The School Captain position has been taken and she has chosen her three Pillars.
Emily Suddenfield Is the new (and improved) School Captain here at Public High School #259. If you have an issue with any excessive bullying, Emily is the one to go to. Don't mistake her small frame for weakness. She is a force to reckon with. It didn't take her very long to find her three subordinates.
Magnum Hex, a strong capable and worthy opponent. If you want to go out for sports or just want to train, he is the one you want.
Violet Lockhart, a frighteningly capable young woman. If you have any needs regarding events, dances, fundraisers, parties or anything of the like, she is your girl.
Melanie Ross, a small yet feisty individual. If you have any issues with the school, complaints, housing, tutoring, go to her, or me. I will assist in all I can.

Melanie would post signs up everywhere., She needed people who had a yearning for Journalism. She couldn't do everything on her own, but she would if she had to. The signs had all the positions on it: Writing, editing, typing, reporting, printing, mail, responding, listening. She needed all these placed filled. Leaving her contact info at the bottom and where to find her if needed, Melanie would wait and hope someone responded. A few had called already, but she needed people who were serious, not just people who wanted to pass the time to get money.

Fortall is a teacher of science at #259. She has been a large part of the science center. 'I can't believe they will just let us run around playing at a carnival. Seems pretty cool to me.' Commented Fredrick Summers, a student at the school. 'I just hope there will still be people for me to fight when I get there.' 'I think it is a great chance to meet our leaders and see what they are really about!' Sarah Emile was quoted. 'It's a real shame they had to fight for their positions.' I walked around the room before finally sitting down at my desk to type. The conversation between myself and Asiv was odd to say the least. He almost refused to answer some of my questions. I wanted to know more, but he was like a brick wall. I didn't have the right power tool to get past.
Newsletter:Who's Your Daddy?
Who is Zack Yuenjia Asiv? Many have asked this question and many still don't know. Is he a friend or foe? Is he nice or mean? Is he married? I am happy to tell my dedicated readers that I have some of the answers you are so seeking! As some of you know, Asiv attended this school before it was closed and then reopened it here recently. When asked why his response was, "I attended this school and learned a great deal about the importance of keeping students in school in a generally safe environment... I decided to leave the school board of directors and become the Supervisor of this one." He went on to say that the Pillar system we use was new when he attended school. He also added, "While a dangerous position to have for a student, it is a far more dangerous job to not have around. I would like to think my input and work within the school board has shaped it into a more structured and reliable program." So students, be happy about your current Pillars and School Captain. While we are on the Pillar system, what does Asiv think about them? I'll tell you. "From what I can tell, the school has a bright future with them around. Before I was this school's supervisor, I participated in the test runs of the pillar system as a School Captain" Thank you, Mr Asiv. It is nice to know we are appreciated by someone. So, if any of you want to know how things went with the first trials, you know who to ask. When we asked him about his family he stated, "I am the youngest of four and am unmarried." So if any of you students think you can tame this wild beast of a man, he is single. Many of us women do think you cute, Mr. Asiv. So, whatever you are doing, you are doing it right. Maybe you could teach a few others your secrets. When asked about how he thought the school was going and what his favorite part was, Asiv was caught off guard and didn't know how to respond, only saying this: "I like the school... It runs real nice." I followed up with a few students to see what they thought of him as well. Stephanie Rice said, "Well, i don't really care how he leads the school. He's totally gorgeous!" Stormy Jefferson was quoted, "He just better make sure the football team stays up." Kayla Markson commented, "I just hope he starts a swim team with speedos. Some of these guys are really cute." At least we know the school populace likes him in general. Hear that Asiv? You might have a few girls after your number. So watch out! Thank you to my readers for staying tuned and following my newsletter. Stay tuned for the next newsletter so we can fill you in on all the up and coming events!

I made my way around the room to the copier again. This time, I had the draft right. This time i could print more than one copy. I really wasn't sure who was reading or how many, but one thing was for sure: I had a job and it needed to be done.

