Kit's day of "rest"

[Kit Wolf]

Kit was just minding his own adding the new mods to his deck.Thinking to himself. "By the gods i wish i had a sparing partner on days like this. Its such a beautiful day a duel would be a perfict thing today."  Kit would put in his headphones and turn on his mix tape of rap rock and country music starting with MGk"Mind or a stoner". Kit would lay back putting his backpack and board under his head pulling his hood up over his head. Closing his eyes taping his foot to the beat. 

[Deacon Graves]

Unknown to  theone who had put his head-phones on and pulled his hood up, a pair of icy blue iris' stared from a short distance away. Deacon Graves had been wandering again through the training field, his purpose for doing so was probably not unlike most who would come here. To train. And here this kid was... Being lazy as all hell, like this was a some personal park of his. If there was one thing Deacon was not, it was lazy. Wasting time was for morons, if you weren't working to improve yourself, what was the point in being here at all?

After a series of slow, casual and careful foot-steps carried him about ten feet from the person resting his head on a skate board and his bag, facing him directly on. He would shift on his feet, left hand lifting slightly below his waist, extending toward the boy, almost as if he was reaching out to grab something. The young male with his eyes closed would feel a vibration of his headphones before they flicked suddenly forward off his head, onto the ground in front of both of them.

"Hey, you." Deacon's voice called out, those blue eyes staring toward the kid with a slight frown upon his head as he cocked it toward his right side, chin slightly raised. "Are you a trainee? Shouldn't you be doing something useful?" Deacon was sure the kid would wonder what the heck had even just happened, considering the slightly older looking male before him was still ten feet away, yet had someone managed to yank at his headphones. Regardless, there seemes to be a hint of tension building, as if Deacon was already preparing to 'get some training in'.

If this kid wanted to relax, he picked the wrong place to do it.

Kit would jump to his feet at the sound of the strangers voice and his headphones being removed. Looking dead into the eyes of the boy ahead of him kit would slowly squat down and pickup his headphones never leaving the gaze of the new challenger.

Lightly and tauntingly Kit would say "if it's a challenge you want you have it but one question. How did you remove my headphones from over there?"

Kit would slowly under his jacket loosen the strap holding his staff in place at the small of his back hidden from view of all.

[Deacon Graves]

"Perhaps if you pay attention... You'll find that out for yourself." His voice was flat, his tone hard to decipher when he spoke. Deacon treated these little encounters as seriously as he possibly could. He wouldn't look to injure or maim, but he wasn't going to take it easy either. That wouldn't help either of them.

His right hand would lift again, extensing off toward his right, sat his side. His fingers would bend again, only this time something else would happen. From behind his back, out of what appeared to be a slim, medium sized back-pack of sorts, speckled stream of dark grit seemed to begin to float and swirl up from the top of it, snaking its way around his arm rapidly. The dark debris seemed to gleam in the sun-light before it consumed Deacon's arm in it's entirety.

With a sudden leap backwards, the blonde haired man's arm would swipe ahead of him, pointing toward the lazy kid as the metal sand that covered his arm shot off, forming into something akin to a soft-ball sized 'bullet'. While dulled and blunted so that it wouldn't cause any potentially lethal damage, the projectile would tear across the distance between them, intending to land square upon his chest.

Ferrokinetic Weaponry - So long as Deacon's metal sand bag, or other metal debris is within his surroundings, he is able to manipulate the sand to form various melee weaponry, or to be shot off in the fashion of a projectile. He does not have to be holding said weapon or projectile to be able to strike with it. This ability adds 1/2 Deacon's Energy stat to his attacks, so long as the ability is maintained.

Kit would make a split second draw on his staff elongating it tho its full length swinging it from left to right in time to smack the bullet out of the way while preparing for a front flip to close the distance that way he could swing the staff at the stranger's head to try and finish the fight before it even got started.

[Deacon Graves]

Deacon's eyes narrowed as he paid close attention to that actions his new 'training partner' chose to take. He would adeptly deflect the bullet and upon impact it would break apart into a metallic cloud of dust, that would swirl back toward it's hosts body.

More metal dust would float upward, covering his arm again as it formed a blade and moved to shift horizontally. Left palm at the flat of his new blade arm, Deacon would brace it for impact as Kit flipped forward to meet him and swing his staff. It would connect, the force behind it was impressive. He could feel the soles of his boots scrape across the ground as he moved from the preasure.

But Deacon was still composed and ready to strike, despite the stinging numbness that had consumed his arm. His left leg snapped upward, the point of his knee looking to bury itself into Kit's stomach and force him back to create some distance.

