Melanie had heard stories of a student named Leon. Apparently he was something to be feared. Melanie didn't buy it, in fact, she sought to test it. If he was so bad then why didn't he apply for Pillar or School Captain?
Melanie made her way through the halls to the Zack Asiv's office. If anyone knew, he would. He seemed to know all the students in one way or another. Finally arriving, she would knock three times and wait. She was raised better than to barge into anyone's space uninvited. If there was no answer within a few minutes, she'd knock again. If the door opened, she would smile and offer her hand.
"Hello, Mr. Asiv. My name is Melanie Ross, Third Pillar. I have a few questions for you if you have time for me? If not, I can always come back at a better time."
Melanie wold wait patiently in the doorway before making any moves.

Asiv would quickly put out his cigarette when the knocking came, waving away the smoke reaching into his desk and pulling out some air freshener spray. Firing it about. His new, mahogany desk. Freshly dusted and waxed.
"Come in!"
Zack would have shut the drawer with the freshener and folded his hands on his desk. His back to a window over looking the courtyard.
"Yes, Miss Ross. You took up the School Newsletter. Looks good, what can I help you with? Private interview? Cause I haven't prepared."
Asiv would pull out some blue flash cards with notes on them for answers he had written down for many possible questions.

Melanie waited at the door, hearing an arisol can spray and then the invitation. Pushing the door open, Melanie would enter and take a seat and blink at his response.
"Uh.. Actually, Mr. Asiv, I was saving that for next week's paper. I wanted to ask you about a student."
Melanie would wait to hear his response before continuing.

Asiv would slowly slide the cards back into his desk, giving a wide smile.
"Alright, what student are you looking into? Digging up info on some trouble makers? Plotting some black mail, or some fraud for good measure?"

Melanie would smile back. She didn't expect him to keep his stature based on all she had heard about this particular student.
"I heard some rather nasty things about Leon... Soodeykii? Who is he? and what makes him so bad. I figure i should know most of the people who will be after my job."
Melanie kept her business like posture.

Asiv's face would lower and darken, but his eyes locked onto hers. His folded hands went upwards to rest under his nose and he paused for a little bit.
"My only order to you and the other Pillars, along with the School Captain... Stay away from that boy. He will not hurt you as long as you leave him alone."

Melanie tried her best to remain still and to keep her face dormant. It didn't work. What was this kid?
"What is it that makes him so frightening? Is he just that strong?"
Melanie was shocked by his reaction.

"Have you ever seen what happens when a train carrying nuclear explosives hit's the empire state building in the middle of a typhoon? Neither have I, and I don;t want to. Leave him alone."

Melanie frowned. Seriously, this made her want to know more. But perhaps later she might be able to find out more. There had to be something on the kid. But, enough of that. Might as well ask her interview questions then. Good a time as any right?
"Alright, Mr. Asiv. Fine. Uh... How about the interview questions? I could ask the ones I have now and get a head start on the paper?"

Asiv would look up with a smile pulling the blue flash cards back out swiftly.
"If you insist."

Melanie would pull her satchel to the side and pull out her notebook. Flipping it open and turning a few pages, she'd fold it over and pull the pen out of the spine.
"What made you re open 259?" basics first

Asiv would flip to a card.
"Well, some time ago I attended this school and learned a great deal about the importance of keeping students in school in a generally safe environment. However with the decaying structure and violence growing among the schools around here, I decided to leave the school board of directors and become the Supervisor of this one. I tell you it was no easy choice, but I had lots of faculty willing to help."

Melanie scribbled in her notebook. Looking up briefly, she'd nod before looking down again and scribble some more.
"You said you attended the school. What was that like?"
Melanie would ready her pen.

Asiv would flip a few more cards.
"To tell the truth it wasn't much different from the way it is now. Though most of the school systems you are used to every day are brand new, like the Pillar System itself. They tested it on our school as one of ten to try it out first."

Scribble. Scribble.
"What did you first think of the Pillar system when you first saw it? How has your opinion changed today?"
