Melanie didn't know what to think. One second the girl was normal-ish and leaning on the table and the next she was clinging on to Melanie's shirt begging for her to get her food. What the hell? Seriously, calm your self! "Uhm... Yeah. Breakfast is really impo-" She was cut off by the girl's hysterical laughter and calling her a good friend. Wow a friend? And all I had to do was offer breakfast. Doesn't seem quite right. Ah what the hell, I can't be picky. She started to say 'thanks' but was caught off guard by the girl grabbing her sleeve and charging at full speed out of the office. "Gahh! Geez slow down it'll still be there when we get there!"
Melanie laughed nervously What is her problem? I don't think this food is that good. Her shirt almost coming loose, Melanie would do her best to keep up with Vi, almost tripping several times. Finally they would arrive at their destination. Melanie lost her balance one final time, falling flat on her face. Getting up, she's look at Vi, mildly upset. "Really? I don't think groping it like that will give you the 'Yum Yums.' Sorry." She would shove her hand in her pocket sliding it around frantically, cursing here and there. "Ah, here we are." Melanie would put in the money and ask Vi. "Know what you want? I put enough money in there to buy anything it's got."

~Mad Hatter~
In a pool of her own drool Violet was in no position to make any cognitive decisions, much less conversation. The endless pawing continued until Melanie deposited the cash into the machine like the sweet little cherub that Vi now saw her as though that wouldn't stop the waterfall of saliva running down Violet's chin. She would however take a brief second to take a step away from the machine giving it an arms length distance as any dance partner would require for that momentary lapse of air. She'd decided. Chocolate. Violet needed chocolate, the resonating yum yum that would keep her in peak fighting shape and her mood curbed to be ever the pleasant candidate herself.
F-5
Vi would press in the buttons as the machine crawled at an insects pace scrawling through her options before clasping onto the Twix par with feeble precision. Clunk Clunk, clatter. Yes it was all hers! The culmination of her day coming full circle and there was nothing at this point that she would enjoy more if not for that delicious candy in her belly.
"Ey move it pip squeek." A jostling figure would step in between her and her everlasting love placing his grimy hands into the machine's slot and recovering her bar of everlasting joy. Vi could feel the flushing light leave her cheeks and death sink in as the nearly seven foot tall, behemoth groped past the two impossible to miss before peeling back the wrapper. Crack. He'd take his victorious bite of HER candy. You fiend! Breath leaving her before falling prone caught unbelieving that someone could be so cruel.

Melanie stepped back as Vi approached the vending machine. No way was she going to get in the way of Vi and her food after seeing her drooling over the machine. She smiled to herself before allowing Vi to choose her food. This girl was awesome. Sure she had some minor issues, but who didn't. Melanie sure had her fair share.
Melanie's head snapped to the side as a voice gruff and low shoved past them and grabbed at the candy bar. Melanie was in utter shock. How could he just think he was just going to steal her candy bar. Melanie expected something to happen./ Either Vi snatching it back or... Something! But nothing happened.
Melanie nearly shook with rage. "How dare you." Her voice would be low and sinister. "You owe her a candy bar. Give her the money or leave limping." Melanie would lock eyes with the mountain of a man. She didn't care if he was stronger than she. All she cared for was fairness. It wasn't right for him to put his hands -and mouth- where it didn't belong. Her hand would slowly move to her satchel on her right. The man standing on her left wouldn't be able to see it. Her hand would fumble around until it grasped her weapon of choice: Ground Ivy leaves. He would rue the day he messed with them. Melanie would slid some out of the package and smear it around her hand until it was spread evenly, all the while gathering saliva in her mouth. If he came at her, she would quickly spit in her hand, mix the saliva with the poison ivy and smear it across his face.

