Few people could have recognized the unique roaring of Fenrir's engine as Cale brought the hulking all terrain bike to a stop outside of the school, but those that might have would know immediately that he had returned. Maneuvering the bike into a spot, Cale took full advantage of his status as an SHCP member as he withdrew each piece of Ragnarok's full composition, building the blade in the parking lot before sliding it over his shoulder and magnetically locking it into place. There was an audible groan as he swung himself off of the bike, the combined weight of Cale himself and Ragnarok lifting from the suspension, before he slid his hands into his pockets and began striding casually back into the school.
He had granted himself a small respite from Public Highschool 259 following the stable creation of the first of his sword's planned forms to perfect the design away from the prying eyes of the weapons manufacturer who had let him use the labs. A part of him was certain some bespectacled engineer had likely kept at least one of the prototype blueprints to try and make a quick buck, but he had the original, real deal. If anyone started walking around with his tech it'd be easy to break the weapon to pieces, along with the wielder.
As he came close to the front doors the bell to begin classes rang, and Cale stopped with his glove near the handle. Was he REALLY ready to head back to humdrum schoolwork?
... probably not.
Instead, Cale turned and made his way around the corner before hopping up onto the roof of the school and striding across the rooftops to take a shortcut into the school's fields towards the back. He flipped down, landing in the grass with more grace than someone would expect from a man with a greatsword, before he found a nice spot in some of the football field's bleachers and set Ragnarok down leaning against the bench, kicking his feet up to lie on the warming steel and enjoy the light breeze. The one thing missing was a mouthful of gummy worms, an issue quickly remedied with a hand into one of his pockets.
Yep. It was good to be back.

Well, that certainly wasn't right at all.
A pair of blue eyes blinked from further back in the main foyer, as one of the newer editions to the Staff watched the teenagers bump and shuffle towards class as the bells began to chime. The figure through the windows made her do a double-take. Oh, not the person, but, the weapon strapped to his back.
Then...the person - 'No, a teen' the blonde figured, her brow furrowing - turned and moved..? Where?
The blonde - short, by all manner of means, though tall enough considering she was standing on a set of stairs with her back lightly leaning against the wall - slowly slipped from her standing perch to move through the bodies that were thankfully at least semi-focused on getting to class. She moved like a hot knife through butter and slowly pushed the door open a little, looking in the direction the teen with his weapon had disappeared to. Around the corner he went.
Kyrie frowned, and, as she didn't have a music class first period to teach...she followed.
Cautiously, of course. Carefully. Quietly.
What on earth..? Why on earth..? How on earth..?
As she peered around the corner she found the teen had mysteriousl—with a look above, she found that 'mysteriously disappeared' was a bit presumptive of her. So, being that she was both curious and concerned for the student body as a whole, the blonde quickly made her way up, after, utilizing her skill as a traceur to follow.
All the while being thankful she decided against wearing heels.
She hung over the edge at the top, bracing her feet and knees against the side of the building to peer over and watch...him simply jump down.
Why had she accepted David's urging to become faculty, again..?
A frown marring her lips and drawing her brow down, she hoisted herself up and onto the roof to make a bee-line for the side the kid leaped from to watch as he... Dusting her hands off with a sigh, Kyrie swung herself over the lip of the roof and fell, floor by floor, her hands and feet catching the windowsills on the way down and landing against the side of the school, respectively, until she hit the grass. It was going to be a weird day, if she was any judge of these first few minutes. Instead of sneaking, the petite blonde simply brushed her hands against her black pants and walked to where the teen was sunning himself on the bleachers. She'd done a good job of keeping her clothes dust and dirt free, and simply adjusted the edge of her blazer as she drew to a stop. Those blue eyes of hers sized the kid up, and she guessed he had almost a foot of height on her. And weight? Well...yes. Obviously, he was heavier.
"Good morning. Weapons are not permitted on school grounds, so I have to ask you to relinquish the greatsword." Yes. Yes, it was certainly not just a sword. The blonde's head tipped to the side a little.
Quite anticlimactic, no?

Cale heard the bleachers creaking as someone approached, but he didn't bother to open his eyes. Either it was a prying student, or it was a prying teacher. In either case, he wasn't all too keen on people prying. And sure enough, the moment he heard her words he realized it was a teacher. The older voice, the condescending tone, but this wasn't one he was familiar with. He hadn't met too much of the staff, most of the weaker faculty members just kept out of his way, but this one had some balls.
She also didn't seem too well informed.
"I'm SHCP," he responded, lazily pulling a small badge out from a pocket and flipping it open to glint in the light. "So don't touch my sword. And I'm here on official business." Officially not caring about attending class, at least.
"Don't you have a class to lecture or something?" With that, Cale slid his badge away and moved his hands up underneath his head as a pillow, resting the back of his skull on his palms while he crossed his legs. The choppy spikes on his head moved about in the light breeze as he waited for the teacher to leave, never having bothered to open his eyes.

A pale brow slowly hiked its way up into an arch.
For the second time in only the span of a few minutes she found herself wondering, again...
"Hm, well that is interesting. Nowhere in the rules did I seea member of the SHCP would be granted use of a bladed weapon. Every example given was that of a blunt weapon. May I inquire as to the nature of your official business, then?"
Contrary to Cale's interpretation, her tone wasn't condescending.
Yet.
Her head tipped itself the other way. Thus far she'd been polite. Respectful instead of whipping in and pointing fingers or smashing her fist against his face like - doubtless - some other faculty would be so inclined. And so far she'd been greeted with a flippant teen that, in her first impression, believed he ran the world because he had a fancy title.

And contrary to Kyrie's opinion, Cale didn't think he ran the world. In all honesty he didn't want to, he just didn't want the people who did to get in his way.
"Go check again," he quipped, stretching out a bit on the bench and crossing his legs. "Perfectly acceptable. Besides, Ragnarok has blunt sides so there you go."
"As for the nature of my investigation, no you may not," he continued. "It would undermine the integrity of my assignment and put the entire thing at risk. Don't you have a class to teach or something?" He never opened his eyes, enjoying the light breeze as it ruffled his choppy spikes.
Such a nice day. He didn't want to ruin it by having to remind a teacher why it was the faculty usually steered clear of the SHCP.
Yet.
