Melanie blinked awake. She looked around to see a large empty room. Old. Dusty. Forgotten in time. Great. This was going to suck majorly. She tried to bring a hand to her face but was restrained, looking down, she'd notice she was bound in chains. "What the hell?" Melanie cursed at her chains a few times. Apparently the people or person who napped her were used to people who were a lot stronger. Ropes? No problem. Chains, mild issue. Could she get out? Sure. All she had to do was to escape using her Qi. Melanie took a deep breath, steadied herself, and.... Nothing. OK... maybe it was a fluke. Here we go again... Nothing. Again...? Nothing. Melanie really wasn't sure what was going on now. She knew how to use her Qi. She had practiced quite a bit. Ever since that weird guy with the shoes had attacked her in the alley, she had been practicing. Out of the next room came a laugh. A man with dark sandy blonde hair emerged. He was tall, muscular, blue eyes, strong jaw. She recognized him from somewhere. But where? "Hello.... Melanie. It is I, you nemesis. NyteBlade! Dark Sword!"
Melanie could only stare. Was... Was that... No, It couldn't be... Could it? "Is it you? No, It could not be. You died. I saw your body lying upon the pile of bones in that land... That land we can not speak of..."
Melanie turned her head dramatically and looked to the side, looking away from the man. "Josh Birk John Brickley, I... thought I knew you. You have..... Betrayed me."
Why was Melanie being so dramatic? How did she know who he was? Why couldn't she use her Qi? --------------- Outside of the simulation, a man watched the screen intently. Melanie was perfectly preforming her part. It wouldn't be too long before her movie was over. Josh Birk/John BrickleyNyteBlade/DarkSword

notes here. @ words: #### | Something was wrong-oh so terribly wrong. Algernon ran with hastened feet toward the barn previously. If she remembered correctly, there was a building behind it which might house the source of #259's problems. Or, some of them at least. Velia walked cautiously around the barn to find a large shack or warehouse of some sort. Looking above, one could notice a rather large satellite dish. ("That must be the source.") She assured herself. Mooi walked to the front door. Locked. --------------------------------------------------------------- It was the strangest of days. Surely, a quarter of the student population can't all be sick, right? A large number just went missing. The worst thing is; it could have happened anytime from 3:00pm yesterday to 7:00am this morning. Algernon sat at her desk, curious as to why no missing reports have been filed outside of the school. Being technical specialist, it was really Moo's job to handle the tedious stuff like this. Surely the staff can get on it, but that leaves the students unguarded for if things were to repeat themselves. "Being a containment school, we should really be able to "contain" what few students we're assigned." Mooi sighed as she examined her desktop. "What a disaster." Suddenly, Velia noticed her computer disconnected to the school network. In response, Velia went to the network menu. "The wifi is fine so what could have-...!?" A notification popped up. "Something is interfering with the connection." Troubleshoot options revealed themselves, however, Mooi instead opened up a program revealing signals sent in from different city locations. It must be a hidden network. Surely enough, there was a signal somehow coming in from the outskirts of town. The location was an abandoned farm. This already sounds suspicious. Surely, this wasn't here before.
Algernon has her first lead. With the farm in thought, she left the S.H.C.P office. ------------------------------------------------------------
Mooi examined the door's surface and material. Wood, as expected. It's old, so picking the lock may not be necessary. Brute force will be the deciding factor here. Setting her laptop down outside, Velia cocked the Sucker Punch before aiming at the lock. With a literal fist of fury, the door was busted open. The lock remained at it's previous position, leaving the turning door fly open. Mooi stepped in as the man of question was revealed before her eyes. "S.H.C.P! Explain yourself!"
This could be considered very smart, or very stupid.

Made by Sifr @ THQ. (OOC:If anything conflicts with what you want to happen, make sure to tell me! I need to know if I goof up somewhere.) Weapon InfoMisc:Sucker-Punch Stat Bonus:+10 Attack When in Use Description:A comical spring-based gun which throws forth a boxing glove when triggered. After being used, the spring retracts, bringing the glove back where it belongs. This weapon is notorious for causing nosebleeds in it's unfortunate victims. In addition to the glove launching forward about three feet, it can be used as a close quarters weapon as well, since the gun can be swung around just as well as any other blunt weapon. Unfortunately, the shape of the weapon can be considered awkward in some cases. It may prove easy for balance to be lost when attacking or defending close-quarters. In addition to this, it has to be re-cocked every...single...time...you use it. Happy Hunting!

DarkSword turned back around to face the window overlooking a large city.
"You... Don't understand, Melanie. You never did. I... Always loved... You."
Melanie's head came back up slowly. Her eyes grazed over his muscles and down his long red cloak.
"I'm... Sorry, DarkSword. I can never be with you. I...... I love HIM."
DarkSword turned around at this, tears forming in his eyes.
"I know... You could never love... A monster! But, Melanie! Don't you know... He killed.......... YOUR PARENTS!"
Melanie was so shocked she tried to push back from the information, causing her chair to fall backward.
"It... Can't be true! I won't believe it!"
Tears stung her eyes as images rolled over the screen[Literally]. HIM. Her parents, cowering in fear. Betrayal. Death. Blood.
"How... How could HE?"
Her silent sobs filled the room. DarkSword made his way to her side and pushed her hair out of her face.
"I know... It's hard to hear. But, it's... The truth!"
------------------
The man spun around at the sound of the door being slammed open.
"How did you find this place? It matters not. I will end you just like I will end her!"
He comes at Mooi with gloved hands and a long needle.

