History Information
History: “It’s still not enough…”
I brought the metal bokken through the air at incredible speed, enough to create a small gust of wind. Lifting it back up, I looked down at the hilt, narrowing my eyes. My body still wasn’t in the same shape it had been before. I wasn’t fast enough… I wasn’t strong enough… The super soldier serum had depleted in my body. I was just human now.
When I was a kid, I had some medical issues. It wasn’t anything too bad, but I had a weak heart. I had to be careful not to over exert myself when I played, took some medicine. Even had a special diet I had to maintain. Doctor’s visits were a pain, but when you’re the heir of Yuy Corp, people bend over backwards for you.
Then my childhood changed. You see, this is gonna sound a bit cliched, but my brother was about to be run over by a truck, big one too. So of course… being the older brother, I protected him. I pushed my brother out of the way. The result was my body being struck down. This was the first time I experienced death. But the science experts at Yuy Corp did the impossible. They brought me back, by introducing my body to the super soldier serum. I wouldn’t find out until years later, but this was the moment I became Project Guardian.
Suddenly, I could do things much easier than before. I had never realized how sheltered my life had been before. I could run as much and as fast as I want. I could have fun like everyone else. It was amazing. I loved every second of it. I ended up joining the soccer team. I was competitive… maybe a touch too competitive. Whatever this serum had done to my body, it had also messed with my brain chemistry, making me angrier. Angry enough to one day start a riot on the field. I beat down the entire other team. I was so angry I even took out some of my teammates.
Ever since then I bounced around from High School to High School. My thirst for combat grew more and more intense. I fought… I fought nearly anyone that came my way, toppling the School Captains and their Pillars in every school. Along the way my abilities grew. On top of increased strength, speed, intelligence, durability, and endurance, the super soldier serum also gave me the ability to harness electricity. While I was shocked by it at first, this ability didn’t appear to be out of the norm among the schools I traveled through.
Finally, it appeared that one day I had pissed off enough of those School Captains. The school I was about to transfer into caught wind of the rumors about me. So they created an alliance, a coalition to defeat me. 5 School Captains and 15 Pillars joined this alliance. It was finally the challenge I was looking for. I was finally able to fight to my full potential, my dream. Unfortunately for me, it didn’t come without a price. The super soldier serum depleted inside of my body, meaning I lost all of my abilities.
So I left that City. No I fled. I ran. I would have been killed in that city if I had stayed. I made too many enemies… My body was as vulnerable as a regular human being… No that’s not true. It was more vulnerable. This weak heart of mine was dying unless I could somehow reharness my powers. So I went to the other side of the country, where no one knew my name. But here I am on my first day of school, training in my backyard with a sword. I sighed and slashed through the air with the metal bokken.
