Family Ties

[David B.]

He chuckled again, standing.

"No. When you see it you will know."

Like when she caught him and Kyrie snogging. He started for the door.

"I assume we are done here?"

[Arianna Barrial]

The subtle frown became quite pronounced.

"David." She didn't appreciate the game of cat-and-mouse. She blinked slowly. "...fine, keep your secrets."

She'd already given him warning enough.

Her head tilted.

"I don't know~ I haven't given you the full work-over, mister antsy." A sliver of a smile cracked her lips. "I got sidetracked."

She could assume he was just fine, but all the same...

[David B.]

He rolled his eyes.

"A full work up? C'mon I feel great. Better than ever even."

He was trying to get off easy...but he doubted he would be so lucky.

[Kyrie Blaze]

The two would note a sudden trail of light beaming in across the floor, if David hadn't been notified by the dutiful Ceres already. It was quickly accompanied by a set of light, rapid strides as Kyrie slowed from a run to a very quick walk.

She blinked at finding them both in the same spot, but didn't hesitate.

"I need you both—I upset Damien and he keeps brushing me aside and...snapping. I do not know what to do."

She looked at both of them, brows drawn together and her expression clearly worried and a little pained at not being able to help fix the wrong she had inadvertently caused.

"I'm not letting you off the hook just ye—Kyrie?"

Arianna hadn't noticed the lights. But with her sister's expression and words, she glanced at David. They'd continue, but after. Her priorities had just been rearranged.

"Where is he?"

[David B.]

David frowned- Before turning to the hall that Kiyr just emerged, smiling at her as she walked up.

"Hey-"

He would glance at Arianna and follow them, but ask Kiyr:

"There might not be a point in tracking him down. If he doesn't want to be found he won't be. What happened?"

[Kyrie Blaze]

"...I told him about Khaos taking Themis' soul. And that Hyperion had given me this ring. He...said he had originally given it to Themis. And...what happened after." Not something she especially wanted to go into with her sister there. She took a breath, scrunching her face just a little. "She...had kissed him for it. He went to Hyperion...who beat him and left him where he fell. That is the abridged version, anyway. But he took the news about Themis hard...he wanted the ring because. Hyperion had no business giving it to begin with, then when I told him I had already agreed and he could have it he said he didn't want it. He wouldn't stop."

Not likely to be found..?

Arianna frowned. And a little more with the recount Kiyr gave them, but not because of the kiss. She reached out and gave her younger sister's shoulder a squeeze to comfort her...and then turned.

Maybe she couldn't find him. But she had a decent idea in mind.

"This way."

[David B.]

And they would follow her

David frowned.

"If she kissed him, she must have known he cared about her. And the death probably shocked him. He might need time alone or...perhaps just with Arianna. Otherwise he will stick to his anger to protect himself."

It may have been a while since He spent extensive time with Damien...but that was something he knew for sure- Damien liked to be alone when he was angry. It helped him sort out his thoughts.

[Kyrie Blaze]

"...maybe..."

He had opened up to her and then shut down. So quickly she was still reeling. The squeeze to her shoulder had the muscles relaxing a little.

"...I thought he would prefer either one of you." She cleared her throat, quietly. Damien obviously didn't want to be near her right now. Much as she wanted to make sure he wound up being okay, she realized it and let her sister take the lead. "I will let the two of you to ahead, alright?"

It was difficult to not take this personally, either. But she had other things she could do to keep herself busy.

"Kyrie, you can come if you want. I know you want to fix things and make sure he's okay."

She glanced over her shoulder with a faint but reassuring smile. She didn't stop, though.

"I'm sure he'll appreciate it once he feels a little better."

[David B.]

David looked at Kiyr.

"Perhaps you should go alone Arianna. I actually wanted to spend some more time with Kiyr after my check up anyway."

He would offer a smile, but would differ to Arianna in the end, and would let her know such.

"Unless you would prefer us to come along. Either way is fine."

[Damien Blaze]

Damien punched a button on the wall, bringing up the world map.

"Please locate Hyperion for me, Ceres."

Arianna did momentarily draw to a stop at David's words. Just long enough to look between the two with a faint rise of an eyebrow.

"...okay."

She gave them a smile, far more preoccupied with Damien than being suspicious or intrigued with David's words. He was a good man. She trusted him. She turned and fled down the hall, only stopping once she had reached a particular panel to open it, hopeful.

Kyrie looked at Arianna as she turned back and gave her sister a tiny smile. Go on.

She closed her eyes after.

The last time they tried searching for Damien...

"Ceres, where is Damien?"

It never hurt to ask. And she wanted her sister to get to him as quickly as possible.

"Please show my sister the way to him."



Ceres would run a scan, starting with the last place Hyperion had been, and then his last known base. It would only take a short while before she would speak.

"Hyperion located."

A small glowing dot in gold would pulse from a location in Brazil.
