General

The phrase 'looks can be deceiving' applies firmly to Cereza. Her appearance often leaves people a bit unsure of their visual assessment of her, which is exactly what she likes. She's often been described as alluring with a sense of hidden danger from many who have visually assessed her wrongfully and discovered otherwise. Yes she's been called modelesque and Cereza certainly physically fits the mold but that's not her path. She isn't defined by her sexuality contrary to popular belief. There is an exotic nature to her appearance from the slightly olive like tone of her skin to the grey colored eyes. It's said that it's a bit difficult to not find oneself staring into her eyes as they are not as common as most colors and they seem to just draw one in almost with ease. Let's not forget the fullness of her light pink lips. For certain Cereza is a girl that stands out in a crowd. [Top picture is what her hair completely out would be]

Build

With her ethnic background Cereza is a girl with curves in all the right places. Though they may come naturally they aren't going to maintain themselves. Cereza is all about body up keep and conditioning. She likes to keep herself well trimmed, toned and above all else healthy. There is no doubt that underneath her clothes is an athletic structure. She's keeps her figure, let alone her constitution up, through various activities. Some of those including sports, training and underground fighting.

Piercings/Marking(s)

Cereza has a single beauty mark just a little under her left eye. It seems to give her a little extra something. Meanwhile upon her back resides a tattoo of a dreamcatcher; a symbolization of her Native American heritage.  On the right side of her lower abdomen, just a few inches from her navel lies a array of musical notes tattoo. On her inner part of her right wrist there is a Ouroboros tattoo. On the inner of her left wrist is an owl tattoo, known as the Mark of Athena as a representation of the goddess Athena. As far as piercings are concerned, Cereza only has her ears pierced. There's a stab wound on the lower right corner of her abdomen and one in her left shoulder right in the meaty area. On her inner thighs there is a knife slice on each respectively. On the opposite side of her navel just a little lower there is a 'M' etched in her skin with what looks to be from a knife.

Attire

Cereza's styling usually contains two particular items: a fedora and a pair of knuckle gloves. So long as she could pair it with her outfit she most certainly will. Do NOT touch her hat, or knock it off. She does have a tendency to wear some form of suit like attire rather often but that is not the entirety of her wardrobe. She's can be seen in simple wear like jeans and tank, or maybe even dresses from time to time but not very often. She rather wear pants, usually in preparation of a potential brawl.

** Cereza's hair can rarely be found completely out considering it's somehow skillfully tucked into her infamous white fedora. Now with that being said the way she does it gives this illusion that she has short hair, despite the usual two longer strains that strategically fall from the sides, just behind her ears. 

** There must be something magical about that hat! During a fight somehow it just manages to stay on without any problem! How does it do it?! But seriously don't mess with her hat. It does tend to clearly piss her off when someone does. Even if she manages to stay somewhat calm, it becomes a very eerie calm.

Probably the quickest way to provide a semi description of Cereza would be to say that her world is shades of grey. This is what makes her a little hard for most to truly understand her. Her puzzling nature starts from her outward appearance. She enjoys the misconception she exudes just as much as she enjoys their reactions when they see how wrong they were. Deception is the name of the game and Cereza knows how to play. She won't reveal her hand nor fold her cards - especially not so easily. Provocation is a wonderful tool at her disposal and she will not hesitate to use it at her leisure. Especially within a combat situation to attempt to fluster her opponent, which in turn makes her come off with an air of arrogance. Though the most crucial tool anyone could have is the power of knowledge. In knowledge there is leverage and Cereza is certainly about that information trade. Learning is something she actually enjoys. She's book smart to street smart. A quick learner and thinker, her intelligence and wisdom is almost seemingly boundless. One thing that is for certain is that she is a highly perceptive type, always paying close attention to the people around her and her surroundings. From a young age she's always had this knack for taking things apart and putting them back together and that same principle applies to problem solving. Being analytical she assess the issue at hand as quick as possible usually always having a number of backups.

Cereza can be fairly outgoing. Enjoying a party every now and again or just getting out the house in general. Cereza doesn't seem to care much for what anyone thinks of her. She doesn't live her life for them. She's not the easiest cookie to crack. She isn't easy to fluster or anger. Messing with her hat however will cause irritation and a death stare, followed probably by some kind of bodily harm. This is the exception to the previous statement but even then it's not blind rage. In truth if anything she's more dangerous in that way. Everyone has some sort of pride and Cereza isn't really any different. But her pride isn't overbearing. She loves a challenge and rarely ever backs down from one. Which is funny because she's also one to not jump into a situation without analyzing first, it certainly is a contradiction and situational based. Cereza does enjoy fighting but you won't see her outright looking for one unless she decides to go into the underground circuit. And even then it's about the thrill again. She won't start a fight outside of this, but can that be said for certain when she might be verbally provoking them? She likes to push buttons from time to time, it helps in gauging an individual. Often enough Cereza comes off reserved or laid back in many situations. Coming off more like a watcher of the world rather than participating unless she finds reason to engage.

