Krane was strolling in for his first day looking at the paper with his locker number on it, trying to remember the combo to the new lock he got... He didn't care. When he got there, some punks had set up shop in front of it and didn't want to vacate their spot. Krane looked to them and took a moment to think of a way to politely and friendly convince them to take a moment and allow him to drop his things off at and in his locker.
"Move."
Nailed it.
However it seemed the guys took this as a challenge and proceeded to yell at him before throwing a decent punch for his face. Krane didn't really understand what the problem was, they seemed offended for some reason to his request. However, the fist would sail, Krane's hand would move up to catch it on the top of the wrist, bending the hand down, along with the punching force, bringing his other right hand up into the elbow, he stepped to the side, and torqued the elbow a full one hundred and eighty degree's with a satisfying pop, the kid screamed and flipped through the air landing against the far wall.
Krane turned to the others and spread his feet, turning so his right side faced them, raising his hands in a mock fold in the air with his right hand angled down, his right elbow angled up. His left hand held up and his right elbow angled down. (See mini profile picture.) However they wished nothing to do with him and left. Krane nodded and went about his business at his locker.

Raina walked through the hallways extremely nervous and shy. She did not know why she was in this school. It was not her fault the teacher attacked her, she just defended herself. She sighed as she walked down the hallway looking for her locker. She was dressed in a long white sundress with a gold belt and white finger-less gloves. Hopefully, no one would try and fight her on her first day. She spotted where her locker should be and noticed the man standing at the locker next to hers. She walked up to her locker and tried her best to say hello. "Hi..... hello... Are... are you new.. here too?" She stuttered out as she blushed. She really wanted to make a friend and if they were going to be locker neighbors she might as well try her best.
The girl was cute, there was not denying that. Curves in the right places, well matured breasts and a beautiful smile. She did not appear to be the type to deserve to be at a school like this. "I'm.. I'm Raina. It is nice to meet you." She managed to say as she did her best to smile.

Krane was putting the combo in and unlocking the padlock a few times to get the muscle memory down. He however heard someone next to him speaking. Turning his head he would stare, his right eye looking her up and down for a second, while the blank white left eye seemed to not move at all, having no iris, or pupil it would be hard to tell anyways. Krane listened to her questions, and thought for a bit about how to politely respond about his current situation and name. She sounded nervous, maybe even scattered so he didn't want to seem intimidating or unfriendly.
"Yes... I'm Krane."
Nailed it, damn he's good.
He would give an empty smile, even closing his eyes with a practiced wrinkle of the skin near his eyes to try and pass off genuine happiness.

Raina smiled. He was a little awkward but it seemed sweet. "Sorry if I seem so timid. I... I do not do well socially. Do you know if this school is as bad as they say? I am a little scared to be here, I am no fighter." She said as she opened her locker and placed her bag in it. She fidgeted a little bit at the thought of fighting someone. She was a gymnast, an intellect. Not a fighter or warrior. She was a normal girl, loved music, loved gymnastics. She was not someone who could fight others to get her way.
"Are you good at fighting? I am not, sadly. I do not think I should be here really." She continued as her eyes welled up with fear and worry. This girl was too sweet to be put in one of these schools. She crossed her arms after flipping her hair behind her shoulder.

Melanie would be walking through the halls, mostly minding her own business. Now that she was a Pillar, she was tasked with helping to keep the students in line. She didn't really care if they fought each other. She just cared about it being fair. Why did she care so much about fairness? I am glad you asked. Melanie has a huge pet peeve: she HATES it when someone picks on another who cannot defend themselves. She doesn't care what the circumstances are, but it has to be fair.
Melanie rounded the corner leading her to one of the hallways that led to the lockers. Upon looking around, she would hear a loud wail followed by a thump and crying. What the fuck? This early? Come on guys! Melanie would head further down the hallway in time to see a guy in a heap on the floor with his arm at all sorts of weird angles. What the ACTUAL fuck? Melanie would shout in her head. looking around for the monster that did this didn't take long. A student stood a few feet away in a stance preparing to fight again. He wouldn't get the chance because the students he was planning on fighting ran away.
Melanie would start to walk towards him only to get cut off my a pink haired girl walking to her locker. The girl struck up a conversation with the fiend, unbeknownst to her he had done the terrible thing to the kid on the floor. Melanie side stepped and stood aside the two for a few seconds before making her intro at the question of fighting. Melanie would point at the guy. "You there, tall and handsome!" Melanie would eye the guy. She didn't let his looks get to her, she was on business. "Was there a reason why you felt you had to do that?" She would point at the guy on the ground. "I'm glad you stopped at the one, but did you really think it necessary to break his arm in three places?" Melanie would maintain eye contact, readying in case she needed to fight him too. More fighting wasn't necessary, but she would if she had to.

