It was dark...so dark and he was closed in on every side. There was nothing around, no one, no one but himself and that's what made it the worst. Before him stood an exact image of himself...it was real, so real.
"You fear disappearing..." It said, calling him out. "But I can, because I'm useless..." Aureus replied, looking away. "Nobody cares about me." "You run away because you think nobody cares. You're too scared to fail, too scared to be disliked. You fear your weakness." "You too! And everyone else!" He shouted back, still trying to fight it. "Right, we're the same. You can never be alone, regardless of what you think. You need someone else...to be complete. There's no other way. And you didn't run away from her." "It's too painful that way. I don't want to be alone..." "You don't know what you want." And then everything died, even himself. So quiet...so dark...so cold. And he screamed.
And then...he was somewhere else. Somewhere that felt so foreign. It wasn't a part of him, it was someone else, but who? Looking down at himself, Aureus found that he was dressed in black. Black like the night, black like the nothingness he had come from. His eyes shone like stars. Moving forward, he tried to get his bearings.
OOC: This is the thread I was talking about. Remember, at the end of my post, we're in YOUR dream/nightmare now, so it's up to you to set the stage for the rest of the thread.

Everything was white, just completely white, nothing except white, it was all white. It was the type of room where you were standing in the middle of nothingness, almost like you could move everywhere you want if you just tell your mind to. June was in the very pit in the middle, walking dully around, her head looking, almost like she was trying to find something. Every once and awhile, a small drop of liquid would fall down like the beginning of a heavy rain was going to start soon. Except this liquid was more of a crimson color, more fresh, and obviously can be recognized to be known as blood from any person. What was weird was that the blood would never hit anything, it would just fall through the ground one was walking (or floating) on, and it could only splatter if hit the body.
June was wearing a very dull attire of a black shirt, black jean pants, and black tennis shoes. She didn't seem to be the least bit effected by any of this as well, almost like she was used to it. She just wandered around casually, everything remaining silent, and the drops of blood would slowly grow quicker as the minutes past over time.

Everything was white, so white it made him feel like he was a major intruder there, in wherever he was. His blackness was a mar on the face of this place and he just wanted to leave. Stay...or go back into the darkness? He asked himself, his choice already made. It was much better than the darkness, anything was.
Is this another dream? Aureus asked no one, turning around and around looking for something other than the white. Yes, it was a dream, that much he knew instinctively, but it was different than any he had experienced before. It was like he was looking at everything through a glass box, not able to fully connect.
Floating forward, he sped through what seemed like miles and miles in only an instant, stopping when he finally caught sight of something else. It was black, just like him, and it seemed to be looking for something. Walking on and on, it seemed bored with everything as a whole.
Suddenly, something began to fall from the sky. Blood... the Dream Walker thought as he held out a hand and looked up. It wasn't normal blood though, no...it was more like the entire world as a whole wasn't normal. The small drops of liquid simply fell through the nothingness without leaving a single trace of their presence on anything, even him.
Floating closer to the other black figure, he tried to talk to it. "Where are we?" He asked, getting no response. Reaching out a hand, Aureus poked right through the girl, like she was just part of the air. What's going on? He wondered, still watching the girl for any new developments.
Thinking on it, he realized he had seen her before, but that's all he could get. Her name, where he had seen her, how many times he had seen her, what he thought of her, none of it came to mind. There was nothing he could do, but watch from his glass box.