Her goals are certainly unclear and will probably remain so. It's clear she allows people to formulate their opinion of her and takes a mild interest in what they think they see. Not that she cares, just simply it intrigues her what the eyes see. She doesn't bother really correcting them or even really certifying their claims, leaving a cloud of mystery still surrounding her. Her uncle had deemed her 'the white rabbit' cause she has a niche for being trouble. Leading people into trouble for no real reason at all. But who's to say that she does it purposely? That really hasn't been a proven fact. As they say don't follow the white rabbit it might lead you down the rabbit hole, then again maybe it'll be exciting. Cereza doesn't see the world as so black and white as most people do. She sees a lot of the in between's but not only that, she knows the right from the wrong but she just doesn't really act on doing the right. Some have described her as possibly being morally ambiguous because of it. To say she doesn't value loyalty or trust is a bit false, but there are so very few that get that much respect. She's very weary about it. She doesn't trust anyone off the back but she's very good at making one believe she does. She's great at acting. She can keep a facade going for a long time.

She's never been in love, doesn't know what it would feel like nor does she really get the concept. You can say it falls a little deaf on her. Then again maybe it isn't entirely true. Maybe once upon a time she thought she was and well, shit happens. A lot of shit happened. She doesn't sleep around despite that many from visual assessment believe otherwise. But she has been known to wander away when something else catches her interest. Yet again sometimes things have been known to happen and usually involves a lot of alcohol consumption. She doesn't seem so caring about hurting the individuals feelings or anyone's for that matter. Cereza doesn't quite hold her tongue. She can be found almost always speaking her mind with sharp wit and sarcasm usually the companion. She doesn't believe in lying when the truth is much sweeter. Yet there are times where she would tell portions of the truth to deceive, which isn't really an downright lie but an embellishment as she would put it. She knows how to pick and choose her words and timing. In combat she isn't always so talkative if she is there's a reasoning behind it. She's usually calm and focused. A smile could appear on her lips if she's enjoying the bout.

Any truly soft tenderness is left for her comatose brother and his 3 year old daughter; her niece. But then again Cereza could give a damn if she's seen walking around with a tiara on her head and a wand because her niece wants to play princesses for the day. Cereza is who she is and she doesn't care whether people accept it or not. But they're gonna have to deal with it. Many a times she usually has a ulterior motive to anything she does, especially favors. They come with a price 98% of the time. But overall she could be a really chill girl. One would be surprised what she's into.

Many might not  believe because they don't know her well enough. But I'm positive that Cereza has an even softer side that she just isn't fully aware of. I'm talking about a side that is capable of caring for another individual wholeheartedly. Especially outside of her family. But see she just doesn't know how to tap into it. She isn't really aware of it's existence. If anything I'd say it's buried so deep that it'd take a lot for it to see the light of day. Sadly for now the concept falls death on her. Loving another so deeply and unconditionally. She might have it towards her brother and niece but it's not exactly the same as being in love. Not gonna lie I'm not a perfect man. I've done my share of wrongs but when I look at her I do want to see her have it. Experience it. She might get thrills from her heist and fighting but I believe she'll truly feel life once she gets this in her life. One day. Someday. I'm not gonna push it. It's something that must come naturally. But if I didn't know any better, I'd say something happened that I'm unaware of. I'd say maybe she was hurt at some point but refused to show it. I mean she doesn't have a hatred towards the male sex so. But still.

