Personality: For one thing he talks some mad shit. Always trying to be number one at everything he does. Majority of the time he wants a fight. He is very prideful and arrogant when it comes to the way the world works. He will beat you at your best and use whatever he has to to get there. He is bored easily by things such as small talk or silence, however in contrast to this he enjoys reading.

History Information

History: Born and raised in sunny California. His parents were slightly wealthy and liked to flaunt it with their spending. When the war broke out this made them a primary target in the beginning and it wasn't pretty. John's home was destroyed, ransacked and he was used for labor by pillagers and scavangers, never knowing what happened to his family besides he believes himself to be the only survivor. He was also used to the people around him being temporary and generally just pieces of shit.

He was but 8 years old when a rallying cry broke through the dawn morning light. Some military force was sweeping through town and taking control. When the smoke cleared it was some group calling themselves Cabal, led by a young man named Zack Asiv. Zack took him in as like an adopted son, training him and instilling in him the way of the land, loyalty and how to defend himself. Before he came of age to join the war it ended and Cabal had carved out a huge chunk of the world for its self. Being the technically adopted son of Zack Asiv the leader of Cabal had some perks, but besides that not much. When it was discovered he had a Qi power awaken one day during routine training, he felt destiny had pointed him in the right direction.

Though instead of sticking it out in Cabal John was picked up by The Gods as a peace offering and became the new Hephaestus. Though he later rejoined Cabal, he maintains his title with the Gods.

Qi Name: Raging Flame
John is capable of generating heat from within his body, stoking a fire with the air he breathes. By striking his Qi against the air molecules around him he can create fire.

Strength: John is virtually immune to the fire or heat that he puts off himself.

Weakness: He is not immune to fire from other sources, has trouble using his Qi if he gets wet.

Flame Thrower: John can fire a vortex of flames from his hands adding half his energy stat to his energy stat..

Blazing Strike: John ignites a point of his attacks in an intense fire adding 1/2 his Energy to his Attack.

Magic Missile: John crashes intense fire together in his hands causing an intense blue flame, he can then launch two projectiles that rocket forth like missiles that explode in 10 ft bursts of blue flames doing 125% his energy stat in damage. There is a charge time required of 1 post.

Bring The Heat: By exuding heat waves John makes the temperature in the surrounding area increase by 10 degrees making all "Heat" or "Fire" type attacks stronger by +4. Can stack up to four times.

Flame Shot!: John creates a large ball of fire suspended in the air near him, they are sustained only if "Bring The Heat" is active, and is able to launch it by hitting it at any one person, it explodes in a 5 ft radius doing 125% his energy in damage.

Rupture!: John can strike the ground channeling Qi into it causing an intense white flame to rip through the ground just under the surface towards his target, to explode throwing shrapnel and fire everywhere doing 125% John's energy in damage.

Fire Lord Level 1: +4 Energy John's body Erupts in flame armor, his eyes smoke and glow.

Raging Inferno: John's fire takes on a golden flame color, covering his body entirely, as if it were his very skin that were on fire. This transformation lasts for 4 posts and increases the damage of all of his attacks by 125% his energy stat.

Bloodline

Rancor - John is able to hold on to the damage of an attack that strikes him and throw it back at his enemy with demonic fire. He is able to stack damage for multiple posts equal to his energy.

Rebirth of the Sun [Qi Mutation]: Activating this ability covers you in solar fire for a few seconds in a sudden inferno that envelopes you. This can heal all of your wounds every time it's activated however it lowers all of your stats by -5. Does not restore lost stamina.

This Canister has a Qi Crystal in it that increases the effects of any consumable used with it by +18, and increases the time of the effect by 1 post.

Chest: 'I still have all ten fingers' shirt: +3 Atk, +5 Def
First blow John takes to the chest automatically backlashes the damage onto his opponent, with 1/4th damage done to him. Activates only once per thread, John must state in his opening post that he is wearing this shirt. (Scorpion Carapace: +5 Def)

Hands: Hands of the House of Horrors: +1 Atk, +1 Per, +5 Def - When these gloves make contact with an opponent, they are instilled with fear. They lose 1/2 their perception for the next three posts. May be used twice per thread. (Scorpion Spine Armor: This inlay armor can be added to any item giving that item +5 Def.)

Legs: Divine Jeans: +3 PER, +1 ATK, +1 DEF
Power Tattoo [ADD-ON]: This tattoo glows when needed adding +5 to a chosen stat. If there are any other Power Tattoo's in a thread they also activate. The Tattoos connect and add all bonuses to each other. (If one person activates it and gets +5 Atk, it activates someone elses tattoo, they choose +5 Spd, both get +5 Atk and +5 Spd.)

Feet: Eruption Boots: +10 Eng +6 Spd +6 Def Once a thread John can stomp on the ground with the might of a God, doing so causes the land to shake and change violently as part of Hephestos' forge is summoned, the ground becomes hot with pockets of steam and magma shooting from the ground in a 20ft radius. All fire damage and effects are doubled, any allied 'God' characters in the forge are granted enhanced weapons and armor, +5 Atk and Def. (Forge lasts for 4 posts)

Hephaestus Hammer: +6 Atk, +3 Spd, +3 Eng
Description: John's hammer is a formed solid hunk of steel. It's three foot handle is only offset by the lump of metal on one end rounded and flattened for maximum blunt force trauma. Can return to his hand by will.
Ability: Four times a thread John can hit an object with this hammer turning it into a temporary item that gives +8 to a single stat. Items created this way lose their bonuses at the end of the thread.

Misc:
Blade of the Ill-blooded: +4 Atk - This blade is black, and seems to hiss as it stabs someone. When ones need is great enough, it might just answer the call...
Ability: Metamorphic Launch - This ability alters itself entirely when the need of the item wearer is great enough. (Tag GM David B. at a moment of intense pain or near death to unlock this ability)

This helmet doubles as an advanced PT. Giving the wearer access to technology, thermal sensors, scanning an area, communicating, x8 zoom, sound amplification to hear long distances. It also garners your character extra respect from Vindicta as it is recognized as a symbol of a legendary warrior.

"My mod was late" business card - If John dies, this card burns up and John returns to life with major wounds healed. Minor wounds (cuts, scrapes, bruises) are still present. He gets 5 more Qi uses and feels rejuvenated.

Bottle of the Good Stuff (Consumable): Drinking from the bottle of the good stuff gives you the ability to push past your limits, giving you a second wind returning half of your stamina and half of your Qi uses. Can only be used 2 times across all threads before it's empty.

John gets Oscar Meyer's broken wiener consumable - John may consume the wiener to fully heal all wounds and negate recovery time for them. If eaten seductively, he also regains five Qi uses.
