In the pale glow of the full moon there was a solitary figure on the beach. His long hair was flowing freely in a gently breeze and his lithe form was moving gracefully almost as if a dance. But that wasn't really what it was.
The tall young man known as Jyo Mashima was out on the beach practicing. He had been back in heavy training since getting out of the hospital from his fight with Asiv. He had beaten the man down to a tie. But he had found a new fighter to surpass. Jyo was getting back into the heavy training that he used during his days at #499 when he had no choice but to constantly fight and train to keep up with those attempting to take his title as captain.
Next time I fight you Asiv I will not just defeat you. i will crush you. If for no other reason than to test my limits. You've proved worthy enough to make me get back into this training. So you will be the first to experiance the fruits of my labors when I have reached my new goal He thought as his movements went from graceful and flowing to sharp and precise. During this set of forms Jyo was switching how to move his body. He was adpet at nearly all forms of combat now besides Qi based attacks. he didn't like those instead useing his Qi to let him read his enemies easily and therefore in serious fights make it nearly impossible to get a move by him.
Jyo was clad in a pair of dark blue slacks and nothing more. His shirt, shoes, socks, jacket, and shades were all in the tent he had set up. his lithe toned build clearly shown along with the many scars along his chest. His eyes were narrowed in thought as he went through his forms. Eventually he switched to his Tora Katto Tsume stance forming his hands like claws and practiced his raking attacks capable of ripping flesh from his foes. Not only had Asiv motivated this new bout of training. But the return of Rastal had shaken him. The next time they fought one of them would die.
Jyo pushed those dark thoughts from his mind letting himself be at peace. Jyo didn't allow himself anger or fear. Not out of some pride factor. But out opf the fact he fought and trained at his best while in a peacful relaxed state few could truly attain. He knew that even if he was not the best. he was the very definition of a warrior. He felt the anger and fear as much as anyone else could. But he could push them aside for better needs. He knew the anger factor was a sign he had learned true disipline. But the fear. When he had learned to push on through his fears. That was when he learned courage. Bravery wasn't a lack of fear but the ability to push yourself while dealing with it. Fighting was so much more than keeping one's body in shape. One's body was only the vessle. Jyo had learned to emotionally and mentally train himself as well which was what he was doing here along with his physical training.
This isn't working. Practicing the motions is fine. But I think a training partner would work better. Even if it was a light match. The element of a fighter I'm not familiar with alwasy helps. He thought switching back to the fluid graceful motions for a while.

ichiamru was walking along the beach again, remembering the fight he had with veyugan, Ichimaru was beaten in two attacks by him, and he didnt forget it in the slightest, but was glad he later helped him train and get better. he was thinking of all the fights he'd had so far and the one he liked the best was the one with zio the third time in the parkinglot, but a close second was that of jyo. as he was in thought he looked around and saw jyo, someone he was just thinking of. his blood was pumping already. it looked like he was going through his movements. he smiled widely "Jyo, hey! anything new?" he jogged over to him

Jyo paused hearing footsteps and a voice. He looked over to see the familiar face of Ichimaru. A fighter who while slightly inexperianced was someone with a lot of potential. Jyo remembered their battle. Ichimaru had interesting abilities and was pretty tough. He was curious as to if he had improved.
He gave a small nod in greeting. "Hi there. I wondered when I'd see you again. So have you improved since our last battle?" he asked.

smiling "i could tell you anything a want, but theres two reasons i wont tell you, one i dont know exactly myself, and a spar would tell us both. besides it's been a while and i'm sure you imporved a lot more than before as well" he said keeping his smile, he wanted to spar today, and he just found someone who may ablige. he looked at him "i see your practicing hard, i however have no fighting style so the only way i can practice is in an actual fight, witch i've landed in quite a few, so i would like another spar to see where we stand." he added as he streached a bit.

