Using her skills to her advantage she'd perceive the openings in security and venture across the rather quiet training grounds. Thinking this might be the best way to infiltrate the grounds and blend in with the late night people walking about. She'd carry her backpack, tightening the straps, and silently and quickly making her way through some rocky paths and rubble broken apart by some very strong force. She sniffed the air and smelled the stone and sand. Seemed like she was in a rocky canyon portion of the grounds. but seeing the lights it was not far from the main campus. She needed to get in and through the sleeping quarters. Old smells of sweat, blood, and body odor mixed with the place. Some were fresher, some were nearby... she dropped behind a pillar of rock and opened her bag. It was mostly filled with a large box and in it, you'd be able to hear some ticking. She was asked to deliver this to someone here at Cabal. They paid good money for it and did not want to be traced back to them. Avice did not even know who they were just where to place the package.
Zipping up her backpack she caught a really fresh scent and heard steps in the distance. They were close, she wondered how they got so close without her noticing. The package was a priority... With that on her mind, she jumped up and took off running in the dark as silent as ever.

The hours he kept were irregular, to say the least. He liked to find times with fewer people about. The place still felt far too crowded for his tastes. Still, he'd learned that avoiding people all together was a futile task, people were up at all hours. So it was a matter of minimizing the crowds. That being said his desire to be left alone didn't outweigh his suspicious nature at seeing something super sketchy. Habits from back home where ignoring things out of place was a good way to wind up dead. So when he'd spotted a woman dressed to blend in with the night sneaking onto the grounds and far away from the main traffic centers he had to investigate.
This was something that he'd lived for his whole life. Following and tracking enemies through forests and cliffs. He was fair at avoiding notice when he had a mind for it. He didn't know what was going on yet, and it wasn't until she opened the bag allowing his ears to hear the ticking that he made up his mind. He had to assume a bomb given the circumstances. And he'd drop all pretense of stealth as he rushed into the scene, running after her as she zipped up and took off. She was fast, but he'd spent a fair bit of time around here and he knew the terrain. He'd do what he could to catch up and get to higher ground so he could jump down and cut her off. If she had a bomb he'd not allow her to reach the main population of the Academy, no matter his feelings toward them.
When he found his opening he'd leap into the air, his body twisting as he flipped to land in front of her in a crouch, a hand already resting on his hilt as he slowly rose amid the dust cloud that he disturbed with his landing. His eyes watched her with narrowed interest as he spoke.
"Open the bag and put it on the ground."

Skidding to a stop the dust that began to stir lingered around them both settling when it felt like. She stood in silence, her face grew a mischievous grin.
"You been out here too long you bloody stink ya big bloke, didn't think you'd be gettin' ahead of my path though. Good on ya, but I've been paid to make a delivery so I am goin' to say I'm disinclined to acquiesce to your request." He'd have to catch her first. A hand hovered in front of her while she used the other to grip the strap of her backpack. She was ready for him to pounce and find an opening to slip by as soon as she could.

His lips twisted upward and his arm would start to bubble, his clothes bulging outward before they'd rip. His bones let out a series of painful snaps and cracks as hairs burst from his arm's now scaled skin. He'd advance and with a fluid and quick motion, one that had been practiced thousands of times his blade would be freed from its prison. But he was not simply drawing his blade to make his intentions known, the unsheathing itself was his opening attack, the blade seeking to slice into the flesh of her stomach. The advantage of a sword was it increased his range and against someone not used to that, it can be quite sudden. "Understood." Qi posts used 1/10 Attack 30 Defense increased by 4

Glancing up at the monitors, heard the draw of steel but saw nothing. She'd tap her command mic.
"Defense net, surveillance mode."
The camera's started buzzing, and eighty drones would blast out of the hangars, headed for the training grounds. The cameras began to move as well, and would turn to finally spot Blake, fighting an unknown.
Em started picking her nose.
"Uh...huh...."

The noises his body made by themselves were enough to make her gag. And the smell coming from him changed to a ripe bloody mess of Danger. Yeah, she was called a vampire many times but the smell of blood was not actually a pleasant one. Not like she needed it for nourishment.
"Oi, you fuckin' git." She perceived the action quick enough to process it and with the speed and length it came out to be she could feel the blade slice some of her dark curls as she fell to the ground. She landed on her side careful not to land on the package. She decided to not wait on his next move but rolled away and flipped to her knees and with her toes in position with a single hand supporting her on the dirt. She Bolted pushing all her speed in the kick off hoping to gain the momentum to make him eat her dust.
She heard something else in the distance something sounding like a hive of electronic wasps. She'd been spotted... "Shitte..."

