He felt the thrill of victory seeing that his primary goal had been achieved. He'd vowed that he'd make the Dragon bleed and today was that day. If ever there was a marker of his growth this was it. He'd made a legend bleed and proved that he was still just a man. If he was back home he would have a hero's welcome for this. Women would throw themselves at him, and men would aspire to be like him. But no one from home was here to see this, and so his deeds would go unsung. Lost in obscurity. A bitter bite to an otherwise sweet moment. He wished he could say he was surprised when David picked himself back up, but he'd learned to not underestimate any of these freaks. Even if most proved to be a disappointment, there was always another trick up someone's sleeve. Seeing David healing his wounds was reminiscent of the way that Blake himself regenerated. It made sense to him, even if he hated it. Then David launched himself forward, his eyes were barely able to follow the sudden speed, he'd try to stab forward to pierce David as he charged at him rather than defend himself. Either way, the blow would land on Blake and he'd be sent back, his body jolting and tensing from the electricity that surged and burned through his body. He'd shift his arm to slam the blade of his sword into the ground to slow his movement and keep himself from flying too far back. His jaw clenching and muscles randomly convulsing from the electricity as his body fought to heal itself. Qi use 4/27

Death Gaze (Blade) - +6 Speed Ignores 10% target's defense, Marks target upon a successful hit, up to three marks can be held at once. Each mark can be spent to cause a lightning bolt to fire from the sky at the target for 25 attack (can stack up to three)

She was smack with something. It was so fast she hardly saw it until it stopped. With the Storm Dragon, live-wired on his toes. She couldn't see a way she would survive such a force. Slamming into her face she took a tumble and skipped across the pavement. She was surprisingly still able to see out of one eye but she couldn't open her mouth and her neck was stiff through the pain. She remained aglow as she rolled to one side. She brought the glow to her arms and to her hands it formed a bright light in her fingers ready to be sent off. Once it was concentrated enough she'd aim it towards David sending it right off. The beam would fly in all its radiant glory.
With the wounds and the sudden drainage of energy, she'd sit back fading a probably for the rest of the fight. But hell that was cool...
Solar Ray: A huge amount of stored energy gathered together and expelled all at once to burn everything in its path with little to no resistance. To use Rhona must spend half of her available uses, The move adds 50% her energy stat to her energy stat for damage output. Can be maintained for up to three posts in case of "beam struggles". This does half the damage output in backlash to Rhona.

After hitting Rhona, he'd turn around launch himself at Arianna, who would get a backhand of her own, while Baily would have him following up with a swift kick in the midsection. Rhona's attack would hit a wall of ice, which shot up around his back to protect him from her shimmering onslaught. Best to take out the weaker ones, so that he could focus fully on this newfound super power in Blake O'leander. Stats:
Ability 5: Air Infusion - +8 Attack for thread
Ability 6: Wind Rush - +8 Speed for thread
Ability 7: Sky Sight - +8 Perception for thread
Ability 11: Flash Step - David can utilize the wind at his back to increase his speed exponentially. Add energy to speed per post up to 1/2 energy in posts.

The turn caused her eyes to widen, and as though in response four blades sprang from her back connected by chains with a sharp, inhaled cry of pain.
Even that was too little, too late, as before she could even think to do anything - let alone instinctively - David zipped close and backhanded her. Her body flung to the side with the crack of the back of his hand, her vision going from bright to black almost instantly, though the blades careened wildly after her, perhaps scoring a hit in all of her unconsciousness.
Her body hit the ground and bounced with a crackle of bones that was either popping...or breaking before her body came to a crumpled heap of a halt. And her limp form began to smoke, her skin charred, both from where his hand connected and thus where most of the lightning had been concentrated, but also from where the lightning in his aura had connected with her form.

Though Bailey would try to dodge, David was superior. His kick brought the stick into her body with the midsection kick, the force enough to send her back and crashing to the ground.
The cinnamon roll was out cold.

Blake watched as David proceeded to take out the rest of the fighters seemingly with ease, it would appear that it was to be the two of them. It was disappointing to see Bailey drop from one hit, but it was sadly also not a surprise. Standing up and pulling his sword out of the ground he'd brace himself for the inevitable pain he was about to feel, charging at David again, sword pulled back ready for a thrust, but instead of attacking with the sword he would fire another blast from his chest, the energy searing his skin once more that had only moments before grown back. It was agony, but it was agony he planned to share. Qi use 6/27

