Arianna yawned lightly as she exited LA County + USC Medical Centre and crossed the street to meander into Hazard Park. Between the roll beneath her arm, a water bottle, and a fresh change of clothes from scrubs to shorts and a tank top with a comfortable sports bra. Despite being tired there was an easy swing in her step.
Yoga in the park was often how she ended her work days.
At least, those that ended in daylight. If not, it was yoga at home.
The blonde hummed a little, feeling a slight pang. She would miss this park. There was probably a few around a certain Mister David Blaze's hospital, but she wasn't familiar with the area and hadn't bothered to look at her maps to figure it out. It was weird, leaving what you knew to go somewhere new and change everything. If it was only money he was offering, the eldest Barrial sister wouldn't have even blinked before turning him down. But because of what the hospital stood for - affordable health care that wasn't bankrupting people and still gave world class care - she entertained the thought. And...well. It was just three more days in her notice period before she would be moving over. It wasn't the safest. She could still hear David's words ring in her ears, but it was what she wanted, and he couldn't sway her even though he's tried.
Besides...with the transition, she planned on being there for a bit tonight and tomorrow night, certainly. Perhaps even her last night, if the wonderful colleagues she had didn't steal her away.
The blonde spread the mat and made herself comfortable.
Closing her eyes, she began a series of deep breaths, focusing on drawing up energy and calm.