Violet would perch there for a moment, having been more shocked than pushed asunder she'd fallen into a kneeling position knees formed into a squat whilst resting on her rump and palms settled in her lap. Her features turned over from that amazed sort of excitement to complete sorrow, she would beat the hell out of him and get her candy back, that was up til he'd taken a bite out of it. Tears peeked out from behind Vi's lids making her give off something of a cutesy cat face staring up in an angry yearning. The massive figure towering over the two probably was a combined height of the two or least that's how it seemed and easily twice as wide, calling him a behemoth would be generous. His tanned figure standing out against a white gi and blue shorts that gave way to massive hairy trunks.
"Bahahaha what's a lil tike like you gunna do about it!" He'd blurt out between mocking chomps of the candy bar often times spurting forth saliva imbued fragments at the pair with his close proximity. In his egoism the man would reach out to demeaningly pat Melanie on the scalp only to receive his compensation for the atrocity.
A flash of motion with the palm of her hand across his face would snap Vi to her senses. Of course through all this she'd missed Melanie's underhanded play in the matter so the entire exchange of force would look little more than a cat fight going for the eyes and gouge them out. This guy however was massive, Melanie didn't stand a chance on her own, at least that's what Vi would think to herself initially underestimating the cunning minx. In an equally swift flurry Violet would sweep from beneath her position to catch the man's ankle and with the additional joust made by Melanie the pair would topple him and give Mel additional force to smother his face in the makeshift dirty weapon.

Melanie would barely notice the girl sliding around on the floor. Her attention was purely focused on the giant in front of her. He would definitely pay for what he had done. Melanie's hand shot out to cover the slim bag's face with Poison Ivy just before Vi would take his feet out from under him, noticing the change in motion as the Goliath figure started to fall, Melanie would drive her hand down with as much force as she could muster. Given it wasn't much, but she would try just the same.
Melanie would look to Vi, the smile rapidly spreading over her face looking more like a blood lusting grin. Something about hurting the Goliath felt good to Melanie. No, more than good. It felt amazing. Something felt right about fighting. Something that was out of place recently in her life snapped back into place. She felt almost whole as if her father were still alive. Her lips would continue curling upward as she looked across her masterpiece. His face was going to swell up to three times the size it was, which was saying a lot. He would want to gouge out his eyes from the burning and his tongue, assuming he opened his mouth to holler as she wiped Ivy over it, would also swell not allowing for him to speak well. Or at all for that matter.

Violet would lead with the sweep without any real followup planned, in fact as confident she was in her abilities she really had no true desire to fight only to reequip herself with some good ol' candy but as the motion followed through Vi would find herself standing upright again with hands drawn and a truly frightening visage of whom Melanie had become. A smile Vi could only perceive as teetering on frenzied she'd watch somewhat dumbfounded as the girl mounted the giant and just shy of molestation of his face. All the man could do was wallow out in surprise at least initially as he struggled against the attack seemingly coming up short of any defense as Mel was placed firmly atop his pectorals which with luck happened to be a size too large to grapple her by hand.
Vi would institutionally leap to assist but finding herself hesitating a tad as the girl who had come to her defense became her own brand of monster lashing out erratically as the man screamed and wailed. "Get this bitch offa me!" Clamoring for help from his friends who looked to be caught in an equal degree of shock from the response given. Vi would situate herself between the pair putting up her dukes to scare the bullies off before retreating a palm into the mountain man's scalp and pulling back.
"Looks like you're all alone now." A frightening look of her own to conjoin before her features melted into an innocent smile. "Candy please..." Vi would grin absentmindedly with no interest of beating him too bad regardless of how Melanie felt about it.
Out of Character
Kind of how Vi sees Mel right about now.

Melanie watched as the other kids ran away, no doubt from the look on her face and the take down she just unleashed. She looked back down at the bully who yelled for his friends to intervene. "You should not have done that. I warned you. Next time listen and know your place." Melanie heard the venom she spit at him. I must have sounded terrifying to Vi. She would turn and look at her apologetically before watching as Vi hit the bully one more time.
As Vi donned her own mask of terror, Melanie looked back down to the bully, wailing and screaming like a bitch. Why is this so satisfactory? What is it about beating him into submission that makes it feel so good? Melanie thought. She listened to Vi's voice go from dark and insidious to sweet and innocent. She almost wanted to turn around again to see the change. Slowly, Melanie would get off the giant. He would need to reach his change in order to get Vi treats. If he tried to run away before he did, Melanie would reach into her bag and snap her whip onto his leg and pull back hard, tripping him. "You aren't leaving yet."

