Now that he had returned from his mission he figured it was time to move on to the next level. Not that he really needed the approval of the faculty here for his own sake. But his pride didn't care to be called a trainee. He knew he was far above that level, and it rubbed him the wrong way to be able to be addressed as such. It was that in mind that he decided to take the exam, rather than any real sense of wishing to showcase what he'd learned because the truth was, he had learned very little since coming to Cabal. At least very little in terms of using his abilities, but he wasn't here for that.
The person that he'd recruited to help him showcase his abilities was a soldier that had a defensive Qi, one that was able to create a thin forcefield over his flesh. It was Eric's belief that it would be suitable enough to showcase his own abilities without seriously injuring the soldier. Or at the very least to give him a fighting chance.
He'd walk forward into the clearing that would serve as their arena before giving a small salute to the soldier that would help showcase his abilities and another for the inspectors. He would then reach into his pocket and pull out a blindfold, tying it around his eyes to cut out the advantage of sight. It was part of the show and he was going to give them something to watch. His hand would reach into his pocket giving his Jade Dragon a small touch as he channeled his Qi into it, giving it his desire to move forward. Feeding it with determination.
"Strike me."
He'd say as stone rose from the ground to encase his body like armor. The man rushed forward with a right hook, though even blind Eric could feel the footsteps on the ground. The Earth under his own feet would shift as Eric's body slid to the left to avoid the blow, a simple motion to turn and face the man now from the side as he pounded a fist into his stone armor to send out a thin pillar to strike the man from his armor.
Thin as it was it struck with enough force to knock the man off his feet and into the air. He wouldn't get far however as Eric's other hand lifted upward, a hunk of stone rising from the ground to meet the man, cracking as the man slammed into it. A heartbeat later and Eric would snap, the man's Qi signature snagged. Stone slabs from the ground ripped upward to slam into him from all directions as he was encased in a tomb of stone, dropping to the ground.
He would calmly untie his blindfold and pocket it as he walked to the tomb, pounding his fist upon it to crumble it away and free the man. He was bruised and a little bloody, but his injuries were minor thanks to his own defensive Qi.
"I trust that this meets your expectations?"
He'd ask as he turned to face the inspectors, the smallest hint of a smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
Charging Jade Dragon Qi use 1
Stone Skin - Eric manipulates a thin layer of stone over his body to act as armor. 1/2 energy stat added to his defense.
Qi use 2
Tremorsense - Eric's able to read the vibrations in the ground and get a clear picture of his surroundings in a twenty-foot radius with just the vibrations Qi use 3
Shifting Sands - Eric can move the ground under his feet giving him a boost to his speed. 1/4 energy stat added to speed. Qi use 4
Stone Strike - Eric hits the ground and the shockwave sends out small pillars or projectiles of stone at his foe. 1/4th energy stat added to his attack. Qi use 5
Geokinetic Levitation - Eric is able to telekinetically move and levitate stone and metal objects. (+8 to attacks when combined with an attack) Qi use 6
Stone Tomb - If Eric has struck someone with one of his elemental attacks he has left his magnetic signature on them. This allows him to activate it as a beacon to bring stone and metal up from the area to slam and crush the target adding his energy stat to his attack. Afterwards, the signature dissipates. Qi use 7

Bonus: Use two abilities specifically designed to work together.
