OOC: ((This bit is before the fall of the bombs, and before David left for Florida, when he still attended 259 as a college student))
David sat, legs crossed under him. He was looking up at the men who sat before him. Three of them were there. The one on the right was silent. The one on the left seemed more than a little disinterested. The one eyed fellow in the middle seemed pissed off. David, on the other hand, was collected and calm.
"There are plenty of others you could go to."
The one in the middle shook his head.
"Your company has provided us with twenty percent of our military arms. You cannot cut off that sale all at once. Each of our statehoods would become promptly vulnerable to attack-"
David brought up a hand for silence respectfully. The general, holding a cigar in his mouth, chewed on the end as he bared his teeth before removing it and standing.
"Now listen here you little piss ant, I didn't bring you here just to be treated like a fuckin' subordinate. You will show me the respect I-"
David cut him off.
"I understand your concerns. I have already stated that I will be giving you sixty days to find new sellers, of which there are plenty. While I grasp the complexity of your situation, you must recognize mine. The company was not originally founded to manufacture weapons. Through gross mis-management after my fathers death, the board placed profit over concern for the original message. I will rectify this. There is nothing to be done about it. Now, in sixty days, all sales of arms will be pulled from Blaze Enterprises export panels. I suggest you find another seller or sellers as quickly as you can instead of wasting my time with senseless appeals. Now, with all due respect General, I'll be going. If you don't like it-"
David stood and offered a smile, adjusting his suit.
"-well, you can blow it out your ass."
The generals face turned red as he clenched his fists, but too late. David had already turned around and walked from the japanese mans office. The Colonel on the left let out a little chuckle as David left.
"I like him."
The general shook his head.
"He's a pompus little shit. I'll enjoy fulfilling our promise to the board....and executing his punk ass before he leaves for the states."
The colonel let out a light, airy laugh.
"Somehow...I don't think it will be that simple."

((Present Day))
David's eyes opened.
Strange...he could have sworn he was falling asleep...he sat up, shaking his head a bit and frowning as his Qi reached out into the room around him. He was back at his old apartment, when he attended 259. Strange. He hadn't thought it was still standing, as it was barely a block or two from 259, and many bombs had wrecked that place.
Stranger still, he had fallen asleep in his bed, in the mobile Dragon base.
So...why was he here? What the hell...was going on?
He sat up, pulled on his pajama bottoms, and would move to turn on the light.