The man quivered at the new threat, his body overwhelmed by the dual threat now upon him, the man would stare up blankly thumbing into his pocket for the change she needed plus a little more. With Vi's hand extended he'd make his little deposit into her welcoming grasp quick to release soon as he had. As for Melanie however, he'd take this moment to make an effort to escape writhing up onto his hands and knees to crawl off. Vi would absentmindedly allow him this moment and now only encumbered by what snack decision she would vie for.
"Hmmm Twix or Butterfingers... The options are endless."

Melanie shoved herself off the baby giant to her feet. Wiping her hands on his t-shirt, she'd pull out a wet nap from her bag and begin cleaning her hand. After cleaning it, she'd pull some lotion out and cover her hand with it. No need for her to get a rash just from fighting right? The giant fumbled for his pocket, grabbing a handful of change and placing it in Vi's hand.
Melanie turned away from Vi to reconstruct herself. Who had she become back there? Why did she do that? Turning back, Melanie watched as the pig crawled away from her on his hands and knees. She liked it, she knew it was wrong, but she liked it. Looking to Vi, Melanie would offer, "I find that Twix is more of a chewy texture while Butterfingers is more crunchy. The butterfingers will last you longer because of the protein in the peanut butter, but the Twix will taste better because of the caramel. Ultimately, it's up to you." She'd offer a friendly smile, closing her eyes, tilting her head to the side and slightly opening her mouth. She'd all but forgotten about the fight that had just happened. She really didn't want to talk about it, but if Vi asked, she'd open up to her. After all, Vi knew her better now after seeing her fight than she ever would talking to her.

Violet's brows furrowed with fretful concern, her fingers pressing against one another in an impatient sort of tick as she stared with intent focus on the machine not looking Melanie in the eyes. Man she definitely let a screw loose but Violet wasn't a stranger to outbursts of rage or violence. A slight almost unnoticeable wince crossed her features as a shadow from her past entered her mind. In Vi's youth her brother had been similar in fashion constantly the first person to snap with an all too keen grin on his features as he ripped his opponent's to shreds and never once hesitating to apologize. Melanie appeared different however at least her means; her brother was impulsive he did as he liked and never sought retribution for his actions Melanie however was standing up for something of a sense of justice. Even still it turned her stomach a little, chocolate would do her some good.
"I do love caramel...hmmm." Vi would fret as she'd insert the money pressing the tabs, this time a different set of keys. "Thanks for the suggestion... I think I need the strength." Vi would turn about giving Melanie a bright smile trying to bury away all of her deep thoughts on the matter. Crunch. She'd snap into her butterfinger but not before pocketing one of the extras in her breast pocket.
"If you want some Mel I'd love to share." Vi would chime leaning into the other girl pressing her cheek against Mel's being overly chummy to compensate.

Melanie would stand and wait for Vi to finish deciding. Her smile fading back to one of gentle humor and kindness. She didn't see the wince on Vi's face, mostly because she had turned around to be sure no others would try and steal another candy bar from her. Perhaps they had learned their lessons.
Melanie would nod once and smile a bit more. "Strength is good. It will also allow you to pay better attention in class. Learning is important... My dad used to say that." Melanie's face fell. She didn't like talking to others about her father. When he died, he left a hole that would not be easily filled.
Melanie would shove the thought aside and hug the girl back. Letting go but still keeping an arm around her shoulders, she'd adjust the satchel so Vi wouldn't get stabbed by one of the burrs. "I don't really need one, but thank you. I think i'll walmk you to class and then go and grab something from the Cafe."

Vi would smile; it'd been a long time since she could be this demure and trusting to someone who seemed to share her sense of right and wrong. Someone whom she really hoped could live up to the title of friend that she'd been given. "Haha, Thank you kind knight." Vi would respond jokingly before getting back to her full stature and proceed to continue walking down the hallways to her class.

Merlanie woulld grin back. "I shall always guard my Lady" She couldn't help but laugh at the end. She liked having someone she could be friends with. Maybe Vi would listen if she told her things. Maybe.
She'd walke her to class and then head for the Cafe. What a nice first day.
