I had just put out some fresh flowers in a few pots around the room. It had the lighting, but not the atmosphere. It needed more color. What better to bring the color that Blood Splatter Orchids? They were even themed for their jobs! Bloody.
I made my way to the kitchen and brought a gallon of sweet tea along with a plate of sugar, chocolate chip, and peanut butter cookies. Brain food for the win. Violet would like these. I was just making my way back to the table with spirals and pencils when the clock struck 4. She should be here soon. I took one more glance at the table before sitting down and waiting for the other Pillar to arrive.

EVEN WITH THESE CHAINS
you can't stop me URGENT NOTICE! From Melanie. Well in any case it may not have been urgent but the ring tone that Violet set on her phone for Melanie was set to something that could wake a bear from hibernation, A shrill music that the teacher would soon not forget. Anyhow Violet made quick for the pillar office seeming to disregard any rules of hallway etiquette and bounced from head to head of each successive student before making it to the empty hall and burst through the door to an elegant arrangement that took her breath away. The arrangement of flowers were certainly to die for but it wasn't what Violet noticed first or for that matter at all, seemingly bounding to the kitchen and punishing herself with more than a handful of sugary delectables in the least lady-like fashion could be imagined.
"Melanie you're a saint and a goddess!" Though she was curious as to why she'd been encouraged her she didn't presume to ask questions whilst stuffing herself with this treat.

I grinned at my definite best friend. She was a riot for sure! I pushed her cup of sweet tea toward her. I din't want to grab it for fear i would get bit. I laughed at myself inside.
"It's no biggie. I like to cook sometimes. Take as many as you like."
I'd wait until she was done gorging herself before i brought up the topic at hand. Reaching over, I'd grab a sugar cookie and nibble at it.

EVEN WITH THESE CHAINS
you can't stop me That Melanie was a smart cookie because Violet very well may have taken a bite at the nearest finger entering her fray. Still chomping away but coming up upon a slowish crawl at this point she'd turn upright towards the girl with a great big smile.
"So a Dance?!" As if she were a little bit impatient about getting to the details of it, she really did like the idea and had a few of her own to share into the mix once they got started with it. Her meeting the other day with Richard and Emily had sparked something of a mutual interest in which she'd wanted to share with the school.

I nodded.
"Yeah! I was wanting to speak with you about it. We need to start planning. It has been on my mind lately. I know the student body will try to do some... Stuff, but even so. Everyone should be able to get all dolled up and have a blast."
I grinned right back and gestured to get her more tea.

EVEN WITH THESE CHAINS
you can't stop me "Mhmmm" Violet would mutter finishing up her munching and putting her food aside and pull out a pen and paper stashed away somewhere in her back pocket managing to doodle a little bit of notes that would compile a number of decorations they'd probably require just the same she'd sprung an idea the other day that Melanie had managed to remind her of.
"This is perfect! You're a genius Mel!" Ideally busting out from her seat before really giving Melanie any real notice of what she'd been thinking about. She'd take this time to pull out her phone and message Richard.
The message sent sporadically as the sugar began flowing in Violet's veins. She'd peel around in her seat to face Melanie and look her up and down with a smug grin. "Two birds one stone, as for the shenanigans... Hmmm maybe we could help Emily and use this as an opportunity to scout for a new Varsity Captain, or even tie allegiances with the SHCP." Vi would clap giddily to herself as she plotted out loud.

I smiled as Vi thanked me for the cookies again. I turned and pulled out a pen of my own and grabbed a paper i had on the table. Scouting the SHCP, huh? When did that take place?
"When did we decide we were tying knots with the SHCP? I mean, I know we are supposed to work together, but it really seems like Emily doesn't quite like that... Steven... Raven or whatever the bumpkin's name is."
I waited for her to put her phone a way before continuing.
"We expecting company?"