Cereza started learning the arts of combat at about eight years old. With years of constant training comes refinement and better understandings. Cereza does not have a definitive art that she practices overall, i.e. like boxing, muay thai, Brazilian Jiu jutsu, krav maga, etc. She was taught various arts in hopes that she would probably fall into liking one in particular but this led her into taking the principles of each and apply it to her own stylization. It basically for most purposes leaves her free of any particular form. Her styling consists of precision blows in most cases aiming for key vital areas. Though it depends if she wants to prolong the fight or attempt to end it quickly. It's very rare she would ever go for a quick ending because it just kills fun, but there are times where she just might for no reason at all. Cereza has learned ways not to telegraph a lot of her moves so she doesn't tend to give anything away. She likes to play on the human senses and how things are perceived through human eyes as an advantage. She makes sure to use each limb as efficiently as possible, as well as body weight, tactics, and physics. Fighting had become an art project for her. She's always learning and improving. She incorporates striking and joint locking for certain and thrives in close quarter combat. One reasoning for her studying how to effectively strike hard and dangerous with short strikes in small areas was honestly to protect people from getting to the hat. >_>

That and well it's fun. She really isn't one to be all flashy and fancy, preferring to stay a little more practical. This doesn't mean that if she needed or wanted to she couldn't incorporate some of her acrobatics, agile ways. Parkour certainly helps with moving around an environment with ease and she needed this in her thievery. The past two years or so she's been steadily getting better at stealth. It certainly also gives you a sense of thinking on the fly considering you'd have to quickly assess that next move/jump. She has good footwork taking it from fencing, boxing and surprisingly from playing volleyball. One would probably never find her flat footed whatsoever. At the core Cereza is highly versatile and adaptable. It's what makes her formidable. Though well trained she is still able to switch it up to fit into the current situation. She likes to use her opponents energy against themselves most of the time, rather than always opposing it. Yet at the same time a strong premise of her styling revolves around evade and counter. Or deflect and counter. Full on blocking sometimes leaves some vulnerability and little reaction time depending, she really rather avoid. Besides counters hurt more for one is usually not prepared for it. Cereza is not afraid to play dirty in a fight. She will do whatever is necessary. She will optimized the use of her environment to it's fullest. Some main principals in her fighting come from Wing chun, jeet kun do and certainly boxing but that is just to name a few.

So you wanna know about the enigma that is Cereza Nova Grey? Well good luck there sport. That girl doesn't give a damn thing away about her. I'm probably one of the lucky few to know enough of her background. And by lucky few I mean like me and probably her older brother. Secrets and deception are symptoms of life and certainly a constant in hers. Now you're probably wondering why I call her an enigma, yes? I've known this girl all her life and I don't know if you've taken a good look at her but she's the very definition of looks can be deceiving. Trust me even I was fooled. Trying to make a visual assessment of her will leave you a little unsure about your thoughts. For the girl that her outer layer seems to exudes is not the girl that lies beneath. Let me go back a little and explain myself. Sorry sometimes I'm all over the place!

Alright so where do I begin? Hmm, ah the parents. Well I could sit here and give the whole 'once upon time' crap but let's face it kiddies life doesn't work that way. It's a nice thought so long as you don't live in that delusion. Anyway moving along, Cereza didn't necessarily lead a hard knock life. She wasn't a street kid. Her life was certainly more privileged than most. She was born to a socialite mother, Maria Beaumont and a dark horse of a father Aiden Grey, though before her birth they had a son, Kegan. Aiden, well he was for all purposes a ghost; i.e. he was nonexistent within their lives. Why you might ask? Well for right now it's a little complicated if not early to say. But hey Maria had bounced back quickly enough to snag herself a husband in the likes of Michael De Luca. Just to put it out there De Luca and I have never seen eye to eye on just about anything. We keep it cordial for the family. Now who is this 'Michael De Luca'? A well enough known crime boss in New York that's who. He's not as big as most but he has a decent amount of influence nonetheless. What drew Maria to him, I don't know nor do I care. That's her business. Enough about them.

So Cereza and Kegan. Two peas in a pod as they put it. Partners in crime, ironically speaking. From my understanding they were a force to be reckoned with. Watching them grow up was a real treat, especially Cereza. Everything I thought she might be into boy was I wrong. She seemed to thrive in physical activities. Tinkered with things. She was always trying to take something apart and put it back together. Sooner or later she had gotten into cars and motorcycles; graduating to tinkering on them in her later years. Shoot wish she was my daughter. If I didn't know any better I'd say I was her father; but I'm not so don't get your hopes up for some shocking reveal that I am. Relax people close your mouths. Now don't get me wrong this is not me overlooking Kegan. Kegan and I were just as close but his path didn't surprise me. Cereza's growth started at a young age. Molding herself into her own woman. Not allowing anyone to shape her into what they wanted. Cereza was turning into a take charge kind of girl. She knew what she wanted and did what she had to to obtain it. Truly admirable. Couldn't blame her taking the initiative when her mother continued her overly socializing ways and slowly but surely through the years became a bit of a drunk at times. Personally I think she was occasionally using too. Funny De Luca never divorced her considering he had an image to uphold. Guess he made sure no one ever saw her at her most sloppiest. 