Seemed Krane was just a natural at this small talk thing because the female went on to ask him many other questions and speak of herself to him. He was making good time with this possible friendship when he was about to begin answering the nice young ladies questions another young lady appeared and began asking more questions. Krane was not only an expert conversationalist, but it also seemed he was popular already. He knew not how this happened, but he did know he was going to continue attempting to facilitate this conversation to the best of his ability. Looking to the new arrival, and then to the injured one from before he would consider his options of answers.
"His arm was weak."
Perfect explanation, as usual.
He turned back to Raina and nodded.
"I'll guard you."
And now to begin his first real life job. He wondered about the pay, or if there was benefits. He should look into a 401k, just in case. Maybe a union.

Raina turned to look at the girl who talked about the guy's broken arm. What guy? She turned and saw the guy on the floor and noticed his arm. Raina blushed at the man's comment about protecting her and said "Thank you." as she slid to the floor next to the injured student. She pulled some medical supplies out of a small pouch that hung off of her belt and started to make a tourniquet for his arm. She moved his arm as gently as she could and bandaged it as best as she could. She knew he would need time to heal but she wanted to make him feel at ease. She pulled a small bottle of liquid out of her bag. "This is Panacea, its a herbal painkiller and antiseptic I made. I promise you it works, will you allow me to give you some?" She said as she smiled at the man. He agreed and she moved his head to her lap and gently gave him a small dose of the medicine.
She smiled at the other two and then realized they were right there watching her and she blushed profusely as she spoke. "I've..... I have had a lot of practice with medicine and nursing. Most of my extended family are doctors and nurses, not that they are related to me. My parents were both doctors and my mom had a knack for herbal medicine as well. I hope this does not get me in trouble? I just do not like people hurt." She said as she looked down at the floor.

Melanie just stared at the guy. Did he seriously think he was funny? He was NOT funny. She couldn't believe he would just break a student like that. He didn't even have a reason. What the hell was wrong with this guy. He was just the same as all the other boys here. He hurt people just to hurt them.
"If you think I am just going to let you go around hurting people because you can, you are wrong. Unless you have something you need to grab from your locker, I suggest you leave."
Melanie would maintain eye contact. She didn't mean to ignore the girl on the floor. She'd take a quick glance to the side and see the girl taking care of the guy. "Seems you have that under control. Once you have him patched up, please take him to the infirmary." She would quickly look back to they guy after the first sentence. If he tried something, she needed to be prepared.

Krane was confused by the situation, now the guy who wouldn't vacate his locker location was being tended to. It seemed injury meant popularity. He would have to remember that. However he was still being addressed and Raina had moved. So he moved with and stood near by listening to the one who seemed concerned about his actions.
"I will leave when she does."
Krane waited, holding a single book from his locker, having forgot the combo already. Krane found her ability to aid people interesting, as he had been raised to know how to cause people pain and damage.

Raina did her best to lift the injured boy and carry him. She was not the strongest person but she knew this was in her power. Raina looked at her new friend and smiled as he refused to leave until she did. "I think we should take him to the infirmary, will you walk with me Krane?" She said as she smiled and continued to walk. As she passed the girl who appeared out of nowhere she stopped for a second and said, "I know this school has a lot of violent people but do not be mean. There is nothing wrong with common courtesy and for one thing, you never asked why he did it. You can't jump to conclusions without information. Knowledge is power." She said as she walked by.
Raina was no fighter, but she would not stand by as someone was rude to her friends. Even though she worried that her actions could get her hurt, she knew if she had to, she would fight. Not for her sake, but for Krane's. She did not want to see her new friend hurt, especially if he got injured fighting for her.

Melanie was pissed. What the hell was going on? Sure her jacket didn't say she was a Pillar, but she figured people would be understanding that she was trying to stop further fighting. He had stopped, but he could have done more. Melanie was just trying to prevent more later.
"If you are trying to avoid the question, fine. Just try not to send anymore people to the infirmary. And you, I am tasked with making sure this place is safe from people who are fighting with no reason. From those who are hurting others that cannot protect themselves. He just admitted to breaking this boy's arm in three places and you are protecting him. Seems I became a Pillar for nothing. Thank you for letting me know you have it handled."
Melanie would walk off in the opposite direction. They wanna be stupid, fine. As long as they didn't get into trouble doing it. If she got hurt because of him, it would be on Melanie and she knew it. She stopped in the middle of the hall and sighed. She needed to be sure he wouldn't hurt anyone else.
"Hey! I need your word you won't hurt anymore people without good reason. And none of this 'he was weak' nonsense. Think you can do that?"

Hmm, seemed this person was a Pillar. She was in a position of authority and had tasked him with not hurting people? What kind of task was that? He had never heard of such a thing and it confused him. However she said not to send them to the infirmary, maybe she meant really hurting people bad. No, that didn't make sense either. He couldn't let the silence hang...
"Yes."
But he wasn't sure if he even could. His father's orders still being fresh in his mind. Though he didn't care to follow those orders anymore than the pillars... Life is difficult. Or annoying, Krane hadn't figured out which one yet. When Raina wished for Krane to follow he would speak.
"Yes."
