Tatum i walked through the streets. It was summer. FINALLY! Not like anything had really changed. He was still in the city and couldn't leave, but he was able to fight! ... If there was any one around. He sat on a bench near the playground. This was one of his first fights here. The drug dealer, as it were. His blood was gone. Not even a stain lay where he body had lay on the ground. Takumi felt a pang of respect for the people who made their way around cleaning up after the students who loved to cause trouble. He sighed contently as he lay his head back against the bench.
"I really wish someone was here to fight..." He mused to him self.

Walking through the city and coughing lightly, Tobias was feeling the weakness in his body growing. Every day was getting worse for him and as his hand came away from his mouth there was a bit of blood on his hand that was flung away as he shook his hand towards the side. Pulling out his pipe and filling it, Tobias lit it with a match as he enjoyed the morning air. It was pleasant to him that it was chilly in the morning before the heat strikes later on in the day. The area was also clear of people as he moved into the playground and smiled to himself. Someone else had came early to the area and it seemed like the person was bored by the body language displayed.
"Are there no arcades to destroy or stores to rob?"
Tobias purposely taunted the person to see how he would respond. To see if he was another person who sought out challenges, Tobias let a bit of his bloodlust out into the area and the side of his mouth curled up as a wicked smile started to form. Most fighters could control their bloodlust and desire to fight, but few could completely contain it without training. He had come across others more skilled in the area than he, but he was no slouch in the ability. Just rusty.
"Shouldn't you be running off to your school before you are tardy?"

Takumi was almost asleep by the time a new voice awoke him from near slumber. The weather was at its best for this time of year, it wasn't too god-awful hot and it wasn't cold either. It was perfect. He responded in a low growl.
"Oh, go blow it out your ass, old timer."
He didn't know if the person was older than he, but judging by the way he spoke, it seemed likely enough a story. He still had his head laid back and his eyes remained closed. He was more than content to sleep off whatever was ailing him from the night before. He had been there for too long. It had at least been two hours. and NOW someone dared to show up? In the morning? Dude. That's just rude.
"Natsu no gakkō gaishutsu...Baka." He'd let the last word slip out as a smile crawled over his face.

I may not understand that language, but that last word I do. Japanese, hm?
" Níl ach maslaí amadán eile ionas go saor. Foghlaim meas agus béasaíocht, leon óg. Tá do focal dúshlán go leor chun an mac tíre. Praiseach ní leis an dragan." (Gaelic Translation for those that speak it: Only a fool insults another so freely. Learn respect and etiquette, young lion. Your words are challenge enough for the wolf. Mess not with the dragon.)
Tobias initially said his words to tease and provoke a response, but the response was a sad excuse and not at all something that he was unfamiliar with. Insults came flying back and still the person laid upon the bench while stating such. Well, it is not like Tobias could blame this person. Tit for tat. Insult for insult. It was just..... underwhelming. Where is the fiery spirit, the spark to challenge? Where is the one that bucks at the chains of society to free themselves of such and pave their own path? Has the will to challenge and fight for one's belief faded from the world? Has the pain and weight of the previous generation shackled this current generation to much?
Tobias was always searching. Searching for a successor and a challenge. His blood craved the fight and lately he has been disappointed with what he has found. He would speak quietly as sadness came into his eyes and the pain in his heart grew. Another failure after so many before this. It cut deep into his heart and soul.
"What a disappointment."

Sitting against a tree, book in hand (20,000 Leagues under the Sea), Em watched the two verbally spar. She was enjoying her summer as much as the next student, though unlike them she felt that same enjoyment in school. Emily loved to get stronger, to expand herself. That meant mental fortitude as well, which was why she got straight A's. Still, she kept an eye out and an ear to the ground, watching the other students around her grow as well.
This one, The red head....was one of those fighters from the big blow out the stupid Captain had set up with intent to find the strongest in the school. Coincidence brought her here, despite him being on her short list. She was reading, he came over and sat down nearby. The kid had an itch he wished to scratch and that worried her.
Now this other one...the one talking. A relic of a time long past, she was sure. She saw how certain people carried themselves, and this one was one of those.
She would seem to continue reading her book, like she was ignoring them, but would listen and watch with interest.