As she aged she continued to train in the art of various fighting styles under myself and a friend. She and Kegan. They were both pretty good. I was extremely impressed with how quickly she picked things up and implemented them. Her niche was for taking the primary principles of specific arts that interested her the most and applying it to her own style of fighting. I would best describe it as a more free of form like art since she does not allow herself to be confined to just one and their particular stances. She crafted herself into a dangerous weapon hidden under this beautiful cloak. A veil of guile. But I must warn her mind is just as dangerous. She is most certainly book smart. I've watched her manipulate when she felt like it and almost with such ease; scary. She has a knack for provoking mainly to get them to slip up while she would take that advantage. She loved any challenge and rarely ever said no. Fighting I think brought her a certain little thrill. As much as Kegan was a protective brother even he knew he wouldn't be able to stop her. And well you gotta let people live their lives they way they choose no? It's how we learn am I right?

Maria wouldn't really talk about Aiden even though both siblings had continuously grew curious and despite Kegan somewhat being prepped for taking over for De Luca they had their own personal issues. Meanwhile Cereza was spending her time improving all herself and well being a little snoop. Yeah she liked to roam and explore, just part of her being. She was always looking for some kind of fun or wonderment. A few years back on one particular night she spent at my mansion she happened to stumble upon a certain lair. A lair that hadn't been in use for many years. What did she find? Let's see a whole lot of tech. A variety of weapons and gadgets. And a particular white mafia like hat lying on top of a desk. When I found her she was wearing said hat and being missy touchy touchy with everything. Remember when I said speaking about Aiden was complicated then? Well here it is. Here is where she learned that her father was a highly sought after master thief. Here is where she learned why he wasn't around. I told her that he went out on a job and as far as I knew it went sour. His trial was ice cold so I believed him to be dead. Ya know that girl took it in stride. Somewhere I saw a twinkle in her grey hues that gave me pause and then she revealed she wanted to try it out.  Of course I was like try what out? She wanted to be a thief like him. Why in blue hell did she want to beats me. But being the man that I was and well her uncle of course, how could I say no to my favorite niece. Oh yeah did I forget to mention that I was her uncle? Yip that's me. Someone had to help Aiden.

So I did. She didn't need to steal she had just about everything. I think no I'm sure it was all about the thrill for her. Just like the underground fight rings she had gotten herself into. She was always making a name for herself. I had one of many nicknames for her, one being 'the white rabbit'. Why that? Well for one she constantly wore that white hat. Secondly and probably most important she was trouble at times. You've always been told don't follow the white rabbit for it might led you down the rabbit hole yes? My dear Cereza has this capability should she choose to act upon it. And act she can and will. She can be a dream catcher and either somehow destroy it or allow it to flourish. Maria wasn't thrilled when she saw the hat knowing it belonged to Aiden. In a drunken rage she attempted to rip it off Cereza's head. What was that for? Cereza had become quite protective over that hat so when her mother tried, let's just say a hospital visit to fix her wrist was necessary. You're probably wondering where was the stepfather good ol' De Luca in all this? I personally never cared but for argument sake he was apparently 'amused' by her. Kegan wasn't thrilled by her course of action and the secrets she was holding back cuz as the older brother he just knew there was something. They had a small fight and he stormed out for air. The next time we would hear about him was a phone call stating something had happened and he was in the hospital. From the injuries he sustained it was clear he had been attacked by someone, but who was the question. Kegan fell into a coma and Cereza I know secretly felt it was herself to blame. Funny that even though she tried to give nothing away that I could pick that up, the only time I could. I think it's because I felt that way with what happened with Aiden and I too tried to hide it. Alas that was two years ago and since then Cereza has continued to flourish. She walks around like nothing had ever happened all the while still searching for the cowards. I know she is. But she has to live her life too and nothing is going to stop her. All the while she's been thrown into De Luca's lifestyle more. The spotlights constantly on her since Kegan was gone and Maria bore him no child of his own yet. Like the Queen I know she is she'll rise to the occasion on her own terms. Now I'm sure I still haven't given you certain things. I guess you're just gonna have to discover things for yourself.

Now despite it all I prefer her to continue her schooling so I pushed to enroll her in PHS 259. See how she fairs in such a school with such a reputation. I'm sure she'll be fine. Somethings I'll leave you floks with is one,  the uncertainly of where she stands when it comes to talks of allegiances. Know that above all she will look out for herself. If one ever managed to get into her circle I believe she'll have your back. But there are few that close. For all purposes do not and I repeat do not mess with her hat.
