Before the war it was a border town near the Great Lakes and was busy with a bunch of trade contracts. During the war however... During the war it was devastated land, uncontrollable, even the Dragons abandoned it for better opportunities considering it impossible due to the resources surrounding it all. However it stabilized near the end and during the accords they were one of the first territories to deny peace talks and leave.
Having not signed the Accords they were targeted for multiple years by surrounding territories, but every time were fought off. Now we know why.
A separated faction of the Gods known as The Knights of the Round have become the leaders of this territory. Unlike the Gods were positions are decided through combat, these positions are blood related. Following the mythology of nobility, the child takes over for the parent.
The current leader is a young man, however he is fierce and highly perceptive.
As for the territory peoples its self they stick to themselves, taking care of travelers, using farming and gathering camps for food, water, and materials for building. They don't have a standing military, just the Knights of the Round and local men and woman who have been trained by Lancelot to hunt local animals and defend against Qi Beasts.

Through peace negotiations the speaking Qi Beast known as Ragnarok has allied himself with The Knights of the Round. This prevents Qi Beast issues and adds Qi Beast and Ragnarok to 244's power rating,
