Family Ties

[Kyrie Blaze]

Kiyr's expression eased into one of sympathy.

"I miss being able to run and stretch my legs. I miss the gardens and the smell of rain...but we will have those things back."

Even if it was on a different planet, even temporarily. Ceres couldn't support them forever, though while she was here...it would be a good idea to allow her to refuel, so to speak.

She glanced back, now that there was something going on, and smiled, turning back to August.


Einrik laughed, completely unperturbed by David smacking his hand away.

"Don't say that shit too loudly or she'll beat your ass."

[David B.]

Now it was Davids turn to snirk.

"Just kuz she bent you over and spanked you, doesn't mean she could with me. You know for a fact that I'm in a different class."

He turned to his men, likely putting their banter on hold.

"Alright guys, settle down. You can all pick a seat, rest up. We'll probably see battle while we're down here so...be glad you brought weaponry."

David turned to Kiyr.

"Care for a walk?"




August nodded at Kiyr, saying "me too" before David checked in. Then it was time to get his fellas in order.

Einrik just smirked, letting David think he was the toughest thing since stale bread. He'd find out the hard way that Eos and Hyperion were in classes all of their own. So the Titan waved the words away before glancing at Kiyr as David called her for a walk...

...Gods be damned, he could have gone with Eos, anyway.

He frowned, but, knew he'd chosen right...regardless of what his body thought.


Kyrie nodded with a light pat to August's shoulder before turning at David's raised voice. Some of the Skyforce flopped to chairs, others went back to the conversations they were having when David finished. The blonde turned, blinking, and nodded.

"Okay."

She glanced at Einrik and flicked her eyes at the Skyforce and was satisfied with the Titan's nod...though she saw his eyes trail the way Eos had left. She allowed herself a faint smile before stepping lightly over to David.

[David B.]

David glanced at Einrik, whom Kiyr had looked to for a moment.

"He can come along, if you'd like."

Whether Einrik did or not wasn't a concern to him. He would be saying the same thing either way. Starting off, he would take a right, heading the same direction Eos had gone...both to get some privacy and to explore these underground caves a little more.

"While we're down here...I thought I might head to the facility Olesya at...the ARC. Just to...fill in the gaps."

Among other things.

"Has Hyperion told you how long he plans to stay here?"

Kiyr slowly shook her head. She would be fine with David, and Einrik knew it. So she trailed after him for a moment before pulling up to his side. She blinked, listening without interruption...and nodded after a moment.

"Okay." In her mind, there was nothing else she could really say to it. It was a mixed bag that came with things, but, she wouldn't stop him, regardless of how the visit went. "Keep in touch with Ceres if you can, when you do go?"

She shook her head at the inquiry.

"I do not know, but I would imagine that will be something we will be discussing tonight?"

[David B.]

David frowned.

"He doesn't seem the type to stay put for very long. I wonder what he plans, exactly...."

David, unfortunately, hadn't been here for the parts about going to fight at the wall, so he was just going off "Hyperions hiding in a hole like we are" mentality he was growing in to.

[Kyrie Blaze]

"Einrik has a sister who was taken...I am not sure how long ago. Ceres located her inside the Wall. Scene spilled the beans on his sister. I told Hyperion and Einrik about Emily's whereabouts, and with Themis being taken by Khaos as well...he plans to attack them."

She filled him in on everything that had happened after her arrival after that. Well. For now, everything aside from Scene foretelling her death. She would tell him that later, in the sky if that was what it took to be alone.

[David B.]

David paused in the hall, expecting her to stop and either look back, or stop with him.

"He plans to attack the wall?"

He furrowed his brows, a little confused.

"How?"

Kiyr would indeed slow to a stop and turn to look up at him.

"I do not know. Though Gaia...is siding with Hyperion, she may still put up a fight to keep up appearances."

[David B.]

Understanding came to his eyes.

"Ah. No...if shes siding with him, she'll probably just drop the wall, right? Would make an attack overwhelming, i think."