With disappointment in his heart, Tobias reached down and picked up a couple of rocks. Would teasing out someone's anger work in rousing a fighter? Would endangering civilians have to do it? If he needed to play the villain to seek out another fighter, then he would. He was looking for one who had potential and the right edge. Someone he could pass on the lessons he learned. The only problem was finding the right one to teach. Tossing the rocks lightly in the air and catching them with the same hand, Tobias would send one towards the head of the one on the bench and the others at civilians in the area. There were only a couple targets to hit. One was holding a book and he sent the rock directly at the spine of the book. None of the rocks were intended to hurt the civilians, only to make a point that he could if he wished. The only exception was to the mouthy person on the bench. He could have a welt for his words.
It pained his heart that he still hadn't found what he sought and it seemed to be a fruitless search. Would this fighter even exist anymore? Would the beast within people be too civilized? Tobias thought back to the fighters he once trained and wished he could return to the simpler times when he didn't have to search for fighters. They would seek out his training. The problems of society seemed to break down the spirit of the warrior and the fury of the berserkers. Too many fighter lost their edge as they grew or ended up dying away due to whatever came their way.
Am I the last fighter left? It seems all those from 552 are gone and I am all that is left.

Em let the book fall back onto her lap, her left hand snatching forward and catching the rock out of the air. There was a reason she was watching these two. She didn't trust them. So as her hand caught the stone (with some stinging pain in her palm from it) it would cock back and hurl it right back at Tobias....for his shoulder. Whether it hit or not, she'd stare at him without saying anything. She didn't really care that the civilians were hit- it wasn't anything extremely harmful, and this was her time off.
So she just stared, rather unimpressed.
If he did nothing, she'd lift the book back up slowly and seem to continue reading.

Hearing a whistling, Tobias turned and snapped a hand out to close around what was heading toward him. As his hand closed onto where he was expecting the rock to be, his shoulder was hit. Tobias bent down to pick the rock back up while raising an eyebrow and smiling slightly to himself. Someone had some skill. This was the rock that he tossed earlier at someone. Looking at those he targeted with the rocks, only one of them was staring at him.
With a flick of his wrist the rock was sent towards the female staring at him. The target was her forehead. The female was wearing a mask on her face and had dropped the book it seemed. Was this the person he was looking for? A female was willing to retaliate against an offense from him was not something new in the past. Most females were fighters nowadays as far as he had seen. If she looked angry or upset after being hit, Tobias would grin evilly at her and beckon her to attempt an attack on him.

Em snapped the book closed and with her left hand would whip it up to slap the stone away. Catching it would have been painful- this man was a little stronger than he looked. Her eyes narrowed, and she would reach to the left to grab her bag, stuffing her books inside. Coming to her feet, she'd sling it over her left shoulder and start walking toward him.
He was smirking.
She sighed. She hated it when cocky nobody's thought themselves superior to those around them. She'd stop about four feet in front of him, left hand holding the strap of the pack while her right hand stayed at her side. She'd stare up into his eyes and tilt her head a little to the right. He didn't need to say anything and neither did she. It was obvious what he wanted.
Whipping the bag around into a hurl, she would huck it as his chest. Assuming he caught it, she would throw a left front kick for the bag, intent to force it against him harshly and push him backward. She would ignore the one in the bench from a critical standpoint, instead making sure to just remain aware in case they moved to intervene with her putting down this macho man baby.
She hated bullies.

That did it. The smirk was enough to get the female's attention and force the fight. As the lady came towards him and stopped a few feet in front of him, the tilt of her head and the look she gave him was all that he needed to know that she was willing to give him a taste of his own medicine. This in itself was a surprise as few female fighters took the direct approach and would rely on misdirection for their attacks or tactics that would off balance the opponent. Such a thought sparked old memories of the females that had once opposed him in Public High School #552. One such was a female Pillar who was desperate to keep her position as a Pillar that she "confessed her feelings" to Tobias in an attempt to off balance him. The attempt did do such and he was unsure on how to proceed with her acting in such a way. It was only truly a delaying tactic till another Pillar could arrive to force the fight into favorable odds for her.
The backpack sent flying at him was enough to confirm that she was willing to engage him and didn't mind using what was at hand to fight. It was a thing that Tobias could respect and it was a great way to gauge the strength of the opponent. Keeping himself suppressed as he fought would be a challenge, but something he could enjoy if done correctly.
Reaching forward with his right hand, this time Tobias correctly judged the distance of the bag and pushed it down from the top of the bag. His eyebrows raised at the power put into the throw and he was forced to step to the side to completely shut down the initial attack. His eyes never left his opponent as he left hand reached towards her in the attempt of grabbing her for a throw. Instead his hand was used to intercept the kicked intended for the bag thrown at him and even catching the attack was enough to send him sliding back a couple of steps. The power in that kick proved she was no slouch for fighting and couple be a contender.
Rotating his left wrist while shaking his hand to reduce the stinging, Tobias breathed deeply and exhaled as he watched this opponent of his in front of him. Should he keep himself suppressed or ramp his strength up to what she was putting out? As soon as that thought occurred, he tossed the idea aside as he lacked information on this fighter's overall power. Better to take a beating while figuring it out instead of randomly guessing what the current limit of his opponent was.
Taking a traditional stance of Shaolin Wushu, Tobias faced his opponent and smiled at her with arrogance upon his face. He needed to see her fire and rage. Did she possess it and could she harness it to grow to even greater heights? If Tobias had to act like a villain to cause this person to grow and show their true self, then he would. Tobias would do such to try and get a desired result, despite all that he hated using such underhanded measures.
Exploding forward with a quick step, Tobias sent his right fist straight toward the female's sternum with a lunge punch and followed up with an elbow at the side of her head as he stepped forward once again. It was the opening attacks that could show one's skill or determination as to their intentions. Tobias just planned to test her responses to his actions with these opening gambits.