She could try, but as she was ducking and pushing herself upward he was already moving in to close the distance, his blade twisting in his grip as it came down in another fluid motion from the first one. His movements flowing like water and placed together like a tapestry. This time, however, he was aiming for the straps of her bag. If she was going to try to retreat then he'd separate her from her objective. He had more than one way to carry out his self-appointed mission. Qi posts used 2/10

She felt the weight slip off her shoulders and crash to the dirt tumbling about. That made her stop and look at him thinking about grabbing it. But there was an outburst of frustration from her mouth. "IF IT BE BROKEN I'LL TAKE IT FROM YOUR HIDE!" with that she reached into her back pocket and flipped open a small pocket knife. Compared to his sword and mutated arm it would be not but a fingernail in comparison but that all depended on if he was fast enough to stop her from getting right through his range to stab his chest and kick him where the family jewels be. She crouched real low and kicked off and she felt the energy from within her rise using what speed she could muster she took off like a rocket and made her move.

Seemed that he hit a nerve. That was good, angry people fought stupid. And sure enough, she pulled out a pocket knife. Not the weapon he'd choose to go toe to toe with a warrior with a sword. But he could respect her for standing her ground with what she had on hand. He watched her coming at him low and fast. He adjusted his monster arm with the sword to open up his guard, letting her in. As she rocketed upward her knee would connect with his cup as her knife buried itself into his chest. But as she was slamming her leg upward he'd be shifting in to slam his foot onto her grounded foot as his monster arm swung inward so he could press the blade against her back. And then if she didn't get out of that somehow he'd jerk his arm down to slice through her back while he had her in close quarters. Right where he wanted her. Qi posts used 3/10

" Krane Asiv , Come in." She leaned back, kicking up her feet. "Blake Oleander has engaged an intruder in the training center. Are you nearby to assist?" If not, she'd just have to go herself.

She had one more move before the blade went straight through her. She jumped high enough that his foot missed grounding her as she grabbed a fist full of hair and dug her nails into a wide shoulder to slam her fangs over his Jugular. He'd bleed out in minutes. But when the blade finally did slice through so would she. Suppose the Antique clock in her bag might reach the Sister of the Cabal student she met while she was on an undercover mission. Apparently, it was a birthday gift, told Avice she had to make sure no one knew anything. She at least got it this far. She held onto his neck as the blood his and her own had tried to choke her.

With her having to let go of the blade to grab for his hair he'd use his other hand to push back on her chest as she lunged for his neck to push her further into his blade. If she could still reach his neck and bite into it, well, she'd have earned it and he'd add it as a testament of her determination. To fight with everything she had, that was a fighting spirit that he could respect. Even if he was opposed to her. Qi posts used 4/10

Still gripping his hair and shoulder fighting with what strength she has. There was the pain in her body with a blade protruding through it. Despite the fact she can smell and taste not but the blood she is gushing. She did not let go of him, she'd rather he'd not have a scalp than let go. Not ever receiving an injury this severe she was not sure she'd live long enough for it to heal. She spat blood on his face but there was too much of it to form words before she was feeling her fingers grow cold and her eyes blur. She'd fight until she couldn't and that is exactly what she did.

"Set her down gently."
With no response from Krane, it was assumed he was either off duty, sleeping or otherwise engaged. So Emily now stood a ways behind Blake who was in full rage mode. She'd be walking toward them, hands in her hoodie, mask on the lower half of her face to conceal her identity. Still, she did wear the "Officers" patch, so he would know she was from Cabal. She'd move over to look at Avice, assuming Blake did as ordered.
"What happened?"
She'd be speaking to Blake.

She was gripping his hair still which was impressive. She had a fighting spirit. His eyes shifted to look over the girl barking orders. His lips pressed together but the officer patch was visible. So he'd comply, slowly bending down to help lower the woman to the ground before pulling the knife out of his chest and tossing it to the side. The wound in his chest starting to heal as soon as the knife was taken out of his body. "I observed the intruder skulking about campus and followed her. When she opened her bag I was able to hear ticking and assuming the worst I confronted her. The target refused to surrender the bag so I engaged." Qi posts used 5/10
