Asiv backed up a bit waiting for the pain to reach a critical point where he wouldn't be able to unlock his Qi. However he did, a shield powered up and his Qi flow opened up completely, expelling Asiv's infectious Qi from his body. Takumi would find the pain all but vanishing completely over a few short moments, and that he had unlocked his inner power.
"You must have a very protective personality. You have graduated the fast way."
Zack would smile and offer Takumi a hand up.

Takumi's eyes widened as a field popped up and the pain vanished. It did leave a phantom pain, Takumi's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Asivsama stepped up and offered a hand. Protective personality... Takumi took the hand after hesitating a moment or two.
"Protective personality? I suppose. Not that it does much good for those around me."
He stood and looked down at his hands.
"What was that i just did?"

"Looked to me like a common barrier of some sort. Likely would be good to accustom yourself to that before throwing it around in combat. Mmm, that would be a Generation type Qi, one of the most versatile honestly as it gives physical form to your inner energy."
Zack would pull a pack of cigarettes from his jacket and pull one out to pop in his mouth. Searching for his lighter while he continued to talk.

Takumi kept his focus on his hands as he listened to Asiv. Eventually, he dragged his gaze up to meet the strange teacher's.
"I don't understand... This is physical energy? I mean I guess I'm thankful I have something, but how does a shield I can't control make me a force to be reckoned with?"
Takumi dropped his hands to his sides.

Zack would sigh, it was like the kid was in shock over what he had just done.
"Qi, Chi, Ki, Chakra, Energy, The Force. Whatever you want to call it, every living thing has this energy to call on. It manifests depending on personality or need. It grows stronger and stronger over time, like a muscle. For now, you don't need to understand it, just know that you can use it. That shield could change the outcome of a battle easily, there is no telling what else you can do."

"You didn't answer my question. Who are you? I know you are the supervisor. I know you teach Qi. What I don't know is, why? How? What makes you want to?"
This guy was going to talk to Takumi. He just had to.

Zack chuckled.
"You may be reading too far into it. I want to teach people to use and perfect their Qi, because this power has been discovered, used, suppressed, and repeat. This time, we will really discover everything about it. Not call it witch craft and burn people for it. No stories of vampires, werewolves, or any other scary story that was likely Qi hunted and destroyed for misunderstanding it. It is a part of us, and without it we never truly know ourselves."

Takumi may have been over stepping his bounds, but he was just too damn curious.
