Sure, some people trined their whole lives in the martial arts, honing their very movements to perfect percision. Each and every single moved practiced until it was instinct. The perfect melding of finesse, training, and wisdom. Which was exactly why Dimitri was standing in front of a joystick, jamming down combos to make Yoshimitsu give Heihachi a series of sword strikes to the face. Martial arts training, right there. Up, down, half-circle, punch, punch, kick. Exactly how it worked in real life too. What? That wasn't how it worked? Oh well, that's how people seemed to fight around here.
So yeah, instead of combat training like a lot of 259 students would, he was jsut chilling in the arcade, blowing quarters on whatever game caught his eye. Sadly, he didn't have the time to play Raiden or R-Type today, those took him long time, even on just one token. But there was one game that he'd have to play at least once before leaving, and sadly, it was DDR. The one machine that he had never had a high score on. Of course, he was getting there, but he still had some work to do.
Finally taking down the final boss, Dimitri wandered around the arcade grounds, looking for which game to play next. maybe Drummania, more likely Silent Scope. He was just indecisive at times like this.

I walked up behind the kid, who seemed lost and wondering what to do. I was silent, and stealthy as I came behind him, and jammed the two top fingers on each hands into his ribs. I said this with a rather large BOO! in between. I was bored, so sue me if I find such a childish thing entertaining. As he would turn around, he would see me standing there, a huge, childish grin on my face, my hair tied in a ponytail, the top being covered by an all white bandana.
"Yo!"
My white open shirt, revealed my stomach and tattoo. My light denim jeans and black skate shoes covered my legs and feet. I put my fingers into a peace sign, with the Yo. One hand was in my pocket the other was out. I was playing with my tongue ring as I often did when I was bored out of my skull. Even with the amount of games, I still wanted to verse people in them not be by myself. Man is a social creature.

((You obviously read my profile... Either that or you're in the Halloween spirit...))
"Yo!"
Dimitri freaked out for a second, as usual, while he had been contemplating his choice of game. He immediately turned around, his right fist immediately ballng up and rushing at the face fothe grinning guy behind him. It stopped short though, as Dimitri's reactions were cut off by his quick thinking. He yelled out something in Russian, which sounded something like, "Zaebis", which was actually loosely translated to "Holy F*ck!"
Coming to his senses, he let his fist down and took a deep breath. Looking at the guy, he wanted to strangle the guy so bad right there and then. But there would be witnesses, all five other people in the arcade, who had decided to see what all the yelling was about. But, with all the cursing and the scaring done, things had turned out uninteresting and they all wnet back to their games, most of them kinda ticked because they had just lost a life or two.
"Seriously man... Don't do that!" Dimitri only had a light Russian accent, thanks to a multi-language upbringing. "Don't you know it's impolite to sneak up on strangers and scare the living shit out of them?"

My hand shot out from its peace position and was put right in the path of the fist. My eyes sparkled with mirth, and mouth, well it was in a huge arse smile. I slid both hands into my poke, poked my tough out and prolonged a nyer sound. I stopped, laughed and extended my hand in a greeting."Yo~ Sorry, the name is Ken...who you be?"I waited for his greeting, I wasnt really sorry either. You could tell by my tone of voice and the expression on my face.[[ OoC - Shit post...but this about my limit of late I gave up on long posts awhile ago ]]

((I don't expect you to stick to my standard length, shorter or longer is fine by just, so long as it's a good story. I don't even expect me to keep up to my standard length.))
Looking at the guy in near disbelief, Dimitri was actually tempted to actually shove that fist into his face. Being so wound up made him want to go Tourette's syndrome and just yell something obsurd like 'F*ck! A**!" Like the old bartender from The Boondock Saints. Damn good movie, even if Russians were being capped every five minutes.
"My name is Dimitri, I'd say it's nice to meet you and all, but under these conditions, I have mixed feelings. You understand, right?" Pure rudeness on Ken's part to have snuck up like that. Since he came froma private school, he wasn't quite used to normal people. "Anyway, from your sudden interest in someone you do not know, I am thinking that you're either hitting on me. I'd doubt that. Or, much, much more likely, you're looking to challenge someone, and I just happened to be the unlucky guy who decided to back away from a joystick."

"Hmmm~ I mean your cute and all, but I aint hitting on you...not yet...but the challenge sounds like a good idea!"
I gave him a wink to show I was messing, I didnt want him to feel off put. I smiled at him, casually. Slid my hands into my pockets again and await his response...I was up for a challenge on any game...preferably a fighting game cos they were always the most fun!
"So what game?"

"What game would happen to be a very good question, wouldn't it? Now let's see, I could always make us both look like prancing idiots by having us play Dance Dance Revolution. After all, no matter how good you are, everyone looks like a crazy nut on that thing. But, I say we go for something a bit more... Competitive... Now, from the machines at this arcade, I'd have to say the best challenge game would have to be Capcom Versus SNK 2. Plenty of fighters from different fighting games, all at our disposal. Plus, it's on one of those large-screen machines, so we won't have to get any more familiar with each other than we already have."
A lot of speaking basically led down to two things. One; DDR made people look like idiots, and rightfully so. Two; They were going to be playing one of Dimitri's favorite fighting games, but it was only a favorite because it combined a good lot of fighting games already. "So, you got your tokens? You're going to need two." Dimitri held his two tokens in his left hand, which had been in his jeans pocket since he had first cashed in some cash for tokens.
"We should have time for a couple of rounds, if you feel we should go best two out of three. After that though, I have to go back to work."
