Reporting for Duty (Leon/Research)

[Leon]

I Weigrif would pick up his pupils and hand off his blade. Adjusting his shades and heading back inside. The two would wander off likely to get checked out. Weigrif would wash his hands and then pick up Eric's food. Bringing it over and placing it down.

"Sorry about the disruption and... Tense mood."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"It happens."

He'd say, sliding the plate over to his front. Giving the window another glance.

"What was his offer? If you don't mind me asking?"

[Leon]

"It was more of an ultimatum. Let them add things to me and destroy The God's, or prepare to have 202 join Prota."

Weigrif would shrug sighing at the prospect.

"However, I feel they under estimate people willing to stand up for themselves and a peaceful life."

[Mathew Amtrum]

He nodded. He'd have told them to fuck off too. It was a shitty offer.

"And if I said it was possible that I could handle your Prota problem?"

Hypothetically speaking of course.

[Leon]

"I'd say there was a catch."

Weigrif would say. Not dismissing the seemingly crazy hypothetical offer. Weigrif had seen a lot of things in life, one man with the power to stop such a thing would not be out of that norm.

[Mathew Amtrum]

He'd shake his head.

"I don't do catches. No catch. But a price."

He'd motion for him to take a seat if he wanted.

"But I find myself needing to ask if you are the person I'd need to talk to for negotiations."

[Leon]

Weigrifs eyes would narrow behind his shades. He'd stay standing but take a more relaxed stance.

"I'd say I'm the first step of a person to talk to for negotiation. Though we should speak on even ground. I am Weigrif the Grief Blade. I protect territory 202 because these people deserve it and the man I work for believes it too. He is Arturo the Kings Blade. With whom do I speak?"

[Mathew Amtrum]

"You may call me Eric Cunningham and I am here because powerful people have an issue with your shadow operations destabilizing the region. Though we would also prefer to see your people not slaughtered like livestock in retaliation by those that would do you harm."

[Leon]

Weigrif would muse the thoughts over in his mind for some time before responding.

"And who or what do you represent?"

He didn't like shady dealings with unknowns about as much as he liked messing with Prota soldiers.

[Mathew Amtrum]

"I come on behalf of one of the Dragons to handle this at my discretion."

The implied part of that was that if he could not reach an agreement that worked for both sides that he would force things to resolve on his side, their wishes and lives be damned. Though he would rather work this out in a mutually beneficial manner.

[Leon]

That lowered Weigrifs guard a bit.

"That's... A rather powerful allie to have. Very well I speak for my Lord in this matter. What is the price?"

[Mathew Amtrum]

"I would like to be placed on whatever authority dispatches your shadow operations. Both to use at our discretion and to ensure that this region is not destabilized."

He'd take a bite of his sandwich, chewing it slowly to let the man mull it over before swallowing to continue.

"Contingent on my success of course."

[Leon]

The man would be a bit more sullen as he thought this one over. He thought it over longer this time. He had heard of deals with Dragons, though to be subject to one was far different than hearing tale of one and hypothetically turning it down when talking with your mates were stark contrasting situations.

"Contingent on your success... I'd like to say to my men this is a better outcome. I'd need to know, typically what your say would have of them?"

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Honestly? It would primarily be regulating just how much you are disrupting neighboring territories to ensure you don't bring to much heat down on your people. On a personal note I am tracking down certain dangerous individuals and I would value the extra eyes that skilled operatives could lend."

[Leon]

Weigrifs eyes would narrow. Dangerous individuals being hunted by someone working for a Dragon...

"Then contingent on your success... I would have to agree to those terms."
