Mental Information
Personality:
Remi is a girl who isn’t afraid to put herself out there and try new things. She’s ambitious and works hard towards the goals she sets for herself, and sometimes her determination can turn into outright aggression. When she sets her mind to something she hates to back down—but she’s not stupid. If she knows it’s useless, she’ll think again… Some of the time. If she has a goal she’s extremely bent on, at times she’ll push on even if success seems impossible. An example of this is, when it comes to protecting a friend or a family member, it doesn’t matter if she’s out numbered and out skilled. She wont go down without giving it her all. Remi has also applied this to her love of music, which has helped her to become skilled in multiple instruments and to build up her singing voice in hopes to be able to join a rock band someday. Remi’s easy to talk to and a bit goofy. But while she’s very outgoing and comfortable in her own skin, she’s not a chatterbox. Remi’s perfectly fine with sitting down and listening, and sometimes even prefers it that way.
Mentality:
Though she puts herself forward as a very confidant and level headed little lady, Remi feels as though she can never quite be good enough in many cases. Her constant will to achieve her goals can lead her to demand far too much of herself at times, which can set her up for failure and sometimes even self loathing. Remi's pretty emotional, but she’s good at hiding it. Not by going stone faced-- but by putting forth a different emotion to hide what she’s really feeling. For example, when she’s sad she’ll cover it up with anger. She’s reckless. has a terribly short temper, and will even take stupid dares for small amounts of money… so of course she gets into her fair share of trouble. While she can be furious with someone for a moment, and she thinks she’ll hold a grudge against a hypothetical offender forever and ever, Remi tends to forgive them if they give a convincing enough apology. This has caused her to be misused in the past, and she’s currently becoming slightly more cynical which could either be a good or bad thing.
Ideal: "Never be afraid to live. Go out and make things happen, don't dream your life away."
Belief: Agnostic
Physical Information
Build: Remi is lightweight and slender with a petite build. Small waste, small hands, small feet... fortunately she's not terribly short. Remi doesn't worry about her size too much, but it does bother her that on the occasion she gets into a scuffle, her opponent usually has the advantage of size.
Defining Marks: A phoenix shaped tattoo behind her ear, a scar across the back of her left shoulder, and her bright orange hair.
Description:
Remi is petite and toned, and usually dresses with a punkish flare. (Leather jackets, band t-shirts, crop tops, shorts/skater skirts etc.) The first thing people usually notice about her, however, is her fiery orange hair. It comes a good few inches past her shoulders, and she regularly dyes it from her natural dirty blonde color. Remi also has a tendency to wear eye liner which really contrasts against her pale skin and makes her eyes stand out. Overall her style and makeup choices make her look like a rock star wannabe. (Which is actually totally true but she’ll deny it.)
History Information
Remi was born in California along with her younger sister Clover, and spent her younger years fairly well off. Things changed when her father, who was into motocross, died in an accident and soon her family could only afford to live in a small apartment. Her mother later got involved with another man who severely mistreated her two daughters. Seeing his behavior, Remi’s mother cut things off between them and moved to Florida. Clover had health issues, and due to the man’s treatment of her, never quite seemed right in the head again. She began having panic attacks and even spouting nonsense at times.
Their mother was soon revealed to have terminal cancer, and by then, it felt like everything was falling apart for her two girls. Remi became angry, impulsive, and couldn’t seem to keep a job either, thanks to her new found talent at pissing people off. After getting fired from a barbecue joint, she found a new job as a hostess at a rather rundown restaurant. She couldn't be a waitress due to the fact they served alcohol there, but regardless, she still had to deal with drunkards and riffraff. Her impulsive way of speaking and poor choices in social situations led to quite a few fights and even moments of running for her life from customers and co-workers alike.
At one point or another she chose to rethink things and try to do what was best for her family and herself. Remi did her best to keep a positive outlook on things and to brighten other people’s days, as her sister always told her that was a good way to cheer yourself up as well. She discovered a passion for art and music, and thus began her secret desire to write comic books and be part of a rock band in the future. Aside from her worries for her mother and sister, things seemed to be okay. She had accepted the way things were.
But that didn’t last. Her mother’s terrible ex-boyfriend managed to locate them and abducted Clover. She was missing for weeks, and her mother struggled to hold on to her last few days of life in hopes of seeing her daughter once more before the end. Unfortunately, she passed away before Clover could be found. Remi was moved to a foster home, and there she was contacted by the man who’d taken her sister. He claimed that if she killed ten people, he’d return her sister unharmed. He later sent her a list of ten names, all of which were criminals that were either released, or were suspected of a crime but never proven guilty. He also claimed that if she contacted the police he wouldn’t hesitate to end her sister’s life. Desperate to save Clover, Remi tried justifying the act in her mind from the fact that the people were criminals. She managed to wound one of them, but realized she couldn’t go through with the act. Remi was arrested for assault, and once her motives were discovered the police set out to find Clover’s kidnapper. The girl was found, but the kidnapper escaped. Unfortunately, due to her actions, Remi still ended up separated from her sister. She was sent to PHS 259 instead of juvy where she remains to this day.
