[Damien Blaze]

Damien furrowed his brow but kept up his gentle rubbing. He quelled the outrage he felt, instead deciding that he would speak with his brother later. Were it up to him, he'd contact his friends in CIA B.L.O.C. and have Robert and his familiar erased from the face of the earth....but he knew that Kyrie would never forgive him for that. She didn't want to be with a murderer.

And he didn't want to be one.

"That's fucked....I'll contact Rick and Jen, get our firm on it too. They'll have fifteen lawyers to deal with if they want her. And...just in case something goes wrong..."

He decided not to say anything, glancing up at David. The elder Blaze knew what he was going to say.

They'd have an exit strategy.

David glanced back at Damien after Arianna sooooort of turned him down. He gave a little smile and cocked an eyebrow. Damien had encouraged him to ask the sister out, but David was certain that the lady wouldn't be interested. She didn't quite say that- just that she's not as interested in dates as she is in dinner. He'd turn back to Arianna and give a little nod.

"Lunch it is, then! I'll send you the deets later, shall I?"

He'd aim to step around her. Now that Damien was here, he didn't have to be. He'd turn to the younger one and clear his throat.

"Damien- I'll stop by said firm and get things started there. I'll also have a chat with the father."

And so, he would take his leave!

"That's fair."

Arianna cocked a brow between the two Blazes, at the exchange. Well...if Kyrie wanted to say anything, she would, but Arianna knew her sister well enough that right now she said nothing.

Well...she probably didn't have to be there, but—

There was still subtle tension rolling off him. And her. But the former made her eyes crack, and she turned her head to look back at the potentially ominous words.

Her jaw flexed a moment but it was David's words that brought her own out.

"Please do not contact Robert senior at the moment. Or Elaine. This does not need to get any more messy than it is." Despite her firm words, there was a clear undertone of exhaustion. A wrong move, an overstep, and she didn't know what would happen. Part of her didn't want the extra lawyers on it, being it was her family, her daughter...but at the same time, she wanted all the help she could get, because it was her daughter.

David:

He'd blink and nod, giving in to her request. He was confident he could make the parents go away but....he wasn't the parent of the child so.

He'd turn and leave as expected.


Damien:

He would crouch next to Kiyr, turning her in the chair a little. Meeting her gaze, he'd would gently take her hand.

"I'm here for you, okay? We won't let anyone take her away."

He would glance at Arianna, totally fine with her hanging out for a while if she wanted. For the time being, he'd lean up to give Kiyr an easy, gentle kiss before heading into the kitchen to clean a little.

Kyrie shifted on the couch at the gentle pull, turning to face Damien. She was quescient as he spoke, but eased her fingers through his.

"Okay."

Her lashes shut and she returned the kids with a gentle brush of her fingertips against his jaw, and then let him go do his own thing to deal with his own response to the news. Her eyes slowly turned to Arianna and her lips curved a little. A tiny, tired smile.

"You are welcome to stay, if you want, or you can go get some sleep if you would rather."

Bless her. Arianna smiled and moved over to give her a hug.

"You look like you could use the sleep more than I could. Rest and relax with Damien a bit, okay? I'll be here, too, if you need me. I'll leave after I finish this."

She sat, slowly, and sipped her drink. David would bring his glass back, she was certain. Unless he left it by the door. She wasn't sure but didn't check.