Jyo chuckled. "Interesting way to put it. I guess I wouldn't mind a spar. I've lacked many fights since arriving in this school." he said and then stood strait and let his arms fall to the sides. He was clearly relaxed though his eyes were intensly focused. "Ready when you are." He said. jyo would have actually already attacked if this had not been a spar. But as theis was a test of skill he would wait until he was sure his foe was ready.

bringing up his fists, remembering that jyo was stronger than him when they spared last, he wondered mostly if that was still true. "ready Jyo, i dont want to start" he said smiling still, he charged his Qi into his fists and waited, if Jyo made a normal move he would try and catch the limb on contact and attack with the other hand, or try and strike before the attack got too close.

Jyo notice Ichimaru get ready and there was something similar in his fighting aura. He rose an eyebrow noticing what it was. Sorry that won't work as well this time He thought and dashed in little more than a blur. When in range he had his left foot shoot out for Ichimaru's right leg. The ball of his foot was aimed for the point where the claf muscle met the bone. It would slow his opponet's ability to move around considerably if it worked. Jyo of course was ready for some form of counter. This after all was a simple move to get Ichimaru into action. He simply made it so it would be highly effictive if it went through.

ichimaru sprinted back before the attack could hit, he was going to attack but he remembered how hard it was to move with a broken leg so he retrieted a bit. he wanted to continue with an attack of his own but all he could think to do now was play the defencive and then try and catch him when he saw a mistake, however he wasnt sure how he could hold out like that, he may loose himself and try to attack recklessly and end up losing badly, or he might wait too long and lose before he could do anything.

Jyo grinned as Ichimaru moved back. But he didn't even break stride. Instead he let his kick follow through and planted his leg down. He now had his legs crossed. but without pausing even for a moment he had used the tension created to spin slightly and his left foot shot out in a back kick aimed for Ichimaru's chest. If anything he actually had gotten more force behind the attack.

Ichimaru put his arms down a bit just enough to make the attack hit his arms instead of his chest, witch may have slowed him down worse than if his arms hurt. he charged his Qi into his feet, hoping after a little bit he could get some distance and land a hit on him, but sience Jyo had gone against his Qi before and knew exactly how it worked, at least as much as Ichimaru did at least, it would be tought to catch him with it uless an opertune moment accured and that would only be by a slim chance

Jyo still didn't break stride. After his kick he pressed the attack using the advantage od his long legs that few if any students could hope to get past if he didn't let them. As soon as his left leg touched down he kept the momentum and came around to face Ichimaru again and his right foot came in for a cresent kick aimed for the side of Ichimaru's head. If it worked he would swing it back into a hook kick before it touched down. If it was countered or blocked Jyo would have to work a new move from there.

Ichimarus hands where a little higher than where they normaly rested in his stance, and all he could think to do was move his head just out of the way, when an interesting idea accoured to him, he was just being defencive and wouldnt help his case to win so as he moved his head down a bit he tried to get a hand on Jyo's shin and push it back to where it missed his head and use his other free thand to drive a fist into his thigh.

Jyo noticed a hand going for his leg. From his experiance there was only a few possibilites as to what one would do when they made a grab for someone kicking. And he noticed the way Ichimaru was positioned. There was only one real logcial possibility. He saw the other hand come in and his right hand shot out grabbing the incoming fist and he had enough force behind it that when the fist met his thigh it felt like a simple tap. He took the time to wrench his leg free and push off with his other foot. He landed slightly ungracfully but otherwise he showed very little effort put into all of it. "Well you have improved." he said.

smiles a bit, taking a deep breath "you fight like a completely different person" he said getting into his stance again, his punch didnt do what he wanted, so he tried to think of what he could do to fight and stay on par with him, but his mind was running a blank. he wasnt worried, if he lost he lost, if he won then he could celebrate, but it wasnt bad either way, he was still learning from someone, and it was something to do.

Jyo simply shrugged. "I never fight the same way twice." He said and then dashed in again and when he reached kicking distance his left foot swung in for a cresent kick but before it would hit he curled the leg letting it miss Ichimaru as this was a ruse. Instead he went into a turn and his left foot touched down while his right went into a spin kick. More or less this made any block or attempt to grab fruitless. Granted a counter wasn't impossible but with Jyo's speed and the fluid motion he used it would be hard to get past.