OOC: Sorry for the late post.
"How do you feel?" (Can only be heard in June's thoughts.) "Empty..."
The words were spoken in a dull tone, June's eyes looking directly over at Aureus, even though she didn't know he was there. This would be around the time he stuck her hand through her, but of course, once more she had no idea. It would be direct eye contact if he continued to look at her, almost like you would think that she realized there was another presence. Seconds would pass by, the blood dripping down accelerating into a quicker and quicker pace while it dripped through the emptiness of this strange and unusual room. If one would want to really notice, it was quite possible once the blood was out of sight down below, another one would fall directly above where it went out of sight and go back down. Pretty much, the drops of blood weren't growing as much number, but actually repeating in a never ending cycle, going quicker and quicker each time the fall, with an occasional few joining in the process each time it sped up.
"You should try and cheer up... I drew a picture today." (Can only be heard in June's thoughts.) "I see..."
With that, June would walk right through Aureus, there for eliminating the fact that she knew he was there, and would walk by a life sized Barbie doll that was off in the distance. She was drenched in blood, and though she was made of plastic, it could seem she was bleeding from her eyes, ears, nose, and any other holes we can't directly tell because she did have clothes on, though they seemed to be growing red in color as well.
"I'll show you it, but only you can see this. Make sure nobody follows." (Can only be heard in June's thoughts.) "Do you think he might be watching us? I do feel that someone else is here."
This question was being asked to the Barbie doll in that soft still seemingly uncaring tone, but once more, she did not even suspect Aureus, it was all once more coincidence, though he may never know what exactly is going on.

What's empty? Me...You...this whole place He thought after the pale girl seemed to speak to him. She was looking right into his eyes, so could she see him? Things were weird already and kept right on down that road.
"Uhh...what's empty?" He asked, checking to see if she might have been addressing him. Nope, no answer; the blood just kept flying down on them like it had been before. For a few moments everything was quiet, and it was really starting to get to Aureus. What was this place? Why did he know this girl? Why was he there? What was she talking about?! The Pillar couldn't help but allow those questions to ricochet off the walls of his mind. He was in a fucked up place, emotionally that is, and had trouble thinking straight. I want answers! He thought while gritting his teeth.
It wasn't until the girl walked through him that the boy began paying attention to his surroundings again. He had a bad habit of getting seriously caught up in his thoughts sometimes. Curious, and not having anything else to do, the dream walker turned and followed the girl.
Apparently they weren't the only ones around, as there was a life sized Barbie doll right in front of them. As if that wasn't weird enough, the blood seemed to have effected her and was pouring out from all the holes of her body.
The dreamer was talking again, this time to the doll. Hmm, so maybe she could "feel" him, just not any of the usual senses. It was possible, maybe. To be honest he still had no idea what the fuck was going on. Though this weird ass situation was beginning to pique his curiosity. What was going to happen next?

"Alright, come with me." (June's thoughts) "Kay."
With that, June and the Barbie doll disappeared into thin air, and the blood that was dripping down completely halted. The room was then painted over with a new purple coat, paintings randomly appearing out of no where floating around the room. Each painting had something drew on it, most of them detailed sexual content vividly, and they were all painted in blood, go figure. The randomly floated in a circle, in a revolving point in a dull not very interesting point being signified as the center. The point wasn't special though, it was just the center, no huge thing that catches the eye, one could barely care to look at it when there was all these juicy paintings floating around.
"OH MY GOD! That's great!"
Yelled a random voice in a loud shriek, a child like voice sounding like an elementary school student, and it was another, younger, albino girl standing next to the giant Barbie and June. The three of them stared at it, and on the picture was drawn a single word on the paper. It was dull, uninteresting, and one would never expect a reaction like that on it. There wasn't even point to it, and it had the least interesting message being displayed on it than anything else in the room.
It read:

After a simple "Kay" the two figures vanished, and Aureus was left looking around. All of a sudden the room flooded purple and multiple paintings popped into existence, all drawn in blood and sporting a single theme: sex. This is like a fucked up Dr. Seuss story... the boy thought as he floated about, looking things over.
He hadn't a clue where the girl and doll had gone off to until a loud yell pierced his ears. Turning to see what it was, his dark brown eyes fell upon a younger looking version of the girl. She, along with the other two, were staring at a particular painting. It sounded exciting, so Aureus quickly sped over to them to see what it was.
Needless to say, he didn't fully understand what was so amazing about the word "Colors". Thinking for a moment, he guessed it had some deep psychological meaning for this girl. Maybe one of the three would elaborate on exactly what it meant.
