Did You Know There Was a PHS#42?Okie, so I was adventuring around pages of roleplay sites, when I ran across a site called PHS#42. It never really took off; going dead around 2012, but it's interesting to know someone stumbled over one of the PHS's and decided to try to make one for themselves. :3 There were 190 members, but no IC posts were made. This was probably because the admin abandoned the site, meaning there was nobody to approve the long list of waiting Bio's. Qi and gangs seemed consistent to the other sites as well. So far, my knowledge of the #'d schools include #552(Active), #137(Dead), #259(Active Obviously X3), and #42(Dead). I dug a little deeper for others, but my search was fruitless. Maybe because the other sites had a considerably smaller amount of posts. Anyway, I'm sure#259 won't be kicking the bucket for a long time! My Journey on Omegle! So I heard from a friend:"Try it! You'll love it!" So I experienced:A social version of Russian Roulette where the bullet signifies the trolls and creeps. Comments:....scary.
But really, I hear from a relative that they had met a few good friends through it, so I said why not? Upon entering, it was obviously not what I expected; being left with my only chatbox option being one known as "#flirt". You can probably see where things went from there. X3
That's all for now. I'll make another short article like this if I make any more interesting Adventures. -Okami Otaku(AKA Captain Obvious)

PHS #42 was one of... Many #'d sites that spawned from the success of the original 2 sites being Xinrpb1 and Xinrpb2. PHS #552 and Hircine High. Out of those #259 was created due to strife with the original #552 site and a few members.
Other site's include, but are not limited to: 774, 1368, Chula Vista, 499, Point Hope, Mugen Hall, and Varron Academy.

Ah! 774 was the name all right. During an event thread over at 552, I remember a user mentioning previously being at a school by that name. Speaking of problems between members, one of those problems had to do with hypocrisy in a few select rules. One of being referencing other existing PHS's. I remember doing just that, to which I was messaged by a staff member whom I will not call out saying that the act of referencing was prohibited.
Of course, this act has been done many times by etc. members, but some are called out, and others not so much. I'm not too upset or anything, since part of my leaving of the site had to do with how I heard a user lost all of his money from the bank. The staff refilled it, but the money wouldn't withdraw right. This only happened to a few members in 552 history, but I would hate to make it far only to have my life savings disappear.
I took a look at a couple of the sites mentioned. Some were further along than others, but all had potential. I noticed a few took place in San Francisco rather than New York or Los Angeles like 552 and here.
Overall, the history behind the whole thing is fascinating. I wonder who the first Admins were of Xinrpb1 and Xinrpb2?

DUDE, I WAS ON #42 FOR A WHILE!
It was a direct spin-off of #259, just taking place in a different city in California. A lot of the older members here (like myself) shared characters between here and there, so there was actually a bit of crossover for the story at the time, and for personal storylines like mine and a few others (Corey is one of them; that's where David and Delilah first met, though that initial thread was not completed).
The reason you don't see any IC posts is because all the threads were archived and or deleted for hopes of a revamp, but even that was years and years ago. I can't believe you found that dinosaur!

Xinrpb 1 the first admin I believe was a member who wen;t by Kyukaku at the time.
Xinrpb 2 the first admin was Maaya and then later Bonke/Vipsas/Constantine.
Kyukaku still holds the Xin 1 community together on a comic book style super power site with a few staff members.
Maaya hasn't been seen in ages though she was on here for a time.
