So Victor had invited another 259 benefactor to the school by the name of Alexander Malice, some guy who apparently had a bunch of money and had gone to the school before it was closed some years ago, some class mate of Kaar. Though today The Dean had called Cale into the S.H.C.P office where he would spot both Mr. Kaar and the red haired man waiting for him. The red haired man had pale blue eyes and slicked back half length hair. He wore a black suit and seemed stoic in appearance and expression.

Cale was hard at work in the metal shop, honing Ragnarok's various edges, trying to tweak the gears and locks that held the entire blade together, most of the other students staying VERY clear of the area he was working in. A big enough sword makes anyone nervous.
As a unit, the weapon worked marvelously. Everything was fit just so, and when fully assembled there were no breaks in the front edge and the tip, the back serrated towards the bottom, more to catch other weapons than specifically tear through materials, and the rest was largely blunt, tapered towards the main piece that formed the base weapon. However, when taken apart the various configurations failed. Their structural stability still relied on all pieces being interlocked, which was an issue he was still working on.
Or at least, was attempting to when a representative for the school walked up behind him, his shaded goggles down, and called towards him. "Mr. Beoulve?"
Sparks flew, and the sound of grinding metal grew with them.
"MR. BEOULVE."
He stopped, taking a moment to compose himself before turning off the grinding wheel and doing a quick about face, not releasing his hold on the large blade component he'd been working on. "That'd be me."
"Here's a pass," the man said, handing a signed slip to him. "You're being asked for in the SHCP office."
Cale took it, sliding his goggles up into his slightly tousled blonde spikes before nodding and turning back to reassemble Ragnarok. The other students in the shop seemed to breathe a collective sigh of relief as the huge sword came back together, a sign that Cale was taking the weapon with him, and he marched out and down the hallway after flashing his pass to the teacher.
When at last he arrived at the SHCP office, figuring that this was something to do with the case Stevie had him waiting around on, he was a bit surprised to see two faces he hadn't met just yet, the redhead clearly here for some purpose. "Somethin' I can do for you two?" he asked, walking in and leaning against the couch nearby.

Victor Kaar moved towards Cale and extended a hand to shake.
"I am Mister Kaar, the Student Dean. I understand Captain Wilson evaluated you and accepted you as a Corrections Officer. I can see why."
Kaar would turn to the side so as to gesture at the red haired man.
"This is Alexander Malice. He is the Director of a company known as M.E.W. He is an engineer of sorts and provides me specifically with weapons and other gear to deal with the students here."
Kaar would pull the odd handled stick from it's sheath on his back.
"He constructed this for me and my chest armor. I figured you may wish to use his company for your own weapon."
He would gesture towards the hulking sword at Cale's back.

Cale listened intently, nodding towards Alexander as the man was introduced, but crossed his arms after hearing about the offer being made. He quirked a brow, looking at the stick. Sure seemed... sturdy. He couldn't help but latch onto the use of the phrase "deal with the students". He expected some folks to have weapons they favored, but not ones that were designed specifically to handle teenagers like common livestock.
Moreover, how much did Kaar know about him? He'd never met the guy, and he certainly hadn't had a chance to show off what Ragnarok could do, so how did this guy know that the weapon's full functions were incomplete at all? "... right," he responded, a bit skeptically. Ragnarok was something of a personal project, both because of it's significance to him and that he honestly didn't need everyone knowing about how the internal mechanisms worked. "And I suppose that your interest in my blade has nothing do with your own weapons manufacturing?" he directed towards Malice, not moving from his spot.

Malice smiled at the guy when he spoke of his own weapons manufacturing being a secondary reason for offering this help.
"Well aren't you smart. M.E.W deals in experimental weaponry that usually doesn't make the market. I'm not saying I wouldn't adapt the tech of your blade to some of our projects, but this is a request from Kaar, thus the terms are between you two. I simply have my contract."
Victor would nod to this.
"Indeed. M.E.W has a privacy and no questions asked policy with us. Should you deem your tech private material they would simply work on it. Or they can give you the proper equipment and materials to work on it yourself."
Malice would nod at this as well.
"Our facility would be open for you to do what you wish."

Cale cast a wary glance at Kaar before nodding, and reaching over his shoulder. The blade unlatched and he swung it around, holding it up to examine it in the light. "... to be quite honest, a metal shop at a public school, however well funded, and my own personal tools just aren't enough to finish this sword," he admitted, spinning the blade into a backhand grip. As a bit of personal fun he simply tossed it towards Malice, trying not to grin.
"Take a look if you'd like. But so far as I'm concerned, yes this is private. And if I see my designs being used in your weaponry, you won't have factories left by the time I'm through."

