Having managed to force a breakfast of hard-boiled egg and lightly buttered toast, the blonde approached the schoolyard partly excited, and somewhat warily. She lived not too far away from the public high school, and was well in walking distance. Her transfer had been very smooth, thankfully, and she had been able to avoid those annoying glitches or speedbumps that could delay everything. After all, she had but one goal here, with 'graduation' only being a cover-up. Then again, who ever really thought about graduating that often in places like this? Other than seniors who were nearing the end of their year, getting by with classes and without a few bruises was hard enough, without having to think about something so sagacious as graduating.

Her first class would be a good time for her to just wake up from the early mornings- history. She could live through that. Heck, if she were lucky, it might even be somewhat interesting. Nevertheless, that was not so much Alice's focus presently. Sky-azure eyes glancing around the schoolyard, painted with the morning sun, the blonde waited to find a certain someone loitering about as only he could. Once her blue orbs would lock on his tall frame and brown hair, she would stride over to him, a casual, slightly sly grin on her face. Only... he had yet to show up.

And he was here! There was a plastic plate on his head because it made for a random but fun looking hat. Some others laughed at him because, well, it was a plate. Some laughed at him specifically for coming to the school like that. It did not matter to him, just as long as they were laughing, he was fine. Kind of ironic, since he could think of a depressing story that went around it. It was cheesy, but he was sure it might have touched someone. Not him, but most certainly someone. It was a child, and he was making jokes to have fun with the class. The jokes were about him, and people laughed. They laughed, they ended up making jokes about him too, which he laughed about. Push came to shove as they began to tease him, making fun of him, and he would just nervously laugh it off before eventually falling into depression. True story. According to a video on the internet, and the internet never lied~

So he was walking down to see her. The elegant blonde waiting on at the other side of the hallway. Her lips were pulled upwards, seems the strings above her head worked well for him, she never came to him once without that smile. Even if it was sly, it normally had good intent... Normally. Anyways, he would then greet her in the most random way possible. Hey Alice, how are ya? Informal, of course. What else could one expect from him? On top of that, he would take the plastic plate from his head and bow formally with it, just for fun before placing it back onto his head.

She moved from the schoolyard, unable to find Vincent, and entered the high school building casually. Some of it seemed familiar... somehow. Was it really, or was every public school for the upper four grades of life pretty much the same? Well, whether it was that or not, she had an inkling of why the placed seeped with nostalgia.

There he was, moving towards her, and with her strides, the couple would end up meeting in the middle. The plastic plate on his head... that was the first thing she observed, naturally, even if the object meant for placing food on was definitely not where it was supposed to be. He appeared to pretend it was a hat, and took it off and lowered in a bow, before placing it right back where it apparently belonged. The boy really had not changed one bit. "Morning, Vincent... trying to start a new trend so soon~?" Alice replied with her typical grin, despite her expression softening warmly as she began speaking, with a small giggle of amusement embedded within her tone.

Her amusement was evident with her grin smirking at him; however, the hint of her tone being a bit calm and controlled was beautiful. It relaxed him in a way, and he full-well knew why. The giggle at the end of it made it all so sweet as well. Of course, I am, you know me. This isn't quite the Yukino yet, though, any suggestions on that? It was as if nothing ever happened, even though so much definitely has. At this point, he figured that the world was so open to mysteries, nothing seemed as if it were real anymore. It was more a fantasy if anything, yet he was living it. Despite the realistic physics, there was to abide by, he allowed himself to be limited by them. Otherwise, he was just about free. But the feeling of challenge, it was all he wanted. And now Alice was there to support him. Not that she didn't before.

The Yukino? Catchy, undoubtedly. It was cute to a degree, at least with him, even if Alice really could have cared less about trends in general. Thankfully, it seemed this was all just another attempt at him messing around for attention, which was something she could entertain... even if she had no intention of ever putting a plastic plate on her head. "Other than balancing a stack of bowls on your head on top of that, no~" the blonde said, jokingly, of course, though she really would not be too surprised if somehow Vincent decided to take her silly suggestion. "So, what are you up to right now, other than showing off your special hat?" Alice continued, amusement still filling her tone as she spoke.

Nahhhhh, those bowls aren't worthy enough! And plastic plates were? His only hope at this point was that she did not point that out. However, this was Alice being talked about here, and she could catch onto the slightest detail. How much can really get past her? While she might claim nothing, he has proven that to be wrong in the past. And this was the human, limited version of her. The blonde would then ask what he was up to, and so he would then answer her honestly. I'm ready to skip some classes! As for you? What are you up to? He would return the question to her. At least he was honest though.

"Is that right?" Alice asked, chuckling, before her hand darted up to attempt to grab the plastic plate on his head. "And what makes this worthy then? It's not too impressive~" she would ask with a grin, studying the plate slightly before focusing her blue eyes back up at him. "If you could balance a few glass plates on your head, I may be just a bit more impressed~," she mused in a soft manner, despite the sly grin on her face betraying her amusement. Holding tight onto the plate to prevent him from snatching it back so soon, the blonde continued, raising an eyebrow in curiosity. "Skipping class so early on? Naughty~ you won't be learning much if you keep doing that," she commented, beginning to poke him gently in the arm with the plate, while still maintaining both a tight grip and a cheeky smile.