[Kyrie Blaze]

Kiyr nodded.

"Indeed." She continued. "I would assume Hyperion would use the light to get to Khaos before anything else happened once Gaia brings down the wall."

[David B.]

He nodded.

"Will probably attack in the morning. Give him the most time to fight."

He chewed his lip.

"I'll have you get August back up to the ship. Call up the army. Four hundred men. We're marching with Hyperion, if accepts our alliance."

[Kyrie Blaze]

The blonde would nod.

"Of course. As soon as Hyperion agrees to our alliance, I will get August and we shall do just that."

She blinked, glancing up at him a moment. She was feeling fairly at ease, and relaxed.

[David B.]

David would keep walking, before-

"Tell me about him. His people. Eos. Einrik. I want to know what you know."

Because she knew far more than him, and he wanted to make sure he could have the up and up on the man and his people.

Kiyr would keep pace.

"To be honest, I only know as much about Eos as you do. Einrik had not mentioned her...probably because he missed her and did not want me to be concerned about the fact he and the woman he loves are separated." She shook her head. "The Titans as a whole are resolute. Some have a grudge against the Greek Gods, like Kronos, who sought to use my soul to get my grandfather and access through him to Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. Kronos, the first king out of himself and Hyperion...I do not know terribly much about him, save that he thirsts for vengeance and wishes to dominate... Khaos is as his name suggests. He saw through the invisibility move when I made it seem like I would run and drew Hulda. He wanted my soul...for himself, I would think, though Kronos wanted him to extract it for his own end. It might be possible to pit the two of them against one another, I suppose.

"Gaia...is of the Earth and seems matronly and caring. I was intrigued at my conversation with her, and she was the one who ushered me in to the Wall at Kronos' behest. Hyperion...was the one that saved me from Khaos after I had fled, and took me to the cave he had within the wall. He defended me...for no more reason than that the light of my soul was like the sun, a fire that burned brightly. He was exiled for it after Khaos caught me near the wall and tried to trick me in saying he had defeated Hyperion and held his soul. It was the soul of an innocent...as he could not best Hyperion in battle. The Titan of Light...is a Warrior, through and through. The best of the Titans, and before he helped me he was Lord Commander of Kronos' armies."

Kyrie would take a breath and look up, then back away, slowly.

"Themis...could see into the future. She was the one that had given the ring I bear to Hyperion to give to me. The ring that Damien had given her. She told me, once, to not give up hope..." The blonde shook her head. Themis had never deserved what she had been given by Khaos. And then there was the matter of Scene reportedly being there. But she continued. "Hyperion loves her without end, but...he could not have made a move to overthrow Kronos before this point. He needed to gather his strength. When Hyperion told me about Themis...he gave me his Titan Circle...to protect me from Khaos, I thought, then. But I also see it was to protect me against the Puppeteer. That was also when he gave me the ring."

She looked up, but didn't finish the thought: so he couldn't readily use her to get to David.

"Einrik...is rash. But unfailingly loyal, even when he makes snap-judgements and acts on them. When I saved Gregory...I tried to use the shadows to take me away from the area that Strike's men were suddenly swarming to for all the noise our fight created. It turns out I teleported us to Brazil, to these very caves, without knowing how I had even accomplished it. Einrik was the one that first noticed me. And he noticed I had Hyperion's Circle. He accused me of taking it, that I was a thief and might have even taken Hyperion's life. He would have roused the Titans in the cave enough to kill me, and Gregory - who was unconscious, still, at the time - had Hyperion not arrived. He defied Hyperion, saying they could not trust me - in fact he used 'this ant' in reference to me plenty of times - with their safe location. After Hyperion sent me to the doorstep of...my home, Einrik showed up. Hyperion exiled him and told him he would be whatever I wished him to be. He is not to show his face to the Colossi on his own. And if I should die, or if I had turned him away on top of that, his life is also forfeit. He has a good heart...but he can jump to conclusions too easily. The loyalty he feels towards me mirrors that which he still feels to Hyperion."
