Leon would tease. He caught the implications of Mathews words. Leon doubted it would come to that, or that Leon wouldn't be in a position to stop it. However if it was the final only way possibility, maybe even Leon wouldn't be able to stop it.

He teased back. The Dragon perched on his shoulder and nipped at his ear. Mathew tried to swat it away.
"Gah! I am not food!"
The little Dragon snickered at him again.

Leon would laugh.
"He's still got that kind heart from his mother. When he sees real combat that will change."
Leon would then laugh at Mathew when the Dragon was swatted at.

"I hope so or he isn't going to live long. Taking care of Barker's empire is all well and good except now Strike has the world against us. So unless he defects to Midgard things are going to get hairy for him."

"I'll give him credit. He didn't stay down until he passed out. But all that meant is I made a crater with him."
The dragon clumsily tried to dodge the hand but wasn't swift enough and went tumbling to the ground and rolled. It tried to stand and pick itself up but it's knees buckled and it's head rolled around like a cartoon character who was dizzy.
"Smartass."
Mathew said to the Dragon, a hint of a grin on his face.

One versus one hundred may be honorable and badass. But it was better to retreat if you will lose than to keep fighting. Otherwise what you were fighting for may yet end up lost.
"Maybe I should give him a rematch and see how he fares now. It's been over a year."

"He hasn't improved physically... His Qi is very raw, dangerous. Mostly for him. We've been working on it for regulation purposes, but it doesn't seem to be working."
Leon would lean back and fold his arms behind his head.
"The Seikatsugan has helped, but its like the Qi he is using isn't the real one. I think he's hiding it from me."

And he didn't think that the kid had the sheer force of will to make it manifest either. Which meant he was either going to have to reach some kind of inner calm or he was going to have to have something external push it out of him.

"Just control methods. For the last five or six hours he's been balancing on the tip of a knife with just his Qi. He's got another five or six hours until I let him down. Even then when he does it its like an uncontrollable torrent of energy."

He couldn't really remember. He wanted to say black lightning but that didn't sound right. Was it black fire? No, that was Aryn. What was his fucking Qi?

He exclaimed in a totally non racist way. But he didn't recall his abilities sky rocketing. But that was probably because he was weaker than a wet paper towel. It was kind of embarrassing. But then again he was the one who had claimed LAX.