Alex would step up and catch the blade with both hands. Checking it over and looking back at Cale with a raised eye brow. He'd tap it here and there, feeling it, listening to it. Nodding after seemingly finding something and tossing it back over, much like Cale had tossed it to him.
"Shouldn't be too difficult to modify or upgrade it."
Malice would stretch and go to leave.
Kaar would nod.
"Officer Boulve, you have leave for the day to go with Mister Malice to the M.E.W facility to work on your weapon."
Malice would wait at the door. Should he follow they would go to the waiting vehicle and head into L.A. before stopping at a building with a concrete sign.
"Malice Experimental Weaponry"
Cale would be lead inside, stale hallways lead into a multitude of different sized rooms, and sub rooms for building and testing. Cale would be lead to a specific part of the building labeled "Large Gear Based" and shown the facility he would be using. State of the art, with assistants and scanners, and base materials along with manufacturing equipment and a forge.
"Build to your hearts content."

Cale snatched the blade out of the air as it flew towards him and sheathed it with one smooth motion, crossing his arms again as he listened. He got up from his leaned position to follow Malice along, taking great care to keep his thoughts to himself as he rode through the streets up until they finall stopped outside of Malice's place.
The inside of the shop was an absolute marvel to anyone with a mind for engineering. Machines that he'd only seen prototypes of online were fully functioning in droves along manufacturing lines. The entire thing had a clean, sterile feel to it, and as many men and women in labcoats were scurrying about as there were combat able testers for each new weapon hopping off the line.
"I, ah," he stammered for a minute, taking it all in. "I think I'll take you up on that." Cale turned and walked into the area he was led to and immediately took his gloves off, tossing them to a waiting assistant and laying his sword down at a large, cleared away table.
"Oy, you with the degree!" he barked, pointing at a rather scrawny looking man with a clipboard. "You work for me today. Along with everyone else in this room." As he spoke, his hands worked over Ragnarok's various clips and levers. Whirs and clicks emanated from the blade as the individula components sprang free, quickly and neatly arranged on the table.
"... and here's what I want." He smiled.
It took several hours, forging and reforging the two shortsword meant to provide extra stability along the sides of Ragnarok's completed edge, but eventually... it was complete. Amidst the maelstrom of welding and grinding metals and pouring molten steel, Cale finally affixed a new mechanism to the small blades. His own design, improved upon with the know how of the engineers at MEW, and documented for his own use later although not applicable to the rest of the blades making up Ragnarok's form. Blueprints scattered the table, all of them with a single name scrawled on the top: Kirin.
"Testing facilities," he said, hefting his reformed blade from the table. Clipboard looked at the sheer bulk of the sword before nodding and leading Cale down to what was normally a gun range, but would suit his purposes perfectly well.
"Two targets, at 100 yards out. Ten feet apart."
He got down low, bracing himself in a starting position, his hand on Ragnarok's hilt where it lay waiting in its holster. There were three countdown beeps and a large clunk before two fleshy ballistics gel mannequins sprang up in the appropriate places. Cale withdrew Ragnarok and flicked his finger over a newly minted locking mechanism, causing one of the short blades to spring out and a handle to fold down just as he'd been trying to accomplish for months now, spinning towards his left hand. In one move he caught it and launched himself down the gunrange at a record speed, going into a spin. Air whirled around Ragnarok as it spun around him, and in a flash of light and steel the two mannequins were slashed to bits while he rotated through the air. Cale came to a skidding stop just on the other side of them, feeling the new balance of his blade without having one of its heavier stability pieces installed. It probably wouldn't hit quite as hard as the fully completed weapon, losing mass would do that to a sword, but the added maneuverability could save his ass in a pinch.
Cale chuckled, latching the short sword back onto the main assembly and sheathing it once more. He walked by Clipboard and clapped him on the shoulder. "Good job. Tell the boys I'll be back once I've gotten the hang of this. And burn those blueprints."
He stopped and turned, raising his brows to the engineer. "And when I say to burn them, I mean it. No copies. No pictures." The man stuttered, struggling to find a response in time, but gave up entirely and simply nodded back. "Good! Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some homework to do." He said before striding out and down the hall.
