Her leg swung back to catch herself with him still upright and her arm holding his she was able to keep her balance that was assuming he had no intention of going down with her. While it thwarted her kick to his side, he forgot about her open hand and when he brought his leg up she'd slam it down and block it. She did not wait to see if it really stopped it before bringing the back of her hand straight up to connect with his chin. Hoping he hadn't needed to make some public appearance for a while she grinned and twisted inward backside to his chest. It would have almost seemed like a dance move hadn't she already be leveraging him. With a loud breath, she was going to toss him over her shoulder and onto his back. Letting go of his arm.

John's grin would explode across his face as her hand blocked his knee strike. Her hand coming for his chin as he tilted his head to the side, he knew this move. Asiv himself used it regularly against his Muay Thai, the backhand would instead slam his cheek bone, however he continued with his own plan of slamming his fist into her face. Dead center was his aim, and since his foot was going back to the ground anyways he would attempt to place it on her foot as well.
The strike to his cheek bone having already turned red, she had a considerable amount of force behind her tiny frame. He enjoyed this either way. A tough opponent and a fun fight.

With his foot slamming down on her own she never seemed to have made her last move and it was then she felt his fist hit her face, as his made a connection with her fist. He held her with a foot and she held him by the arm each with knuckles in their faces. His squared her in the eye and she took it and the pain of it. Good thing he actually had skill. She was enjoying this for sure.
"I don't need to teach you a damn thing." She chuckled. "Asiv's time and money weren't wasted for you to be forced to bend the knee for others because you underestimated them." With her knuckles at his cheek, she playfully tapped that red spot again. She was familiar with taking it easy but she had too much fun sparing others that it was hardly in her mind to take things easy. But out on the field... she was all punches and form. She took her jobs seriously. She'd let him go and use the loose sand to slip her toes from beneath his own foot and backed off. She could already feel her eye starting to throb and it was going to be bruised well and good. "Thank goodness you are not one of those dudes who is against hitting girls... I hate it when they back out with that excuse... Anyway, what next?" She got back in her stance ready in case he came back again.

John would roll the shoulder and grip the elbow of the arm Rhona had a hold of, keeping a smile while letting out a big breath.
"Haaaaaaah, ow."
He said as he cringed at the stretch in his arm.
"Well, in a fight you aint a girl as far as I care. Aint my choice what parts you decide to bring to the ring. All I care about is that you can fight."
He'd chuckle a bit.
"Dunno. Hows about we see about our powers. You got any nifty sun throwing abilities, or some?"

"Again, I appreciate that." She smiled stretching out a bit since he just charged at her earlier. She could feel that she wasn't reacting as quickly as she wanted to.
He'd ask her about some range and she'd shake her head while leaning to one side an arm straight above her head. "Nope didn't I tell you? I am shiny, up close, and personal. I have nothing with the range longer than my arm span and how far light might travel." She rose from that stretch and dipped to the ground as her legs were far from each other. Rising again she'd shake it out of her shoulders.
She'd make her arms glow, seeing the current of light make its way pulsing hot through her veins. Looking at him to give another shrug.

And idea suddenly hit John as he walked over to his hammer.
"Lets try something fun."
John would lift the hammer and slam it into the sand, as a pillar of sandstone rose up, then was surrounded by more pillars, and right behind it a wall. John would walk over to Rhona and smile wide.
"Lets use your brute force, my projectile power and your heat resistance. You leap at the pillars, I'll blast you with the flame thrower to propel you and you smash the obstacle. Otherwise known as our target."

The Pillars came up and she watched them with awe. It was an impressive instant to witness.
However...
She heard him right didn't she? He wanted her to take off on the force of his blasts? She was going to go with this idea that he would test her out to be some kind of human cannon?
She brought both her hands up made a symbol of time out. "Whoa whoa... whoa... John, You want to launch me at a target?" She pointed at one of the pillars trying to imagine this really working instead of humoring a cartoonish idea.
She took a couple of steps back and tried to think of it. She lifted her hand up and forward measuring somethings getting a better visual. "I'll need to come at them at an angle... you shooting fire under my feet instead of up my butt might be the most accurate method to make this work." Hopefully he was thinking along similar lines. "This Dynamic entry... thing is insane you know..."

John would smile big, and chuckle as he scratched the back of his head. Cheeks a little red.
"Of course I was gonna blast your feet."

He'd stop and nod as his arms caught fire.
"Thats why it's going to be awesome! Because it's insane."

"Only if it works..." She shook her head still not able to believe she was humoring this... She looked around and tried to think of a way to get herself air born. The sand dunes would help but she couldn't just wait for the perfect environmental setup. So she had a better idea.
"Okay... hear me out I am going to run at you and I expect you to not only catch me but push me away with all the explosive power and strength you plan on using. Not only will it give me a base, it gives us freedom, and I hope to the freaking gods that you are good with your aim." Because the way she thinks this will go it will not make them depend on anything except each other.

John liked this idea and this entire time a new Qi move had been developing within his mind. Maybe it was time to put it to the test, cause he is obviously excitable by new ideas and possibilities that he would completely ignore her fear of him not being able to aim. With a brand new technique, with a brand new partner, and a brand new connected idea... What could go wrong?
John would move into position that Rhona instructed and bring as much fire as he could up front and ready to use.

She'd see him power up and assumed that would mean he was ready to start She too began to glow all over for this. She takes a few steps back and gets low feeling the sand get warm with her bare feet below her. It was then that she bolted. With a hard shove, she took of and began building momentum with a cartwheel flip and bringing her feet together for another flip before shoving off the ground a real agile move that would have landed her on the ground but she aimed with well-practiced skill right over the fire user. If he didn't catch her he might get hurt but this was his idea and she was already looking forward at the pillars to aim for.

John watched and as she began flipping he created a massive fire ball between his hands. Seeing her sail over him he turned quickly and would double fist the fire ball into the bottoms of her feet creating a five foot explosion of fire launching her at the pillar and pushing himself back digging into the sane, most of the front of his upper body clothing burned away.
Flame Shot!: John creates a large ball of fire suspended in the air near him, they are sustained only if "Bring The Heat" is active, and is able to launch it by hitting it at any one person, it explodes in a 5 ft radius doing 125% his energy in damage.
Force applied: 18

And like that, she flew, she already had her hands above her head and just made them into fists. She closed her eyes for a moment spotting a pillar closing in. The impact caused it to explode and topple over while she continued downward making the impact with the sand and skipping in the dunes she got sand in her mouth, ears and probably in every inch of her clothes. When she finally stopped it was so disorienting. She was not even sure if she was upright yet.
Apollo's soul: 50% attack= 18 Atk
Spitting what dirt in her mouth and blinking her eyes open. "John?" Not sure how far he was she assumed he's still be over the dunes or on his way she must have landed on her shoulder or something it started to feel sore. "How did it look?"

John would be hauling ass best he could to get to Rhona after the big impact, laughing loudly.
"Daaaamn, that looked awesome!"
He'd come to a stop near by, big cheesy smile on his face.

She stretched her arm and rotated her shoulder.
"I might need to train on some Idea I just got... can you imagine if I could make some kind of solar shield..." She spat more dirt. "I might think this was waaay more awesome." Imagine going through some Qi Beast's guts... oh she would really not coagulate that shit in her hair. While Rhona is not entirely material there is a thing against gunk, fluids, and slime that irritates her... sand might be added to her list today.
