To create an item you must first purchase materials, by purchasing the material you are deciding the basic components of the item's make up. This could help you decide on what stats to give the item and a general idea of what the material is capable of doing for powers and the like. You can use two different materials to mix and match ability types, but that is for more advanced Crafters.
Base Material Components Wood - Elemental Base Cost: $750 Add-On Cost: $325
Metal - Stat Buff Base Cost: $800 Add-OnCost: $400
Cloth - Senses/Qi Buff Base Cost: $750 Add-On Cost: $350
Crystal - Qi effects/Abilities Base Cost: $900 Add-On Cost: $500
These same materials can be purchased to create Add-On's, however since Add-On's are generally smaller and meant to be equipped to base items they are cheaper. The type of Add-On you make can also effect the power of the Add-On you make. The general types are as follows.
Add-On Types Inlay - Under the surface protection, mystical effects Weave - Base Coverings stat buffing and upgrades Handle - Atk, Spd, Per buffing Wrap - Control over item, Def, Eng buff Screw - Atk, Qi effect buff Gem - Elemental Case/Holster/Cover - Ability charging, one time per drawing great damage boost. Custom - Choice of one of the above