She kept both her hands at her sides, watching him take a stance. Using her right leg, she would kick the bag to the side, sliding it out of their field of battle. She brought up her right hand and would shuffle it through her hair, adjusting it backward and tucking it into the rear of her sweater. Best keep it out of the way until she discovered what kind of opponent she had on her hands. He had this battle lust- similar to what she felt from the former Captain during the fights she'd seen him in. It made her wary. Those types of fighters were always dangerous, and capable of either wild brawling or technical direction.
As he lunged forward, throwing that right fist forward, her left hand would aim clasp into the top of his forearm while her right would snatch out to try and palm the left side of his face. Her thumb would try and stab into his left eye by digging in at the corner near his nose bone- not an attack that would permanently maim but one that would hit that nerve center and cause intense pain. If it worked, the natural reaction would be to close his eyes in that instant. So, using her grip on the head and arm, she'd jerk and turn, intent to take him off balance and fall in the direction she wished- to his right. Her grip on his head would allow her to slam his face down as he fell into the edge of the bench that the other male was sitting against.
OOC:
Emily attempts to grab the top of the punching forearm just before it makes contact, using her left arm, palm the side of his head while using the thumb in an eye gouge with her right, which would likely cancel out the elbow. She'd pull a little to his right on the arm while pushing the same direction with her right hand, intent to cause him to fall from the sudden shifting force to smash the right side of his head into/through the edge of the bench seat.

Takumi shifted to the side of the bench. He didn't want to get in the way, not that he minded being a part of the fight. Quite the contrary.
"I call winner."
He would mutter with a small smile on his face.

The thumb that went for his eye was stopped by his sunglasses and they cracked slightly from the impact before his head was shoved into the side if the bench. The wood cracked a bit from the impact and the smile on his face began to show once again as he felt the pain from all of the damage dealt to him. His mood was on its way to becoming vicious and his bloodlust was starting to be released as his inner beast craved to claw its way out. Even the words spoken by the fool on the bench didn't deter his beast from rearing its head as he slowly straightened up. Turning his head lightly and cracking his neck, Tobias felt his body loosen and continually opened as well as closed his hands in excitement.
"Stand up to fight or get lost, pretender. You lack a warrior's spirit."
A bit more and I may have to remove the restrictions on me. This female has the moves and instinct it seems. Let us see what her true potential is.
Rushing forward in a boxer stance and throwing a quick combination of lefts and rights at her mostly as feints, Tobias dropped backwards as he spun to his right side and kicked out at her throat. Should the kick miss, then his foot would attempt to hook on the back of her neck and throw her to the right.
As the fight's tempo started to rise, the phone in Tobias' pocket started to ring.

Without much attention being drawn to herself she came over where all the commotion was gathering and dropped to balance on her toes watching. She could feel the energy in the air crackle and sting as everyone was hyped in their movements It also made her feel like this was a little beyond her level. So she watched and waited. Examined their movements and styles. It was what would be entertaining to her if she had not gotten a chance to play a part in this crowd. she leaned back for a more comfortable position thinking about sticking around and rested her chin on an arm that was propped up by a leg while the other rested between them in her stance. She would give the respect to the ones already in a spar.
She might have gotten to the end of it, hearing the fellow's phone go off not sure if he'd stop the fight for it. Which in her eyes would be rude but also kind of confident on his part. Anyone person could hop up and knock him while distracted... that is as it would seem if they dared.

Takumi sighed and rolled his head over to look at the man whose head has pierced the bench beside him.
"Are you so inexperienced or perhaps so optimistic to think you can handle two skilled fighters? It seems you can hardly handle this Woman."
He let his head fall back and resting it on the bench once more.
"Just try not to break the bench. I shall have no where to sit."
Takumi's smile turned into a grin as he chuckled at the darkened sky, fully expecting some blow on him or the bench.