Kit wouldnt notice the counter attack until last minute when he dropped his right hand off the staff to try to stop the upcoming knees power but takeing the hit flying back about 2 feet before planting the end of the staff in the ground allowing the force of his opponent's attack as will as his body weight to swing around the staff to swing his feet towards the boy in a form of a swing kick. letting go of his left hand again building up his Qi making the shadow around him start to dance.

The knee landed, although not as intended, still had a similar outcome. The boy was struck and knocked backwards, but would manage to catch himself on his staff and attempt to return another strike. The metal sand covering his arm would granulate again, gravity taking hold as it dropped lifeless into a pile on the ground.

As that happened, Deacon would have bent his knees and dropped low, throwing his arms out at his sides as shifted his upper-body backwards and threw himself forward into something akin to a base-ball slide and allowing the swing-kick to pass overhead. Left foot still leading, Deacon intended to kick the staff itself from underneath Kit and continue sliding through.

Kit would allow the staff to be kicked from under him as he fell he would summon the shadows into his had in the form of a short staff swinging it with his left hand downwards trying to catch the ankle of the boy with the staff towards the end that way it had maximum power and efficiency. Kit thought to himself ~this kid just wont stop.~


shadow staff: Kit has the ability to summon his shadow into the form of a basic bow staff adding 1\2 of his energy to his attack stat for one attack. He is able to do this 7 times.

[Deacon Graves]

Deacon had slid forward feet first, so when they struck the staff he would have continued to slide, passing underneath Kit as he fell and continuing onward. So when Kit had tried to summon and swing a second staff, he would have no target beneath him to attack, as Deacon had continued sliding.

Whether he landed on his feet, or hit the ground hard, Deacon would have halted a few feet away and lifted himself up before pivoting to face Kit once again. His hands would lift and that was when the pile of metal sand that had dropped where he previously stood, would spring to life again. It would form into a fist and a forearm that would lift and thrust away from the ground, before arching and intending to connect with the back side of Kit whether he was on his feet or not.

Kit Would stumble to his feet only to be knocked back down by an attack to his back sending him face first into the dirt. ~oww that hurt~ Kit would role away from the boy grabbing his staff as he did so putting distance between himself and Deacon. Kit would spin to look at the boy with a glare in his eyes one only sees in a mad wolf.

"so your strikes are nice and practiced and you keep a cool head under presser. I like that. Whats your name." As kit was speaking he was uncliping the chain wrapped around his right arm preparing to launch an all out attack but waiting and watching his opponent

[Deacon Graves]

"Deacon Graves- Remember it, kid." The blond man straightened up, icy blue iris' staring toward the staff wielding trainee across from him. In a real combat situation, Deacon wouldn't have let up. He would have pushed until one of them was on the ground. However, this wasn't a dire situation, so he would pull back slightly as the metal sand that had last struck Kit, returned to dust and snaked its way back through the air, into Deacon's bag.

His hands would lift off to his aides a bit and his fingers would egg the kid on a bit more. "You're not too bad yourself. Gimme your best shot."

"vous l'avez demandé" kit would pull his right foot back preparing to jump at decan. Bracing himself for the attack he was about to do kit would put his staff up calapsing it into it's compact state before summoning his shadow staff. Kit would jump at the boy swing the staff in a full over hand swing with his left hand while keeping his chain covered hand behind his back ready to fire a quick punch at decon if he desided to try and dodge the staff attack.

Kit would speak again in a foreign language that Deacon didn't understand, however his body language would key the blonde man into what his opponent was preparing to do. Deacon's knees bent in preparation and he waited until Kit jumped to react. His opponent had commited to an aerial attack and Deacon was in predator mode, he would capitalize on this mistake. He would shift toward his right, circling around to keep distance from Kit's hidden right hand and stay to the outside of his staff strike.

As his feet worked, Deacon's right arm would have already pulled into a curled position and be thrust upward. With his opponent already commited to his jump and downward swing, Deacon was almost entirely sure he would connect. He would fixate and hone in on the magnetic field surrounding Kit's body and thrust his arm outward to break it. The field would become visible for a brief moment as Deacon punched through it, tearing it before an electrical surge would likely rip throughout Kit's body.

Electromagnetic Tear
When Deacon successfully strikes someone with this ability, he is able to focus upon his target's electromagnetic field and litterally tear a hole in it, cause it to disrupt and overload, sending pain throughout his target's body. This ability allows him to output damage equal to his own Energy stat.