The blades would flail out, one slicing through David's cheek and opening up a sliver of blood. David would leave it. Best not to waste one of his healing abilities on it. He'd turn to face Blake, wind and lightning still ripping around his body. He'd raise a hand and lazily wave Blake onward. If it wasn't for him, David wouldn't have had to put everyone else down so quickly. He'd have to be more selective about his opponents in the future, for this reason. He wanted them to fight and grow, to understand their abilities. The Raging Demon prevented that. David drew his sword and took to the air, flying over the blast at speed to aim a right handed sword strike down for the nerve center at Blake's shoulder, his gloves now glowing as electicity would lance down the sword. Whether it hit or was blocked, David (hovering there) would whip his left leg up into a kick for the giant mans chin. Storm Dragon Strike Gloves (+5 Eng, +2 Per) - Ability: For up to a maximum of 4 times per thread, David can add 1/2 of his energy to his speed for a single blow.
David creates torrents of air and lightning to shoot around his body to intimidate others. Touching him in this state does 1/2 energy in damage.
Ability 2: Heminn Megin (Ability of Heaven) - By infusing his Qi with targets wounds, he transfuses the wounds onto himself, taking the full brunt of the damage. If one is about to die from the wounds and David heals them, he dies himself. Heminn Mugen may also be used on himself to completely heal wounds bu sucking air into them and searing them closed or knitting the flesh back together and accelerating the healing. May be used for up to 4 posts, cannot be used on broken bones or life threatening wounds.
Ability 3: Storm's Destruction Punch - Using wind at the back of his elbow like a jet, David can throw punches of serious speed and power. David can gain boosts to his ATK and SPD each equal to half his energy, or +8, whichever is smaller. For example- say his energy is 20, the boost would be +8 ATK and +8 SPD.(edited)

Whether or not he was able to hit David it was clear that he was going to keep coming. And that his only move was to stay at a range to fight him. His chest blast was his best weapon against the Dragon, and it was a weapon that would take him down over time. It was not ideal to be his primary attack, but there it was. He would have to endure. A defeat was beyond likely, but his pride would not let him concede. He'd taken everyone else out at once. He had to last as long as he could. Their hopes of victory were now pinned on him. Blake would bring his sword up as his flesh seared and started to heal. A pulse of Qi energy rippling through his blade as a blast of solar energy exploded from the blade, the solar winds creating a knockback effect that would push Blake, and hopefully David away from each other. It wouldn't buy him much time, but he wanted every second he could get. Qi use 9/27

Blake: Sun & Moon - Blake has discovered a new sword technique, By channeling the fury and hatred of the sun, along with the monstrous power he naturally possesses the blade can either explode in a ray of solar energy at any time the wielder chooses to cause a knockback effect (Can propel wielder if allowed), doing Blake's total energy in damage, or can feed off a festering opponent adding the damage done by the infection to the blades damage calculations up to Blake's full energy. |

David was indeed blown backward, grunting a little from the blow as twenty feet were pushed between them. Stopping himself, he'd jet forward to appear around Blakes midsection, aiming a hard right kick for Blakes solar plexus, intent to do as much harm as possible, as quickly as possible. Each ability Blake used would consume his energy, and David felt he had more of it to spare than the demon did.

He'd bring up the blade to repeat the attack and push them back again, but this time he was too slow, the kick hitting him in the solar plexus and sending the giant flying backward into the woods, several trees snapping from the impact as he was sent flying through them!

David chased after him, wind whipping at his clothes as he heard the ambulance arrive behind him for the other three. He'd throw a sharp and stabbing left uppercut while Blake was flying, his increased speed allowing him the chance to keep putting the beat down on his student.

David following up with his attacks would be unblocked, Blake simply wasn't fast enough for it. But what he could do was one last attack while David was engaged in the melee. His chest burned as another searing blast ripped from his chest firing up while his head slammed forward in an attempt to headbutt him into the blast!

The blast hit David's left side, the only thing in the path of the cannon fire. His left side would be a burned, but his arm would host third degree burns and tears. Useless, David shouted and brought his right arm up and around to bring the blade down on Blakes face at the bridge of his nose, intent to smash it as his arm began healing itself. Well, the nose would break from the blow, that's a given. Some of the bones in his face around the nose would break and crack too. While the blasts had done a number on his chest including some internal damage from the heat repeatedly burning so close to his organs. But he'd gotten him twice. And despite the pain, despite his world turning black all he could do was laugh. Blood pouring from his shattered nose as it sprayed and filled his mouth, his internal bleeding intensifying.
No matter what happened, he got what he wanted here. He may have lost the fight, but he'd won his own battle.

David would grab the flying man's body as it began to shrink, stopping him as he lowered them both to the ground. He'd sheath his sword, brow furrowing. This one was strong, sure. But his inexperience and thrill at hurting a Dragon (While admirable) lead him to be weak minded. At least, in David's opinion. He needed to grow...and though he had physically, he was just the same upstairs.
"Still...I am impressed, little demon. Well done. Maybe someday, you'll be less excited by hurting me, and more capable of defeating me."