EVEN WITH THESE CHAINS
you can't stop me "Stevie-Ray," Violet would respond without missing a beat. "And you'd like her she's sweet." Continuing on without losing her flare for the subject as she strut on excusing herself from the table and make way for her locker thinking that in fact she'd forgotten something very important that she'd picked up, in the same motion she'd pocket the cellphone.
"Yeah and about that I'm pretty sure we'd be better off leaving Emily in the dark on this one." She knew full well what Emily thought of Stevie-Ray, all her eyes deemed if people were threats or accomplices nothing else for the time being. Vi sought to change that opinion but seems words weren't enough most the time she needed to lead by her actions.
"Yeah Richard, not sure if you've met him or not, he wanted to start up a neutral zone something that could be mutually beneficial to everyone if things go right." She'd smirk rather proud of herself seeing how this would all pan out. If they got this idea working out soundly they could do away with the morbid ideas that the classes would turn against one another, they could plant the seed of unity in this school and not fall into the same predictable patterns that #260 had.

I waved my hands in a sarcastic 'oh my goodness' manner, my face blank of emotion. However, I could only keep it up for so long before my smile crept over my face.
"Alright, alright. So she's sweet. Fine, whatever. I don't buy into that 'country bumpkin' attitude. I mean seriously. No one, and I mean no one, is that country."
I blinked twice at her suggesting we keep it to ourselves. Really? Keep something from the boss?
"If you say so. After all, Emily did say the next one up is in charge. With Magnus gone, that leaves you."
I shrugged. It didn't matter all that much to me anyhow. I could really not care any less.
"So, Richard... Not sure I have met him. Who is he? And whats with the 'neutral zone' talk?"
What exactly has she been up to this last week?

EVEN WITH THESE CHAINS
you can't stop me Violet would simply roll her eyes, in truth she really didn't know anyone here all too well very much so considering them all friends for lack of a better word. In this moment however she'd give Melanie the benefit of the doubt not looking to stir up unnecessary drama where there were already knives drawn against one another for combat. Shuffling into her backpack she'd draw forth two packages, inside was something special.
"To be honest I'm not entirely sure, some place where no violence can be held on campus really. Although its bound to be a work in progress seeing as we're supposed to keep violence down all over school seems rather redundant." Violet would laugh to herself playing up the coy part of her persona moving back to the table and presenting Melanie with the boxes she'd retrieved.
"Anyways back to the dance, what would you say to a competition? Some incentive really for people to go all out." Violet would grin deviously as she'd eye the boxes for Melanie to bust open. Inside she'd find two crowns one clearly more masculine than the other but both dazzling. "I give you Heartbreaker King and Queen!" Violet would give jazz hands to emphasize her excitement to the reveal.

"A place with no violence... Sounds like an Utopian ideal. I'm not sure it'll work, but well, why not."
I watched her bring out two boxes and present me with a pair of crowns. One obviously more feminine than the other. I placed my hand over my chest in mock shock.
"Whyyy, You shouldn't hayave!" My voice thick with a country accent. I grinned from ear to ear. "They look pretty cool. I like it! Er... Em. I think the student body'll love em! Competition seems to be the thing to go for. How will we decide? The traditional most popular?"

OOC: This is just the entry post. Richard Stock will take his order of initiative in the post order after Violet Lockheart, or whichever is most convenient.
There would be a sudden rapping on the door. And as though thinking better of it, the door would open abruptly, revealing the Englishman in it in all the bloody heat of the California sun. A short boy, 4'9 feet tall, dressed to the nines (or attempting to do so) with a high-collared white button-up long-sleeved shirt with the top three buttons undone, black Dickies' pants, a belt with a silver buckle, and a pair of well taken-care-of shoes. His long dirty-blond hair was done up in a pony-tail as usual, and he stared a little protectively with his hazel eyes into the room, as though checking for danger.
In his left hand, after all, was his satchel carried by the wrist and his flip phone, blatantly opened up to the text message. From the sweat and forcibly calmed labored breathing, Richard ran here.
"Vi, how can I help?"
---His shoulders relaxed as he looked around the room before finally calming down. He looked initially genuinely concerned, his serious taut face slumping into his relaxed "resting bitch face." He quickly identified Violet through her hair as well as the blond sitting by her, noting the available tea and cookies.
...Clearly, he was interrupting a conversation.
Not wasting time, he strode in undeterred by his initial misunderstanding as to what urgency this had been straight to the table, before bowing to the blond with his upper body apologetically for interjecting as well as introducing himself to Melanie and then finishing with a nod to her.
"Richard Stock, pleasure," he'd say then extending a hand out to her to shake.
The boy's hazel eyes then flitted up to the arrangement of blood flowers.
Satisfactory.
He approved of the room's floral enhancement.
Richard would remain standing at attention until offered to sit or something else by either Melanie or Vi, promptly putting away the phone, his satchel ready in hand.