Invaders! Only recently have we discovered the existence of real aliens! Well, maybe not actual aliens from space, but odd things none the less! It was a normal day at lunch. The lunch ladies and gents were serving pizza, sandwiches, pasta, and veggies. The students were considering fights outside, and the Pillars and SHCP were doing what they do best, stopping said fights by fighting. All was quiet until the doors swung open and it began to snow. The tables and floors iced over, the windows frosted and the doors stuck. No escape was to be had at the hands of the Gods! One man stood alone to challenge him: The Kracken. He armed himself with his armor and his mighty sword and rushed into battle. The enemy look at him as an angry kid looks at ants. He was flung to the side and broken against the wall. His armor dented and broken as his sword lay useless at his side. Our hero was beaten before he could even attack. But whats this? What ho, a foe? Could it be a comrade has come to help our hero in battle? Emily Suddenfield has stepped to the plate. Only one line escapes her mouth before she swings a mighty fist at the intruders: You should not be here. Our heroine slams a fist into the enemy's face and down he falls. His entire kingdom falls with him as his head hits the floor. Our heroine has little time to celebrate her victory as the enemy stands back up and swings back at her. All is lost as she hits the wall. The same pattern as our fallen hero, she has fallen. She stands and attacks again with her valiant Pillars at her sides. The battle rages on. The man falls as our heroines fall. Each side would take equal loses and each side would keep fighting until a victor arose. All seemed lost as the enemies seemed to be rising victorious. Our loses had reached the maximum allowed for possible victory. Our once proud Heroine had fallen and all was lost. Just before we were to claim out failure, a glimmer of hope rose fro the ashes of defeat. A god among men rode in to save our forces and stop the chaos of battle. The enemy yielded to it's power and all was saved. Our latest victory has only shown us we have more to learn. More training is to be had. Unity is a cause we must all fight for. If we can not stand together, we will fall in pieces. If we can not lean on one another, we will die alone.

Finally, I was in the Newsletter office. My office. I had barely made it here in one piece. It seemed the ENTIRE school was going nuts over who the new school Captain was. I needed top tell my people about this. My beloved followers. I sat down at the computer and turned it on, almost jumping in my seat, i willed it to go faster. FINALLY, it was on and I could go to the word page and start my new letter.
Newsletter:
PANIC IN THE HALLS! Today the School Captain, Krane Asiv, called a mandatory school rally in the courtyard and told the entire present student body that he was stepping down and offering the chance to beat everyone and claim the spot. He had Leon Sudeki, one of our teachers, escort the people who didn't want to participate in the fight out of the way and back to class. No School Captain has been chosen yet, but it seems the fight is starting to die down. I will let you know, the second i do, who our new School Captain is as well as what his or her directives are as to how the school will change. At the moment, there are several people fighting for the position The top names are as follows:
*Krane Asiv *Andrew Black *Emily Suddenfield *John Summers *Cale Belouve *Kit Wolf *Takumi Akihito *Legend
Stay tuned! More information as it develops.

This was still my office. If the administration wanted to give it to someone else, they'd have to pry the keys out of my cold dead hands. No one could cover the things i did. No one could do anything like me. I was still Second Pillar... Right? OF COURSE I WAS! I, Melanie June Ross, am the only one capable of things like this. These delicate hands did more than combine botanicals in a hilarious and effective display of defense, aggression, and eventual victory. They wrote stories of untold glory. And now, it was the week before school was to be let out. The student body was waiting for me to tell them all the plans they could be looking forward to. All the events the school was planning... Everything was riding on me writing this column. My last testament to me followers. My final word. Newsletter: Class Dismissed!
Heads up, fellow students! This is our final week here at 259! We are almost there! Almost finished with our school projects. It's finally time for summer!!! One more week of school. One more week to show that one guy who is the boss. One more week to tell her how you feel. One more week. This is our time to shine. Finals week and then a long break. One last week to be stuck in the same boring class. "But Melanie, what will I do once school is let out? What can I do to make the summer pass faster?" I'm glad you asked, Avid Follower of Melanie Ross' 259 Newsletter. There are tons of things to do once school lets out and we have a whole 2 months to do nothing.
*Science Classes: Where we will see how long it takes to dissolve a penny in acid. Along with other super awesome finds. *Math Class: Where all you brainiacs freaking out about damaging the perfect state of your brain can relax and keep it up. *Theatre Arts: Where all you thespians can hang out and act out all your favorite scenes and maybe even do play. *Cosmetology: Where all you 'ladies' can do make up and hair or whatever it is y'all do. *Maintenance: If any of you really want to help fix the school and get it ready for smashing the new kids' face next year into a beautiful wall.
There are plenty more things I haven't listed. Check out the Admin's office for a full list of events going on near you and many more at the school! It's time for this chick to get studying for her finals. Thanks for staying tuned. Have an awesome Summer and i'll see you next year!