What was he talking about? A switch seemed to flip in Algernon's head. She looked to where the man was previously watching to see a monitor showing...a soap opra? ("What...?") Velia was left with little time to think, seeing as the man before her quickly turned hostile; taking out a needle. Well...how to handle this? Velia's saphire orbs darted back and forth as she attempted to formulate a plan. She had but a few seconds. ("There, that needle is dangerous. If I can get rid of that-...") Mooi took a breath and charged toward the mystery man. Once she came in a 3-foot radius, she would quickly transition into a moving crouch. Following this, she would pull the trigger on the Sucker Punch. Target:Dark Sword's needle. Her eyes didn't dare look away from his. With any luck, this would slam the life out of his hand, causing him to let go of the weapon. Regardless of the outcome, Velia's next move would be to transition into a jump. The distance between the two would shorten as Mooi directed her knee for a decisive blow to Dark Sword's crotch.
Not much can be said aloud in this sort of situation. The girl with a hand forever to her chin |

Melanie locked eyes with the mad she had once loved. How could he think he was such a mad monster?
"You don't have to be a monster. You can help me. Help me destroy him."
Had she broken the simulation? Or had she just had too much drama for a day?
"You... You don't want that... Melanie. I might be... A Monster, but that doesn't mean I kill people for fun."
Melanie scowled back up at him.
"You once said you love me... If you still do, them help me! Help me, and... I'll be with you forever!"
------------------
The Professor's eyes were locked with the young lady's. Perfect. They say the eyes are the windows to the soul. It is relatively simple to read someone during a fight if you can just read their eyes. They always tell you what the person will do next. In this case, it was mostly true. Not the eye reading part, it was the body reading part.
You see, John Brickley had trained (not a whole lot, but enough) in the art of reading another's movements. He could tell that the girl was striking for his hand, he'd move his hand upward slightly right before contact and would step to the side slightly, her foot coming for his 'nads would hit his thigh instead, it still hurt like a mother fucker, but at least it didn't hit on point.
His and with the needle would come round as he side stepped around her effectively wrapping his arms around her. (He is behind you with one arm around your neck) His other hand would move to grab her right rm and hoist it behind her. If she obeyed, he would move her to the table and lay her over it. (bending you over a table) Coincidentally they would be beside the unconscious body of Melanie. John would hook his feet behind the girls to be sure she couldn't kick him.
Mooi would feel a sharp pain in the back of her neck as a serum was injected into her brain stem. Soon she would lose consciousness and he would inject her mind into the simulation alongside Melanie. The in-game Persona would surely end them both. What John didn't account for, was that they were a part of the same company and were stronger in numbers.

notes here. @tagged words: #### | It was all over when the disarmament failed. A stressed "No!" was barely audible from Mooi as the blunder was made. Her knee connected.-at the wrong point that is, only further causing things to fall apart. Velia would drop her weapon when John's hand would restrain her right arm. Luckily, his hands were all used up; leaving Algernon with one usable arm. That was really all she needed anyway. As John moved her toward the table, she would breath rapidly. What little momentum could be stolen from the forward movement contributed to Mooi's subtle left arm thrust. A smartphone slid out of her left sleeve. As the phone would begin to exit, Mooi would lift a finger to touch the screen, ultimately hitting the "send" button on a pre-written message. From the phone, the message would be sent straight to her own email address. To further elaborate on Mooi's careful planning, she had her office computer open to her email account. The message should open upon arrival. Hopefully, Cale or someone will see it. The message contained coordinates to Mooi's current location. Unfortunately, it isn't likely that Velia will be alive to see her plan succeed. As she was laid on the table, Mooi took note of an unconscious girl. She know her, but the girl seemed familiar...ah! That's right. The girl's name is Melanie Ross. She's one of Mooi's "lost" student info entries. Not much is really known about her. The phone hit the ground after what seemed like forever. This didn't seem to matter much to Mooi, as a pain in her neck(probably the syringe) began to distract her from any clear thinking. A short yelp of pain was let loose before Velia began to loose consciousness. ---------------------------------------------------- Mooi awoke in a strange location. She had yet to open her eyes. Two other's could be heard talking in the background. The voices were familiar. Mooi rose to her feet clumsily. Ah, it was that Melanie girl and...some other guy. Mooi quickly realized that this was the Soap Opera she saw earlier. Problem being:It isn't a soap opera. This seems much more life-threatening. Is this where all of the students went? Mooi decided to watch on from the sidelines. It seems her weapon didn't travel with her, so she's basically useless combat-wise. The girl with a hand forever to her chin |

The simulation glitched for a short moment and then was fine, as if nothing happened. Dark Sword moved closer to Melanie, lowering his face to hers. "You would stay with me? Even if i were..." He paused and closed his eyes tight. "A monster...?" By his side, his fist would clench tightly around a blade on his thigh. Melanie's face would move closer to his, their lips barely touching. "I would. Even if you think you are... I will love you none-the-less in spite of it." Their lips crashed together as Dark Sword brought his mouth to hers. His hand slowly brought the blade out of it's sheath and raised it above his head. Sitting up swiftly, breaking the kiss with a loud smack, he would bring the blade down swiftly into her chest(unless stopped) "I COULD NEVER MAKE YOU A MONSTER LIKE ME!! DON'T YOU SEE I LOVE YOU?"
