I stopped chewing. I had to literally close my mouth that was trying to hang open. He'd play with me? My face flushed again. Geez was this going to be a regular thing?
"Branching out? What do you mean?"
Best to try and see what he meant before jumping further into conclusions.

Krane would look over at Melanie in silence for a second. It would probably look like he was hinting at something, well he was, but not that. He was surprised she didn't understand is all.

He stared at me. It was like he was hinting at something... OH MY GAWD! DOES HE MEAN WHAT I THINK HE MEANS?! Then he made it clear: Video games. OH... Right... I knew that... Didn't I?
"Oh, right. Yeah. I guess that sounds cool."
I bobbed my head a bit to emphasis my acceptance of playing together. I wouldn't mind doing something like that sooner rather than later, but I couldn't say that could I? I had to be reserved, didn't I? I had to play hard-to-get... Didn't I?