See, that plate was on my head, and that is an honor in itself. Be proud~ More jokes, and of course, he didn't really mean it. As she swiped the hat, he would then proceed to place his hands in his pockets, knowing full-well what she was trying to do at this point. She was trying to make him react to a plastic plate out of all things, as if it had any actual value at all. While attempting to poke him with it, he would end up attempting to grab her wrist, just as suddenly as she swiped his hat. Come on, you full well know I will make it. I did it in the past. I have my methods of course, but things still worked out in the end. Am I bad for doing that~?

He would catch her off guard as his hand quickly grabbed onto her wrist. Instead of panic or a big reaction, however, Alice simply chuckled and tried to grab the plastic plate with her free hand. With that, she would attempt to bop him in the head with it a few times, not hard or painfully, but simply to witness what would happen. It would not even be annoying, hopefully, but she really could never predict Vincent, could she? At the same time, he typically failed to predict her next moves as well. "Of course not~" she murmured with a sly tone and smirk to match, knowing full-well how he meant. She had planned on trying to attend her classes and gain some authority favor, but then again, skipping seemed just as fun~

She would grab the plate with her free hand, his own grip on her own before she would begin to pat him on the head a few times with it, just gently bopping, which he did not really mind, and would let go for the moment as she would reply simply. Besides, I need to train a lot more in order to get to, well, you know. It was true, this school required a LOT of training. While he did have the option of using QI, it was nowhere near as fun and tends for him to actually have the knowledge and memorize things. In the end, the Yukino was a bright one, but he never really applied himself to the work. It was a shame, or so his teachers told him, because he could go really far if he was willing to put in work. But he blocked out their lectures, they never meant much to him, if not anything at all.

"Mm, so skip class, cause trouble, and pick fights... a great course of action," she said in a chipper manner with a wink, attempting to bop him one more time with the plate. Her words were half-sarcastic, but somewhat accurate as well. He was not exactly here to just play around and do the 'right thing' by doing his studies and graduating. Hell no, he was far more ambitious than that, and she was too. After all, was she not here for him, in the end? "Seeing as that's pretty much the majority of what you plan to do today, why don't we warm you up first, with a tiny spar~?" Alice asked in a sincere and innocent manner, only slightly contradicted by her cunning smile.

She would get him with the final bop without resistance before he would reply to her comment about it. He proudly nodded his head with a confident smile and his eyes half-closed. Yup, that's pretty much it. Oh, and dynamic entrances and royal paper plates. Or plastic. Eh, whatever. Her idea of a little training was the brought up, which made him tilt his head to the side. If she was so sure... Well, as long as he did not actually strike her face, he would most likely be fine, right? As no blood, can't be having any of that. But they started out at about just the same time anyways, so nothing should be that big of a deal, or so he would like to assume anyways. So he would step back a bit for good distance before nodding his head, accepting her challenge. All right, sure! Since you challenged me though, I choose who makes the first move. And that's you, M'lady.

Plastic plates... he really never was one to disappoint, was he? She kept a hold on the plastic plate, and was happy to hear that he accepted her challenge. Alice doubted that he would have ever extended such an offer to her, even if it was for training. He was much too nice of a person to want to instigate a physical fight with a girl like her, after all, or at least, so she would think. Again, he never failed to surprise her at times, and she loved having the option to anticipate.

Vincent requested that she make the first move, which was not too uncommon when a fight began. A simple 'you first' would have sufficed, but not for the brown-haired flirt right before her. Holding a clever grin and with a brilliant mischievous gleam entering her bright blue eyes, Alice slowly reached up the plastic plate and attempted to tap him on the head once again, rather gently, before taking an agile leap back. Were her calculations correct, they would be about evenly matched in their strength, speed, and stamina. The last thing she wanted was to deliver the first hit; as that would leave her wide open and him well prepared to counter. So she made her first 'hit' very simple, the tap with the plate, and casually put up her guard and prepared for him to advance.
Ah, it really had been a while since Alice had done this. Nevertheless, she was ready.

There she was, always having to play. She technically did a move onto him, so he might as well just play along. Well, he was always such a simple-minded student. Smartass. The Yukino would comment onto her move before he would carry out his move. What he would do is pursue her, charging at a controlled speed so he had good enough movement, but can also stop himself if he needed to. And if successful, he would aim to aim a straight hook to the face. Yeah, it was just all about what he could do right now. Punching too low results in a kick to the arm, punching from the side results with less options to counter with. Her dodging, blocking, or even trying to hit the arm would end up giving him options on how to capitalize. And if she attacked a different area to counter, his stance was controlled as he planned it to be, so he gave himself a versatile set of options. How she would react will end up triggering a different result

"Flattered," Alice replied with a wink in response to his comment. Smartass? "I have a good teacher~"
After all, Vincent had his own bit of sass, and whether or not she had picked up on his or was using her own measures of being cocky, Alice would still comment in a lighthearted and amused manner. He would charge towards her, as she expected, no longer playing games. The aim was obvious, and if he hit her hard enough, it would definitely hurt. With the plastic plate still in her grasp, she would grip onto it with both hands and ram it against his knuckles, then tilt the back of it upwards to push his arm up. As the blonde did this, she would she would lift her leg and attempt to send her foot right into his stomach with a heavy kick. No counters; she was attempting to dedicate all she had into this kick, and hopefully send him backwards. After all, her hands were occupied by the plate, which could be a good or bad thing. At the very least, the girl hoped she had bruised his knuckles some.
