Mental Information
Personality: Cale is brash and arrogant almost to a fault, utilizing his sheer brute strength to carve his way through situations, be it interpersonal or in battle. He is fully aware of his abilities and his arrogance, and his sheer confidence shows through as his arrogance can be very quickly backed up with his actions; for Cale, there is no point in bragging if there is nothing to back it up, and so he ensures that he always can whether through physical prowess or his own experience on a matter. Cale is driven by a powerful sense of morality, although what manner he follows is known only to him. Although he respects that there is a certain order to things he knows that rules are made to be bent, and he has more than enough power to bend any of them that he sees fit. Although it’s known only to those closest to him, of which there are few, Cale actually spends much of his time when not training, sparring, or on missions studying as hard as he can. Although he is by no means the top of his class, Cale does his best to ensure that he is going to follow his mother’s footsteps, and does all he can to keep his grades up. While he may come across as incessant or annoying to those first meeting him, what few have known him for longer are aware that beneath his bravado is the heart of a true warrior, and while he may not seem it at first, Cale is more likely than anyone to be the first to jump in the way of an enemy to save an ally… although he’s also more likely than anyone to rub it in afterwards, even if only to make sure that whoever it was understands that they need more power to save themselves and others in the future.

History Information
History: The son of a mechanic and a blacksmith, his father’s proudest moment was when Cale finished his first blade, and his mother’s was when he built his first engine. Cale was always the strongest boy on the playground as he grew up, and used this as much to his advantage as he did for the protection of those that lacked their own strength, when the mood struck him. Continually challenging himself, and accepting challenges from others, Cale spent his formative years increasing his already considerable might, and by the time he was twelve could already lift his father’s greatsword with relative ease.
Although Cale was shaping up to be as skilled a smithy as his father, his parents decided that the best path for him was his mother’s, and so his homeschooling as a fighter began from a young age. He excelled at combat, even learning how to overcome the drawbacks of using a greatsword, an uncommon weapon in a world dominated by speed and agility, and as his basic combat training came to a close his mother began to shift their studies into matters of Qi, but here things went awry.
On a training trip while he was fourteen, while training him to better utilize his Qi and to find his powers, Cale and his mother were attacked and, with their guards down from concentrating and attempting to link their Qi together in order to strengthen Cale’s, the two were unprepared. To call it a slaughter would be a stretch, but as Cale felt every sensation that went through his mother’s body during the moments that they were linked, the wounds that were left on her body became scars on his mind, and although Cale escaped from the tragedy, he didn’t escape unscathed; Cale could no longer attempt to activate his Qi without his mind playing the scene over and over again. Unwilling to relive the pain his mother felt in death ever again, Cale focused entirely on combat as he continued training.
As time passed, Cale drew up the blueprints for, and consequently smithed, a weapon his own making: Ragnarok, a fusion style greatsword. His father possessed no Qi and was unable to teach him anything more, so Cale left to make his own way in the world. As a final parting gift, the two worked together to develop Fenrir, Cale's massive motorcycle. Fit with all terrain wheels, a mechanical array to hold Ragnarok's individual pieces, and an engine that could tow a small plane, it would be rare to see Cale show up somewhere without hearing the roar of his approaching engine.
However, Cale's Qi was nearly as unstoppable as its owner believed himself to be; in time he could no more suppress it than he could willingly summon it, and Cale's Qi abilities began to manifest, building up in his body before releasing like bursts. In spite of the mental strain, he still keeps a tight lock on his Qi powers, afraid to fully utilize them lest it send his mind hurtling into the dark recesses of his memories once more. Knowing full well that there was only one place he could go to learn how to handle his Qi, Cale set out for Territory 259.
Now attending the Cabal Academy, Cale keeps himself at a distance from the students around him primarily due to the damaged link he shared with his mother. His physical prowess has continued to develop over the years, to the point that many at first glance assume his Qi must be something to do with strength just from the ease he handles Ragnarok with. But those who are sensitive enough might see that Cale's Qi remains as locked away as his loyalties; if they exist, it's far beyond anyone else to see.
