If necessary, I would leave some able-bodied men with them and push on with fewer, but more capable soldiers. If the circumstances were that pushing forward would mean certain casualties, I would fall back if it meant saving the lives of the men who were fighting with me."
5. "B."
- Honesty is the best policy.

- Takehiro would walk to the man and look over his options.
"Well, if it's my own choice, I'd opt for Squad Leader."
