He walked back out and stared. at her.

"Alright. Maybe I'll head out and grab you some clothes. Unless you'd rather go out nude. Not that anyone would mind, aside from the women."

He would turned to look into the bedroom and call out.

"Scarlet! We're gonna go see your friends."

The tiny dragon stirred.

"Left 'em in the tree. Couldn't prowl around as a naked woman on the streets before changing." She blinked a few times before narrowing her eyes at Jeremiah.

That was cruel, given what he said and what she'd experienced with Scarlet talking about her old home and those she was friends with. She frowned, took a pull from the bottle of beer, and then got up. She was tempted to drape the shirt over the couch and shift, leave and get a head start for her own clothes. In the end she spun the bottle slowly between her fingers and stared at the empty doorway to his room.

Scarlet spoke weakly.

"Go without me, Jeremy. I do not want to see the place i loved in a cloud of death."

Jeremiah would stare into the room, wincing a little but...he was stubborn. So he didnt reply, instead walking for the table and grabbing his beer, taking a long drink to finish it off. He would sigh as he finished, setting it down and staring off out the window...in case kitty wanted to give Scarlet a talking to.

He was never good at that shit.

"I'll get the bike ready."

He went out through the front door, shutting it behind him before sticking sunglasses on his face. He'd need to get a shirt on but...might as well start the bike up first.

For the moment, Taerra simply ignored the big man. It wasn't her spot to chastise him and he'd proven intelligent enough that he could probably see he just was a major prick. She took another long pull and set the nearly-finished beer down before padding quietly into the room and over to Scarlet's little next.

She gazed down at the metal dragon, eyes gleaming. She said nothing to attempt to comfort her as words were only words and in cases like this, did shit all to restore anything for her. Instead, she gently stroked her a few times, letting the actions and her silence speak for themselves.

Scarlet would gaze at the woman, seeming cold the the touch but...eyes closing a little in pleasure at the rubs. She would watch her long and hard before opening her mouth to ask something...possibly awkward, possibly not.

"You...will you be...staying with us?"

Regardless of Taerra's answer, Scarlet would glance at the door, listening to make sure jeremiah was outside before pushing herself to her feet and stretching, like a kitten. She yawned, metal tongue flicking out before asking for more, where the big bald one couldnt here.

"You will...tell me what it looks like?"

Despite not wanting to see it...she wanted to know if...it was really true.

"Not sure yet. Maybe." She continued stroking the dragon to give what comfort she could despite not being able to change anything. She eyed the little creature for a long minute after she asked the second question. "If you really want to know. You can tell me when you're ready."

She couldn't guarantee she would be around at that point, but anything was possible. This wouldn't be a bad place to be as a sort of "home base" of sorts. Better than stashing her things in a tree.

She seemed to like that.

"He's a dick, sometimes, i know but...Jeremiah isn't terrible to live with. He would never say it but he would like it if you stayed. He doesn't...like being alone, I think. It's why he puts up with all my talking and you ripping into bags. We make things...eventful for him. It's the silence that bothers him, really..."

She looked up sheepish.

"Sorry...I'm talking too much. But....is it true you were friends with Mathew?"

Yes, she had heard. And she perked up a bit.

Finally, someone willing to talk about Dragons.

"I'll take that into consideration."

Lifting an eyebrow, Taerra gave a slow set of 'tsk'ing noises and wagged a finger slowly at the little eavesdropper, but her expression wasn't annoyed or even stern.

"Like I told Jeremiah, not friends. But I knew him, interacted with him. We can talk later. I've got to go get my crap together before we leave."

Scarlet would nod.

"Be careful. And look after the Ox."

Scarlet would have smiled if she could. What, everyone else got names except jeremiah? She was the Dragon. This woman was Kitty. So, Jeremiah was ox. It was suiting. She would hunker back down into her next, to get some more sleep.

Jeremiah came back inside, heading into his room to grab a shirt. He had some clothes for her to choose from, which he would set on his bed.

"Got these next door. Feel free to take your pick."

He got himself a shirt, pulling it on before grabbing his leather coat...waiting, it seemed like, for her to get dressed and leave the room.

My my...she wondered why he seemed to be waiting. Snirking to herself, she pulled off the shirt and tossed it over Jeremiah's head before slinging on a t-shirt and pants that had plenty of room in the leg...but a bit too short.

She wasn't put off by it, but turned and padded from the room with quiet steps. The two left in the room would hear the door open and close as Taerra stepped out into the night.

Jeremiah didnt care what she thought. Once she was gone he would turn and look down into Scarlets nest. He cleared his throat.

"Hey...uh...we'll be back soon, then, I guess."

Scarlet lifted her head and stared up at him. He put a hand behind his head, scratching, looking very uncomfortable. He was no good at things like this. She knew that. Why did she have to look at him like that? Staring at him like she was falling apart. That was unfair. He didnt mean to hurt her feelings.

"Jesus, im sorry okay. Just don't cry about it."

He turned and left the room...and Scarlet started to purr, lowering her head back down contentedly.

Once outside, Jeremiah would hop on his bike, the second seat behind him likely more than comfortable for her. Though not as glittery and gorgeous as when he first got it (There was rust, and scratches, and a dent), it was still a beautiful machine.

Once she was on, he'd flick his kickstand up...and take off.

Taerra said nothing on what may or may not have transpired after she left. She could speculate, but, it wasn't her business. She quietly slid into place behind him and took a good hold on the fabric of his shorts. She leaned against his back with a smirk, but it was really only so she didn't create more drag than necessary by sitting upright and not to tease. While she could have caught a cat nap (she figured Jeremiah wasn't going to kill them), she stayed awake and alert because there were still other people here.

Yet, she would have been fine to, as they arrive with no trouble!
