He took another sip from his drink, she was asking for his help now. His guidance. Quite a change of heart from their last encounter. She either saw something new in him now or more likely she was fumbling and out of her league with the task she'd taken on. On first blush, it may appear that their goals were aligned, but he was certain that what he was looking for had nothing to do with whatever chase Mr. David Blaze had sent her on.
He gave her a warm smile as he made his decision. He would give her some guidance and help her out for the time being. While he was here it couldn't hurt his own goals, and in its own way, it may bring him closer to one of his tertiary objectives. She seemed simple enough to deal with after all.
"Of course I will offer you guidance. We are all in this together and helping you become the best you can be is helping myself as well."
If only she knew how true that was.
"How may I assist you?"

She rested an elbow in a palm that was laid over her middle and pinched her chin. Thinking about how they should go about doing this and what needed to be done.
"I 'ave an idea... But I'll have to meet with you later." She started planning to glance at him and almost trying to see what he might be capable of. She underestimated the boy from the other night as well and that was not something she was proud of. "Meet me tomorrow on the track? I do well out in the world myself but obviously, in 'ere I am quite green. I would like to see 'ow I measure, if ye 'ave me?" she removed her fingers from her chin and looked at Eric waiting for his confirmation.

"I assume I should dress down?"
If they were going to the track he could only assume it would be a physical activity. And if she was seeing how she measured up around here, that very well could be combat. A fair choice, and working at night was interesting. It would lower visibility and thus reaction time, or make it harder to follow and read each other's body movements. Unless she had keen senses. A possibility, and a smart choice to try and edge out an advantage for her.
Not that it would work if that was what she had planned. He could cope with such things, but he had to admit that he was eager to see what she had in store. Thus far everyone he had encountered in Cabal seemed so timid. An unusual trait to be so predominant for a place that was training soldiers.
"I shall be there, however."