EVEN WITH THESE CHAINS
you can't stop me With a grand grin to Melanie's reaction Violet would let out a soft laugh her palms extended to the effeminate or rather the 'queens' crown and extend it out to place atop Melanie's head to try out. A perfect fit suffice to say perhaps we'd have a Queen here in the making. Playfully enough Violet would don the King's crown and give an exaggerated bow to the girl before busting out in laughter.
"I was thinking of coming down to a vote, seeing as I'll be hosting the event more or less I'll be the judge for all final decisions and if there's a tie I suppose..." Violet would frown momentarily before prompting up a silly grin. "It could always have a little fight to determine the winner, I'm sure that'd appease Emily seeing as we are in the market for a new Varsity Captain." Not to mention if we maintained something of a strong position with events and choosing which way fights went it'd show a manner of strength to the student body that Pillars had domain here. Even if Emily was left in the dark about this anyone could see the strategy in it clearly.
The sudden busting in the door would redirect Violet's attention to see Richard stagger in once more looking rather heated if those were the appropriate words. "Perfect timing!" Violet would exhale loudly extending her arms and welcoming him in with pulling a seat out for the boy a grin ear to ear. "Richard I have a favor to ask of you, well really I was thinking it could be mutually beneficial." Violet would speak up rather quickly letting herself a moment to take a deep breath and pace herself with the pleasantries rather than just bubbling out like a nincompoop.

There would be no words or show of sign of Richard's opinions on the two wearing crowns. Adorable, cute, waste of time, dumb... but at the very least he did not seem to mind or outright ignored the crowns. He would not have heard anything about the King or Queen, or even the possible mannerism that Violet and Melanie were considering to decide on a new Varsity Captain.
Instead, right after his initial entrance and call out to Vi, she would welcome him in and take out a seat for him. This wouldn't have interrupted his decision to introduce himself Melanie. Whether it was reciprocated or no, after making the prior-stated observations, he would've taken to the offered seat, nodded slightly to Violet in thanks, and sat.
Vi was excited... but not talking in her rushed mannerism when she was usually over-enthusiastic about something... meaning she really was focusing on being clear and understood---as how Richard understood it, anyways.
But when she asked him for a favor or a mutually beneficial deal, the next sequence of events would seem almost mechanical, coming from Richard. He would slide his satchel onto the table, take out a pen and paper and scoot himself, back upright. The girls had his full attention.
"Yes, I'm listening," the pen hovering dangerously over the paper, ready to mark down any notes he might have to make without him looking at it.

I removed the crown from my head as the student came to me and introduced himself. I noticed how... cute he was. Too bad I already had someone else in mind to be mine. He might have done quite nicely.
"Melanie Ross." I said simply, shaking his hand and returning my attention back to Vi. She was almost bubbling to the breaking point about the dance. I sat back and smiled, this was probably going to be awesome and hilarious! I watched Richard pull his satchel up and pull out a pad of paper and a pen. Seemed he had a lot of the same ideas as I did. I caught myself looking at him closer, almost as if I were trying to get a better read on him.
If Vi thought he was alright, then I trusted her. Even if she did like that... Steven Raven chick. Whatever, I didn't care, remember? Even if she DID hit a guy after he had surrendered. She was a bad habit waiting to blow over again. This time, it might not be on someone who could take a hit. She was dangerous. But anyhow, back the the situation at hand.
I put the tiara back in it's respective box and stood to get another glass of sweet tea. Just before I entered the kitchen, I would offer to get a glass for Richard.
"Anytning I can get ya? Sweet tea?"
